Bleach Zanpaku-to Guide

An Explanation of Terms:
Zanpaku-to, Shikai, Bankai Almost as important to the story of Bleach as Ichigo, Rukia, Aizen and the other characters are the swords that they carry; their zanpaku-to. Unlike other series' super-special attacks and weapons, the blades of Bleach are characters in and of themselves, with quirks and personalities of their own.

A zanpaku-to is the direct reflection of the power of its wielder, a shinigami's spiritual pressure given physical form. While they mostly look like any other katana an old-time samurai might carry around, zanpaku-to are far from normal. The foremost difference is the ability of zanpaku-to to harm shinigami. Since shinigami are really a kind of ghost, normal blades and weapons can't touch them. In fact, "zanpaku-to" literally means "soul cutting sword."

The other major point that separates them from plain ol' swords is a zanpaku-to's ability to transform. Each blade has up to three distinct forms which its wielder can acces according to their strength and skill. The first, and one that doesn't take any effort to attain, is the blade's normal form. With a few exceptions, a zanpaku-to's normal form is indistinguishable from that of a plain katana.

The second form is called "Shikai", or "first release". The key to Shikai is learning the zanpaku-to's name. Discovering it is not the easiest thing in the world; some Shinigami never do manage it. But for those that do, they gain a whole new level of power. Easily triggered by an incantation unique to each sword, a shikai zanpaku-to changes immensely, often becoming a weapon far removed from a sword. Also, shikai zanpaku-to usually have special powers a shinigami can use, such as poisons, illusions or power blasts.

"Bankai", the third form, means "all release". Only shinigami at the Captain's rank, or highly powerful Vice-Captains can acquire bankai. Increasing the zanpaku-to's power by as much as a factor of ten, it takes many decades of intense training to learn bankai (or three days of cheating courtesy of Urahara and Yoruichi. ^^) Triggering a zanpaku-to's bankai needs only a one-word incantation: Bankai.

Bankai zanpaku-to get additions to their names, indicating it is New and Special, and it changes even more drastically, usually (presently with only 1 exception) becoming something far, far larger than the wielder. They are also major amplifacations of the Shikai. A bankai might give the weilder many more projectiles, or the whole structure of an item, or the whole body of a zanpaku-to.

((this is a great example because it gives you an idea of how bankai, and shikai look. Also, Bankai, when you achieve it the weapon is generally many times larger then you. Ichigo and a few other are the only exceptions so far))

SHIKAI AND BANKAI REQUIREMENTS
Okay, let's not shoot around the serial killer here. We need to set up an organized system that is fair. We can't just have everyone goning around releasing their Ichigo based bankais all over the place. So, we set up some requirements. Here are the requirements for each release:

Shikai (Initial Release)- To achieve this, you must fight 15 hollow battles and win, not have a draw. If you somehow manage to beat something other than a hollow, like a Lieutenant, you will gain experince worth 2-3 wins. It all depends on how well you did. After that, you are able to go to their world for the 1st time and learn only their name. With this, their name must contribute something to the shikai. (It's appearance and/or it's unique power)

Bankai (Final Release)- To gain this, the true form of your Zanpaku-to, you must accumulate 30 wins. And when we say 30, we mean soemone of Captain-level, like an Arrancar or a Captain. Also, you must have a deep connection with your battling companion. To give an estimate, you must go to their word at least 10-15 times. You also must achieve the special ablity of their shikai. and fully understand it. (Example: Ichigo learned the special power and the name of the attack Zangetsu had while training to achieve bankai.) Regular hollow battles count for 1/8 of a win, and battles count for 1/2 of a win.

Yes, I know. It's tedious and annoying, but bankai takes someone with 100's of years of battle eperince to train and ahieve it in 10 years. And shikai doesn't come naturally. Also, this might give some of you rping experience.

And let's be reasonable here. I posted the lieutenant thing because that question is going to be the 2nd post. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT CHALENGE A LIEUTENANT FOR NO APPARENT REASON! YOU ALL WORK FOR THE PEACE OF SEIREITEI! UNLESS YOU REALLY HAVE A BLADE OUT FOR THEM, DO NOT CHALLENGE THEM! IF YOUR ARE FOUND OUT DOING THIS, YOU WILL LOSE 2 WINS WORTH OF EXP!

