Behold the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM), today’s fastest growing carbohydrate-based religion. According to church founder Bobby Henderson, the universe and all life within it were created by a mystical and divine being: the Flying Spaghetti Monster. What drives the FSM’s devout followers, a.k.a. Pastafarians? Some say it’s the assuring touch from the FSM’s “noodly appendage.” Then there are those who love the worship service, which is conducted in pirate talk and attended by congregants in dashing buccaneer garb. Still others are drawn to the Church’s flimsy moral standards, religious holidays every Friday, or the fact that Pastafarian heaven is way cooler: Does your heaven have a Stripper Factory and a Beer Volcano? Intelligent Design has finally met its match–and it has nothing to do with apes or the Olive Garden of Eden.
Within these pages, Bobby Henderson outlines the true facts– dispelling such malicious myths as evolution (“only a theory”), science (“only a lot of theories”), and whether we’re really descended from apes (fact: Humans share 95 percent of their DNA with chimpanzees, but they share 99.9 percent with pirates!
Some have told me this is a REAL religon others say its just a stupid a** scientist commiting blasphomie
and being retarted comparing this to a real religon like Christianity

I don't actually believe in him and the religion, but for the purposes of discussion, I often call myself a Pastafarian simply because I like the point that Bobby Henderson was trying to make when he founded it.
Now, before you go accusing me of any religion bashing, let me point out that you yourself were pretty harsh on the Flying Spaghetti Monster (real or not) in your own post, and I am simply clarifying on a subject that you brought up.
Pastafarianism was created in response to a school board's decision to teach intelligent design along with the theory of evolution in schools. Bobby wrote a letter to the school board outlining Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, saying that if they were going to teach intelligent design, they would have to teach the multiple types of intelligent design, including the Flying Spaghetti Monster. The ridiculousness of Flying Spaghetti Monsterism, and saying that it is just as likely to be the truth as is standard intelligent design were to make a point that intelligent design was itself ridiculous, and should not be taught in schools.
I believe to take the religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster completely seriously, and not in the satirical manner in which it was created, would be to defeat its entire purpose.

Well I sure don't believe in putting down or talking negative about Jesus, the Bible or Christianity. I am a Christain and PROUD to be. However, I don't get into confrontations about what I believe. Whatever you believe in- rather it be monsters, Jesus or Evolution, is up to you. Some believe in UFO's and some don't. Who really knows. I just think people should be able to express what they think, but at the same time not bashing what someone else does believe.
I think all those who do bash Christianity will answer to the one and only God some day. But hey, just my opionion. I guess when it's our time to go we will know for sure whether Heaven and Hell are real. Me I chose to live my life as trying to get into Heaven. Personally if I didn't believe and died then found out it was all real, and there I was burning in hell...wow a wake up it would be. I just choose to belive and live my life working toward going to heaven....and guess what, when I die if it was not real then there was nothing lost. But would have still lived a life believing in something GREAT, AWESOME AND WONDERFUL. heart
I think that the things the world choses to teach has corrupted this world. That's why there is so much EVIL running RAPID. We have gotten away from what our founding fathers believed, and taught. So hey, all I can say, is eveyones eyes will be opened one day.
I really don't feel like getting into the things you all are talking about, but while reading your post I just had some thoughts of my own.....they may not be on your topic but just came to my mind and wanted to say it. see ya all around.
