This is the DIRECT sequel to Tales of Symphonia. It was announced on July 20, 2007. It should be out t around Spring 2008 (At least, I think the Japan release is then) Shonen Jump says it's a Wii-exclusive. Wikipedia ToS: Knight of Ratatosk

Yeah, but it's such a shame that none of the original TOS characters will be playable again.

XgbladerRyo What are you talking about? You can play as everyone from ToS! Have you ever seen the screenshot with collete? If not, check this out! Collete is the only confirmed one that you use. Lloyds the villain now and from the looks of it everybody cept Collete sided with him. I hate to say it but ToS KOR is shaping up to be the franchise saver of the series.

;o; That would suck if it were true. I hope not. I must admit I was a bit sketchy when looking at the main character against Lloyd since everyone just got so attached to him in TOS and it would be strange to take a liking to a new character that is against your old one. But it doesn't seem too bad and I haven't been dissapointed in a Tales game yet (because I didn't play any dissapointing ones XP) I heard Tales of the Tempest was bad though.

I personally liked Innocence. It had those Flex Range and Aerial movement battles system.

I'm not gonna get into why I disliked Innocence but Namco really needs to think of more original plots and less broken gameplay.

Daruki Am I the only one with the gut feeling that KpR will mutilate ToS? >___>;;; -Sees Vesperia as the Light, but then again wtf console hello!- Vesperia as the Light, >XD?! Ahahahaha, I don't think so. Vesperia, though looking "prett-eh" looks like generic stereotyped characters in some weird plot. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, since Abyss, I haven't trusted Namco at telling a brand new story.
Since Symphonia already existed as a story, they have less of a chance to suck. Not to mention, Destiny 2 was pretty coolz, so Knights could probably have the same effect.
...also consider that, ToS' plot like left, a billion holes to fix up. I think Namco got the idea that they needed to go, and y'know, FIX THOSE, rather than stare and go, "LOOK AT HOW GREAT THIS GAME WAS, =D!"
Buuuuuut~ That's only my take on it, hmmm~

They have a chick with ON GIANT Chakram like thing as weapon. They have a pipe-smoking dog.
I say it looks good. ):
...No. ToS was OVER. The PLOTHOLES that plagued the game were all, for the most part, PRE-GAME. After the Tree got planted the story is pretty much over, and following the generic code they give you a more or less vague idea of what happens to the characters.
Bah, I guess I'll sit tight and look up reviews once it comes out, Don't expect me to go askarjfaklh over ANYTHING in there, though; not even the returning characters.