Update: In order to master one's bankai, you must defeat 30 people of Captain-level. You may use your bankai before this, but you must have 30 wins to use it to it's full potential. You might learn it's true special ability halfway, or gain a more powerful attack.

There is one upside: you will be able to use your shikai much better than before. (Example: You might learn the name of an attack, or make more of small blades, etc.) Remember, you have gained a more powerful shikai, but don't make it godly.

Menos Grande will start to appear, along with hollows. Menos Grande are somewhere around Lieutenant-level. They shall count as 2 wins towards the shikai release and 1/2 a battle for the bankai relase and training.

Captains and squad members are able to spar with each other. The member will get exp, depending on how well the captains has rated you. Please captains, don't unleash your Zanpaku-to. You may draw your sword, but try to keep your Zanpaku-to hidden.

Third to Eighth seats are able to use Shikai. 3rd-5th seats have techniques for their shikai, and 6th-8th have just learned.

Special Rules
-If you are a captain, but your bankai hasn't been revealed in the anime or manga, you may make up your own. But, it must be an amplifacation of your shikai. And when it is revealed, you must change it.

-If you a lieutenant, or non-captain with importance, and your bankai has been revealed, you are allowed to use it.

-Lieutenants start out in learning bankai. You may use your shikai. When you have enough battles to learn bankai, you may make it up for the moment.

-Like captains, vizards may make up releases. They also must be changed when they are revealed.

-Ichigo will start out with a bankai. But, you cannot go on to the bankai mastering stage untill it has been revealed in either the anime or manga.

Rules of Fighting
1) There are 4 types of fights :
-Sparring: a Friendly match between 2 or more people.
-Regular fight: an argument breaks out or someone challanges you to see who is better.
-Battle to the death: The winner is the one that survives.
-Hollow battles: Soul slayer or warrior kills hollows.

2)You must be able to identify which type of battle your doing so you and everyone else doesnt get confused.

3)Besides hollow battles, if your going to fight you must let the person you are challanging, acknowledge and accept before jumping in and doing battle.
((if its a death match then a mod must be present to judge and reff))

If the mods decide on a winner then the winner is allowed to write a finishing post which would involve the very end of the fight.

Fighter Rank/ Rule about Fatigue
In order to make this guild a little more entertaining I thought I'd make a rule about Fatigue. I will break it down to diffrent levels of fatigue and how it effects you. To start off there will be 4 types of fighters, D-class, C-class, B-class, And A-class. I will now explain the classes:

D-Class : This consists of weak fighters: Low-level shinigami, humans, and weak hollows, Substitue shinigami. ((When I say Human, i mean a regular human with no special powers.))

C-Class : this consists of Mid level fighers: Normal members of the Gotei 13, Mid- strength hollows, Weak Arancarrs, Weak Vaizards, ect.

B-Class: Luitenents, Numeros, Average Bount ((non origional characters)), Strong hollow, Average Vaizard ((non origional characters)), Ishida, Chad, Orohime, Mod Souls, ect. (( Eventually Ishida, Chad, and Orohime will become A:Class))

A-class: Captains, Ex Captains ((Urahara, Isshin, Yoruichi)), Espada's, Evil shinigami ((Aizen, Tousen, Gin only)), Powerful Vaizards, Strong Bouts, Menos Grande, Ichigo, ect.

Your class directlly Directlly effects the amount of turns you can endure in battle. The higher your class, the more posts you can make before you are fatigued. Here is a chart that explains how long you can last:

D-Class: 5 posts Until your fatigued -Since this is the weakest class, it only naturally makes sence for these guys to not be able to last long in a fight.

C-Class 10 posts - After the first five posts your character becomes tired and is a little sluggish, after the last five posts they have reached the point of exhaustion and are now fatigued. These guys are able to really tap into thier reitsu, so they can last longer.

B-Class 15 posts - After five posts they break a sweat, thier proformence hardly decreses. After 10 posts your character becomes tired and is a little sluggish. After the 15th post you are exhausted and can no longer battle. These guys are experienced fighters, they can last for a long time in battle.

