Every once in awhile I will check in the banners forum and replace the main banner, on the home page, with a new one. So if you want to have your day, make some good nerdy pictures. xd

I have been seeing that very few people have been on the sub-forum clans. So just a reminder that these are an easy way to find subjects to suit needs and wants. The hosts of these areas would appreciate the extra company. Thank you.

Okay, new banners for the home page are running thin, and instead of re-running old ones I'm going to make this into a kind of contest. Hopefully this will encourage the construction of new banners.
Every week (unless something goes horribly wrong.), I will shift out the home page banner for another banner in our 'vault'. The creator of the picture will receive 100 gold. It's not much, but it's every week, and hopefully more people will join in on the festivities.
For banners, please make them have correct grammar and spelling unless you're trying to make a point about something or someone. (And keep it within the Gaia Guidelines too.) Otherwise, go nuts!

WARNING! (This message is for crew and vice captains. So if you aren't either then you don't need to worry about it.)
The Creation of Sub Forums is not something to be taken lightly. It can affect a great many things that some may not realize. So please don't make one, speak with the crew and vice captains first, then once you've come to an agreement come to me for the final tweaking and okay. Then once I give you the okay then you may construct it. But until I give you permission don't, please don't make my job any harder. xp Thank you.

Just an FYI, if you want to have some say over the next clan/sub-forum constructed please go to the Debate Forum. There's a forum there completely dedicated to that subject. Make your voice be heard!

The final stage of setting up the UNC is complete. We have selected a fairly even base type of moderator-selection type...thing... One Captain, four Vice Captains, and four Crew. It has room for expansion if the guild grows to even larger heights. (hint, hint. xd ) So it's sort of like a Jedi, Dark Brother hood combo style of moderatoring... sweatdrop And since, all positions are full, posting and donating will not give you an instant officer's post. But it might help, if one of the officers begins to abuse his power. Then, the warned officer, might be removed and replaced by a better suited guildmember. So, keep the guild clean! Thank you very much.

Concerning the UNC banners makers, I have some more details to add to the weekly contest. The winnings are still 100 gold if you are selected, and anyone can still participate. But some people have been lagging on certain key factors, so here are the main rules of the banners.
>Must follow Gaia rules
>No inappropriate pics
>Proper grammar and spelling, unless making a point
>Please post the pic and under it the image code
>Keep it between 500x400
And other obvious signs of banner making. Now, if you do not comply I might still use a banner but if I have to looking up the image code it takes a lot more time for me to look it up...so please do it yourself. Please and Thank you.

A new clan has been founded, The Order of Odd Contests. At this new part of our guild, our contest-obsessed people can join or create any contest they please. Please make this new addition feel welcome. (lol.)

Another weekly activity has been formulated, the weekly poll. Every week, we will ask a new nerdy question for you to answer, if you wish. It's another way to get gold if you need it, and a good way to express your opinion. Have fun. smile

Okay, today I have two announcements, so bear with me.
First up, you're probably wondering: Why did the weekly poll go? Well, I've been rather busy and couldn't find an immediate replacement. So, if any of the officers or dedicated members wish to recreate the weekly poll, I would be much obliged.
Second, I would like the Guild Officers to go, at least once a day, and post in a dying thread, if at all possible. If you can't it's fine. But you get more gold if you do. I'm trying to get more people to post in some of the lesser forums and keep some of the rps from dying. Thank you for you cooperation.
See, was that so bad? You could get gold from posting and help me out at the same time! Convenient. xd

Okay, this announcement has to do with everyone, but especially the banner artists. So pay attention to this one please.
Okay, don't get upset, but I'm removing the prizes for new banner winner for the quality is getting lessened by each post...
Instead, during this next week, I'm going to set up a new thread with some of our better banners. Then we shall vote on them. Each person will be allowed to vote for four. And the winning four banners will be displayed on the guild entry page. The other banners will still be in their normal space and you are still free to make more, but they won't be switched in immediately. Because I shall recreate this event every once in awhile, so the entryway may change from time to time depending on which pictures we like the best at the moment.

We have updated the Free RPG. Now it has its own subforum. It has all the details to hopefully help some of our less active members know what's going on in the RPG.
Hopefully, it's a successful transition.

The FoRK: Followers of Random Knowledge, has been founded. It is a randomness clan and can contain anything that you wish. From private market places to just random statements you thought people would like to know. I believe many of our members will like it there.
As for the Free RP's transition, it has been successful. Therefore, the original on shall be removed from our rosters and be completely replaced by the sub-forum it has obtained.
