Okay, I'm looking to buy some more PS2 games next week, but I don't know what to buy. I'll play any game, but I'm mostly interested in adventure, 1st person shooter, and rpg games. Any suggestions?

Hmm.. Well Resident Evil is good. Devil May Cry, even though its a 3rd person but I don't think that really matters, lol. As for RPG's, I won't even mention Final Fantasy cause everyone will say that, lol. La Pucelle Tactics is fun, its alot the Final Fantasy Tactics. It may be hard to find. I saw it like once at Gamestop and that's when I bought it. sweatdrop Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, the Xenosaga series, well only if you can stand puzzles. Its chalked full of them. Great storyline if you can get through it, lol. Can't help with FPS. Don't play em on PS2. Hope I helped a little.

Besides what the person who posted before me put Kingdom Hearts. My favorite Final Fantasy for playstation2 is X. If you can get your hands on Final Fantasy VII you'll probably really like that even though it's for playstation it's amazing.

Final fantasy, I love it except the 1rst one. Kingdom hearts is great. and if you like stuff like that and want a list just message me;D

.hack, xenosaga, guilty gear, disgaea, warriors orochi, atlier iris are all great games

I'd be saying go for BloodRayne. i've played them both and there both good and well the second one is better though. it's way better then the first one. you can really control rayne better and the new powers and the boss battles are very well made. that's if your into Half-Vampires that are trained assasins that are out for revenge on there father and fathers family?
but what am i sayng you might not buy it though.

I'd say Okami. It's so much fun! I don't know if you're into music games at all, but if you are (and if you can find it) Guitaroo Man would be a great buy. Another vote of mine goes to Guitar Hero (any of them, really). Another game that went pretty much unheard of is called Gun Grave. It's a 3rd person shooter instead of 1st, but it's still a blast. I think the 1st Gun Grave is better than the 2nd one, but the 2nd one is still good, too. 3nodding

Ah, my favorite platform since the Sega...my specialty.
Everyone will say the big ones, so I'll try and give some lesser knowns:
RAD (Robot Alchemic Drive): you drive a big robot in Japan...but you still control a stereotypical anime person...simultaniously! This game rocks.
PaRappa the Rapper 2: stupid, yes. But if there is one game I credit on how I got familiar with the PS controller, this is it.
Ico: puzzle game...such fun and a great atmosphere.
Shadow of the Colussus: one of my favorite games ever...nuff said.
Jak and Daxter: a must have. All your platforming/adventure needs met here. I've played through this at least ten times.
We heart Katamari: for Katamari Damacy fans, yes. A crazy concept, sooooo much fun.
YuGiOh: Duelist of the Roses: now I'm no YuGiOh fan...but this game is so much fun. It's way different from how the real game is played I'm told, and it is so much like a 10x upgraded chess...I love it.
Destroy All Humans (and DAH 2): the first one is better, but there is nothing more fun than destroying humanity.
Phychonauts: ultimate platforming and adventure with excellent comedy involved. This one kinda slipped under the radar as far as sales go, but don't let that fool ya...trust me.
Okami: so much fun! You want adventure? Right here. Beautiful game.
Bully: juvenile crime? Beating up nerds? I love this game too. It becomes so limitless.
Spiderman 2: If superheroes are your thing, pick this one up, sure there's a storyline, but the fun part is just roming around having fun.
Champions: Return to Arms: made by Blizzard and fun to play with a friend, this game is hack and slash, but with warriors, beasts, and shiney axes....
Dark Cloud (1& 2): a great RPG with diverse characters and the ability to build worlds. One has a little better plot, but two has so much more to do than just build worlds.
Eyetoy: the precurser to the Wii, in eyetoy and its many expansions, you are the controller with the aid of a litte camera. Just make sure you have a white wall to play in front of or a very lighted room.
Jedi Starfighter: a good game that slipped under the radar. The most fun to play with a friend. (yer flying a starfighter from 1st person view, soo fun.)
Fighting Games: don't know if you're into em...I am. Good ones: Tekken 5, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Soul Caliber 2&3, Bloody Roar 3 (don't get 4, it sucks majorly), DBZ Budokai 3 (the best in my opinion), Naruto Ultimate Ninja 2 (pretty good acutally), Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
FPS: about the only FPS's that're any good on the PS2 are WWII games. The Call of Duty Series is good. Other than that, I'd just suggest Resident Evil 4 or Star Wars Battle front 1 or 2.

I enjoy the following FPSs myself: Project Snowblind, Killzone, Black. In that order.
As for Adventure games: Okami, Ico, Shadow of the Colosuss, Psychonauts, God of War
RPG: Grandia 2, Dark Cloud 1 & 2, FF10 & 12, KH 1 & 2
Most of those should be $20 or less.