A-Class 20 posts - After 10 post you break a sweat, Proformence is barely effected. After 15 posts,your character becomes tired and is a little sluggish. After 20 posts, you are exhausted and can no longer battle. This is the supreme class, whose energy is almost boundless.

Once you reach the level of Fatigue you CANNOT battle any further, you can run away, beg for mercy, call it a draw, or just sit there and take your punishment from your opponent.

If you look at it by a logical stand-point it make sence. I mean most Battles dont ever exceed 20 posts. Plus logically, the more powerful you are the longer you should be able to last in battle. Plus with such a limited amount of posts, you'll just have to try your hardest as an RPer to defeat your oponent before your tired.

Also, If you fight someone of a higher class then you, the you will be ranked at that class level.

Demon arts: Shinigami's & Vizard's only

Demon Arts

Demon arts are spells used by shinigami to do various things such as binding, attacking, and healing. Only upper level shinigami can use them after sufficient training. There are two types of Demon Arts: Bakudou ("binding spell") and Hadou ("blast spell"). Demon Arts are classified by power and difficulty of casting in a numbering scheme from 1 through 99, with power and difficulty increasing with the number. If a shinigami masters demon arts, they will gain the ability to bypass the incantation while casting spells.

Known Demon Arts: (current as of 9/05/08 )

Bakudou:
1. Sai (塞, Restrain) Locks a target's arms in place behind their back. Incantation: unknown.

4. Hainawa (這縄, Crawling Rope) An energy rope entangles the target's arms. Incantation: unknown.

8. Seki (斥, Repulse) Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it. Incantation: unknown.

9. Geki (撃, Strike) Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them. Incantation: "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!" ("自壊せよロンダニーニの黒犬!! 一読し・焼き払い・自ら喉を掻き切るがいい!")

21. Sekienton (赤煙遁, Red Smoke Escape) Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb. Incantation: unknown.

26. Kyakko (曲光, Curving Light) Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object. Incantation: unknown.

30. Shitotsu Sansen (嘴突三閃, Beak-Stab Triple Beam) Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of a perfect triangle. Incantation: unknown.

37. Tsuriboshi (吊星, Suspending Star) Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net. Incantation: unknown.

39. Enkosen (円閘扇, Arc Shield) Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks. Incantation: unknown.

58. Kakushitsuijaku (摑趾追雀, Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows) Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on. To activate it, the user must draw a circle on the ground, cut into four parts with a specific character in each. The incantation animates the circle, causing various numbers to appear within until the specific set is found. The number set seems to be a variation on longitude and latitude. Incantation: "Heart of the south, eye of the north, finger of the west, foot of the east, arrive with the wind and depart with the rain." ("南の心臓 北の瞳 西の指先 東の踵 風持ちて 集い雨払いて散れ")

61. Rikujōkōrō (六杖光牢, Six Rods Prison of Light) Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams. Incantation: "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six!" ("雷鳴の馬車 糸車の間隙 光もて此を六に別つ!")

62. Hyapporankan (百歩欄干, Hundred Steps Fence) A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile. Incantation: unknown

63. Sajo Sabaku (鎖条鎖縛, Locking Bondage Stripes) Binds the arms of a target. According to Hachigen Ushōda, physical strength alone should not be enough to break out of a level 60 Bakudō, however Kensei Muguruma was able to free himself from this Kidō while in his Hollow form. Incantation: unknown.

73. Tozanshō (落下クリスタルマウンテン, Falling Mountain Crystal) Creates an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster. Incantation: unknown.

75. Gochūtekkan (五柱鉄貫, Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars) Summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars which are connected to each other by chains to pin a target to the ground. Incantation: "Walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Standing upright, silent to the end." ("鉄砂の壁、僧形の塔、灼鉄熒熒、湛然として終に音無し wink

77. Tenteikūra (天挺空羅, Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air) Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster. Incantation: "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens." ("黒白の羅!二十二の橋梁 六十六の冠帯 足跡・遠雷・尖峰・回地・夜伏・雲海・蒼い隊列 太円に満ちて天を挺れはし)

81. Danku (斷空, Splitting Void) Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89. This is seen also when Aizen uses it to block Tessai's Hadō #88. Incantation: unknown; although Tessai hinted that it has an incantation when he fights Aizen.

