She had been out for a while now, enjoying her freedom and time away... Why she had decided to return was completely beyond her. There were things back 'home'... Small things that made lots of noise; two brothers and another sister.
Snorting softly she shook her head, watching them from her quiet spot in the woods. The little ones had been running around soon. She knew that, soon enough, her father would call them in to rest for the night and then she could enjoy silence again.

Sulking, the orange and black mare trudged along, having nothing to do for the evening. She'd attempted to lurk around the rocky mountain a way's off, in case of spotting that fiery bird horse she'd met before, but he didn't seem to be anywhere in the vicinity.
So now she was stuck, with nothing to do, as usual. She'd head back to the 'ol cave, but Mom no doubt would pick at her for not eating enough, over eating, or whatever it was the mare had in for her daughters nowadays. And Dad... well, Daddy was busy with sons now. How could Kindle compete with that?
Snorting, she just smiled, knowing deep down inside she was one of a kind, and always would be. Now... if she could only find some mischeif.

She shook her head as she turned away, no longer interested in watching the 'happy family'. Now that they were otherwise occupied she ha freedom that she hadn't dreamed of before... And she liked it.
A soft smirk curving her own mouth she made her way back through the woods, tongues of flame dancing along her mane. All in all, she was in a rather good mood... And why wouldn't she be? It had been a good day, after all.

Stomping one hoof, an evil grin formed across her lips as she heard and smelled the sizzle of the grass beneath her wither away. She felt powerful with this fire. Strong. Nothing could tame her spirit OR her fire.
Feeling a burst of energy, her grin spread as she took off, dashing across the field as the fire beneath her crackled and burned brightly. A blur of flame, she cared for nothing at the moment but enjoying the wind whipping against her face and through her mane. What a day to enjoy!

She saw the flash out of the corner of her eye, brow lofting slightly as she picked her way through the dead branches and fallen leaves. As she emerged she scanned the plains for the source of the spark... And then she saw her.
A soft smirk curved her lips as she watched the mare run, recognizing her once she came closer. "Is that the best you can do, Kindle?"