99, Part 1. Kin (禁, Seal) Binds the arms of a target to their back like Bakudō #1, but with spiritual fabric and iron shafts. Hachigen has displayed a far stronger version that ties the target's arms on the back in addition to wrapping the spiritual fabric around the entire body, and continues to pin the target with the spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target with several iron shafts in an "X" shape. Incantation: unknown; although (Shinji Hirako hinted that there is an incantation).

99, Part 2. Bankin (卍禁, Great seal) This spell covers the target from head to toe with spiritual fabric (First Song), stabs them with numerous metal bolts (Second Song), and then smashes them with an immense metal cube (Final Song). The full power of the seal is still unknown as Ichigo broke the first two seals before the metal cube landed on him during his Shattered Shaft training. Incantation: First Song: Halting Fabric (初曲・止繃, Shokyoku: Shiryū). Second Song: Hundred Linked Bolts (弐曲・百連閂, Nikyoku: Hyakurensan). Final Song: Great Seal of 10,000 Forbiddings (終曲・卍禁太封, Shūkyoku: Bankin Taihō).


Hadou:
1. Shō (衝, Thrust) Pushes the target away from the caster. Incantation: unknown.

4. Byakurai (白雷, Pale Lightning) The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger. Rukia Kuchiki and Byakuya Kuchiki both used this spell and rarely other Shinigami as well. Incantation: unknown.
11. Tsuzuri Raiden (製本雷, Bound Lightning) Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. Incantation: unknown

31. Shakkahō (赤火砲, Shot of Red Fire) Fires a ball of red energy at a target. Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!" ("君臨者よ!血雨の仮面·万象·羽ばたき·ヒトの名を冠す者よ!焦熱と争乱、海隔て逆巻き南へと歩を進めよ!")

33. Sōkatsui (蒼火墜, Blue Fire, Crash Down) Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power. Another version of this spell has been seen in "Bleach : Heat the Soul 5", used by Byakuya, that sends a kind of pink colored attack to the opponent, that looks really like his zanpakutō; however, we hear Byakuya saying "Sōkatsui" (even if it sound somehow like that "Sōkatsuki") Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws." ("君臨者よ!血肉の仮面·万象·羽ばたき·ヒトの名を冠する者よ!真理と節制、罪知らぬ夢の壁に僅かに爪を立てよ!")

54. Haien (廃炎, Abolishing Flames) Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact. Incantation: unknown.

58. Tenran (闐嵐, Orchid Sky) A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target. Incantation: unknown

63. Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Cannon) Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target. Incantation: "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" ("散在する獣の骨!尖塔・紅晶・鋼鉄の車輪 動けば風 止まれば空 槍打つ音色が虚城に満ちる!")

63. Sōren Sōkatsui (双蓮蒼火墜, Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) Essentially a doubled version of #33 (labeled as #73 in anime), this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety. Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens." ("君臨者よ!血肉の仮面・万象・羽ばたき・ヒトの名を冠す者よ!蒼火の壁に双蓮を刻む 大火の淵を遠天にて待つ")

88. Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (飛竜撃賊震天雷砲, Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon) Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy resulting in an truly enormous explosion. Its full strength is however unknown since Aizen used Splitting Void before it could hit him. Incantation: unknown.

90. Kurohitsugi (黒棺, Black Coffin) Forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition. Incantation: unknown.


Other classes of Demon Arts:
Hakufuku ("White Prostration"): Causes a target to lose consciousness.

Kyoumon ("Mirror Gate"): A high class barrier that reflects attacks from the outside. However, it is easy to break from the inside.

Connection to the Shiba Family:
Kakaku Shahou Niban Kagizaki ("Crane Flower Archery 2nd style: Adhereing Blossom"): A two-part incantation spell. The initial spell controls the launch and its direction, then continuation spell is used to adjust the acceleration and axial position.

Initial Spell Incantation: Yonder, brown avarice covet control of the 36 directions. 72 pairs of illusions, 13 pairs of hunting horns, the right hand of a monkey grasps the star. Embraced by the sun of 25 rings, the cradle of the sand gives forth blood.

Continuation Spell Incantation: Fate of the three sparrows, bond of the four dragons, obstructing the five directions, return to the six villages. Heavenly wind, orangutan, spoon, cane of elm, a thousand ashes, a thousand wisdoms, the measure of white clouds, tread not on the scarlet light that embraces the moon...

Other:

The demon art called "flash steps" (?? shunpo) corresponds to a "haste" or "boost" skill, allowing a shinigami to move his body within a certain distance at super-speed. Yoruichi Shihouin, the former Covert Ops commander, holds the title of "Goddess of Flash", "Flash Master" in the Viz Translation, ( ?? shunshin) due to her mastery of the skill to the point of appearing to be in multiple places at once. It is speculated (based on the anime) that this art works in combination with foot combat (hohō).

Destructive arts: Quincy's only

Known Destructive Arts:
Destructive Art #4 - A spell that uses spiritons to form an arrow shot out, for the bow of a Quincy.


Quincy's moves
#
Hirenkyaku (飛簾脚) (Flying Screen Step - Also translated as Flying God Step) - A high level Quincy technique analogous to 'shunpo' (shinigami) or 'sonido' (arrancar.) By manipulating gathered spiritual particles under their feet, the user can ride the platform of energy to a desired location, or even ride the platform for long periods of time enabling the ability of flight. Mayuri Kurotsuchi complimented Uryū Ishida on being able to use this technique at such a young age.

Ransōtengai (乱装天傀) (Heavenly Wild Puppet Suit) - a high level technique allowing the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain. By using this technique, they are able to control their body as one would a puppet. It was originally created to allow old Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough that Mayuri Kurotsuchi had never encountered a Quincy (out of the 2661 that he examined or studied) who could use it. Uryū Ishida is a known user of this technique, which he utilized to continue fighting when his nerves were 'paralyzed' by Kurotsuchi's weapon.

# Final Form - not really a technique, this is actually a last resort move performed by removing the sanrei gloves. By removing the heavy spiritual restriction the gloves place on them, the Quincy will gain an incredible amount of power. It is somewhat comparable to the zanpakutō final release (bankai), but it can normally only be done once, seeing that the Quincy will lose their powers shortly afterwards due to burnou

Quincy bangle (装身具, Quincy bangle?) - Introduced in the anime's Bount arc, the Quincy Bangle is an artifact designed to mimic a Quincy's natural powers. It works by drawing in spiritrons from the environment, much like a Quincy does regularly. It can only be used properly by those who are already adept at forming and directing spirit particles. When activated, it forms a metal bow on the user's hand and gives them an appropriate Quincy outfit to match. The bangle is an unstable and delicate device, which eventually falls apart with extended use.[2] It also functions somewhat erratically in comparison with a natural Quincy bow, even with proper training. At some times its attacks are so weak that they are unlikely to cause injury, while at other times it is powerful enough to destroy large portions of a building. The arrows also seem to fire erratically, sometimes curving away from their intended target. Furthermore, if shot at the time when the device is at its maximum power, it could explode, killing the user and destroying anything else nearby. Uryū was able to bypass most of these problems by using the bow to focus his own suppressed powers, rather than relying on it to draw in spirit particles for him.

# Quincy cross (滅却十字, mekkyaku jūji?)[3] - Standard equipment for any Quincy, the Quincy Cross acts as the focus for a Quincy bow. The cross need not necessarily be in a cross shape, as Ryūken's cross is a pentacle.

# Sanrei glove (散霊手套, sanrei shutō?) - The sanrei gloves are a powerful Quincy artifact that can increase a Quincy's power exponentially, but require difficult and dangerous training (wearing them for a week while constantly firing spiritual arrows) to master. The glove works by scattering the spirit particles in the surrounding area. If a Quincy can summon a bow and hold it for the required amount of time, they will experience a massive increase in power.

# Seele Schneider (魂を切り裂くもの, Seele Schneider? lit. that which slits the soul; German for "soul cutter") - The Seele Schneider is a portable arrow that doubles as a sword in melee combat. It's much longer than a standard arrow and functions something like a chainsaw: the spirit particles of its blade vibrate at ultra-high frequencies, loosening the molecular bonds between any spirit matter it cuts so that the Quincy user may easily absorb the freed spirit particles. The Seele Schneider Uryū uses is stolen from a secret storage room under Karakura hospital.

# Silver tubes (銀筒, gintō?) - Silver tubes are portable tubes that store spiritual energy. They are basically tangible versions of shinigami demon arts spells, as they are activated by calling out various commands.[4]
# Soul-synthesized silver (霊化銀, reika gin?) - Soul-synthesized silver was used by Ryūken Ishida to construct the hidden chamber where Uryū trains in.

# Soul-synthesized glass (霊化硝子 reika gurasu) - Like soul-synthesized silver, soul-synthesized glass was used to construct the hidden chamber in the Karakura Hospital

Silver tube techniques

A list of techniques that utilize silver tubes (gintō):

* Haizen (聖噬)
Incantation: Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice - Sacred Bite!
Creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from four silver tubes which slices through the opponent.[6]

* Gritz (五架縛 Gurittsu)
Incantation: A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed - Quintuple Restraining Frames!
Utilises a silver tube to form a man-sized pentacle symbol which envelops its target.[7]

* Volcore (緑杯 Vorukōru)
Incantation: Tilt the goblet to the west - Emerald Grail!
Uses a silver tube to create a large blast which Ishida uses to cushions impacts. The exact effect is unknown.

Shyunshin Yoruichi (God of Shyunpo)
(( the one that Shunsui used to bring the unmoveable Nanao from the presence of Yamamoto))
A very high level shyunpa. Allows user/shinigami to "warp" themselves much further than that of just a basic Shyunpa spell/technique. This requires the user to train much harder and longer, as well as be much more powerful than if he was just able to use the basic Shyunpa spell(s)

The demon art called "flash steps" (瞬歩 shunpo) corresponds to a "haste" or "boost" skill, allowing a shinigami to move his body within a certain distance at super-speed. Yoruichi Shihouin, the former Covert Ops commander, holds the title of "Goddess of Flash", "Flash Master" in the Viz Translation, (瞬神 shunshin) due to her mastery of the skill to the point of appearing to be in multiple places at once. It is speculated (based on the anime) that this art works in combination with foot combat (hohō).

Like the shinigami, the hollows have a multitude of combat skills and abilities. They usually acquire energy to power their abilities by devouring souls, but can also ingest energy from the air when in spiritual realms such as Hueco Mundo.

* Cero (虚閃, lit. translation is "hollow flash," pronunciation is Spanish for zero) is a high powered energy blast that can be fired from the mouth, or hand. Only menos, arrancar and vizard have so far been shown to use cero, and it appears that higher classes of hollow can use it more efficiently. It is unknown whether sufficiently strong regular hollows are capable of it, but when Ichigo Kurosaki's inner hollow fully took over he almost shot a cero of his own before Ichigo regained control of his body.

* Negación (反膜, lit. translation "counter membrane," pronunciation is Spanish for negation) is used to rescue fellow hollows. It has so far only been used by the gillian class. A beam of light encases the hollow's comrades and seals them off from the dimension they are in. They then float back to safety in another dimension.

* Gonzui (魂吸) is a technique applied by Yammy to suck the souls from a large number of living people. Those with above average energy are able to survive despite being weakened.

* Pesquisa (探査回路, lit. translation "inquiry circuit," pronunciation is Spanish for search) is an arrancar technique used to sense spiritual pressure.

* Hierro (鋼皮, lit. translation "steel skin," pronunciation is Spanish for iron) refers to the ultratough skin of the arrancar; while very strong, it is by no means invincible.

* Sonido (響転, lit. translation "resounding revolution," (or in kanj called "Echo movment)"pronunciation is Spanish for sound) is the arrancar equivalent of the shinigami shunpō or Quincy hirenkyaku; it allows the user to travel at incredibly high speeds.

* Bala (虚弾, lit. translation "hollow bullet," pronunciation is Spanish for bullet) is an arrancar technique in which the user hardens his spiritual pressure and fires it at around 20 times the speed of a cero blast. It is not quite as strong as a cero, however.

* Garganta (黒腔, lit. translation "black cavity," pronunciation is Spanish for throat) is a technique used by the arrancar to travel between Hueco Mundo and other dimensions. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.

*Gran Reg Cero ( Flash of the Hollow King or Cero of the Great Hollow King ) Only Espada level arrancar can do this and only certain Vizards(have to get approved by Ike of Strife) know how to do this move(if your a Vizard that are lieutenant
/Captain level and want to learn this move along with (shunpo/echo movement mixure)then Adam Strife can train you for ur second inner battle only afterwards can you use this. I SAY NO Hollow/Meno's,arrancar(except Vast Lord's and Espada) , Shinigami's or Vizard I have not given permission to CAN'T DO THIS MOVE OR YOU WELL BE BANNED.

wahmbulance Substitute Shinigami
- Unlike ordinary shinigamis, substitutes remain alive and live normally in the living realm. Their task is similar to that of shinigamis in the living realm, as they have been given authority by Soul Society to do so.

wahmbulance Quincy
- Humans specially trained to destroy hollows, completely destroying their souls without any chance of a second life. Their weapon of choice is the bow, using spiritual energy from the surroundings to create their arrows. They have been thought to have been wiped out by the shinigami a long time ago.
Note: To people who want to roleplay quincies, keep your population low. You were formerly wiped-out, remember?

wahmbulance Vizards
-An organization of people with half shinigami and half hollow powers, but more in tune with their shinigami side. They are not affiliated with either Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. They dress like the people of the living realm and live among themselves. To invoke their hollow side by calling out their hollow masks, giving them more power. But they can not wear their mask a long time because their hollow side might take over them.
ex: Kurosaki Ichigo (although he chose not to join the organization), Hirako Shinji, Sarugaki Hiyori

wahmbulance People with Special Abilities
- Some people in the living realm have the ability to see ghosts and hollows and some were gifted with the power to protect people from hollows. Their powers are unique, depending on the individual itself.
ex: Don Kannonji, Inoue Orihime, Sado Yasutora



Soul Society

wahmbulance Plus Souls
- Souls of relatively good people who have been taken to soul society. They are grouped into 80 sectors, the last sector farthest to the Court of Pure Souls (SeiReiTei) than the first. The further sectors are more violent and crime-ridden than the nearer sectors. They are to live 60 years in Soul Society before they can be reborn or they can go to a shinigami school and become a shinigami.
ex: Shiba Ganjyu, Shibata Yuuchi

wahmbulance Nobles
- Souls that were born and raised in Soul Society itself. There are four high noble families in Soul Society (the Kuchiki and the Shihouin family being two, the Shiba family being a former high noble family) and more lesser noble families that serve under the high nobles (like the Kira and SoiFong's families). It is easier for nobles to get high ranks as a shinigami.
ex: Kuchiki Byakuya, Shihouin Yoruichi (high nobles), Kira Izuru, Soi Fong (low nobles)

wahmbulance Shinigami
- They are assigned to keep order between the living souls and the dead souls. *to be continued*

A did some research on Zanpaku-to's and discovered something interesting, it enspired this event. I found out that Tousen's Zanpaku-to belonged to a friend of his who died. He recieved it and was able to bring it all the way up to it's Bankai... in other words... you can master swords that arent yours.

Today is April 1st and the event will last until april 8th. If you can Kill a shinigami in this guild, you can have thier Zanpaku-to, and you'll be able to use it at the current level it's at (Example... I kill Toshiro and take his sword... I'd be able to use it's shikai and bankai becuase it's already mastered) This event applies to EVERYONE, good or evil, shingami or human, if you defeat your enemy you have there sword. Humans... use this as an advntage to get shinigami powers, hollows, here's your chance to become arrancar, shingami by doing this evil deed you are one step away from being a vaizard... Everyone gains from this event ((except those who die)).

Here are the rules:
-All fights are one on one
-Everyone is a target, including captains ((in addition you can take the Zanpaku-to's from Vaizard and Arrancarr, but you'll become that))
-No cheating, if you cheat or godmod, you'll be disqualified
-No whining, you can always come back for revenge
-You can only kill one person during this event... so choose your target wisely
-if you are killed, you have the option of making a new character and killing the person that killed you and take both weapons... or finding a new target and gain some new powers.

Regarding squad positions.

form now on you have to earn ur seat. if you want a higher rank you can battle the current owner for it new people have to earn empty seats and hold that seat for at least 100 posts bfore they can battle for higher ranking unless specifically requested by a captain or a higher seat needs to be filled. if in the event two membes want the same seat they will battle for it. thx ~~charm3d...and trying to bring more order.
