Story:
The town of Acaia was established in 1980, making the town geniunely new and they don't get many visitors. Besides certain supplies that they recieve such as food,clothing, and their local news, they're almost cut off from the rest of the world. On one side are mountains that have yet to be dug into, the other a large lake, on the east is large forest which a little ways into is a boggy swamp. Being nowhere near any great attractions and the town being out of the way to reach, tourist were a rarity. This made the town the prime cantidate for a certain test. It was 1989 and a new drug was introduced to the town and soon filled the pharmacy shelves, It claimed it could heal any ailment and after a select few tried it everyone was suprised it worked, This miracle drug was called Quandernex, and you had to be at least 18 to take it.. Soon it was hard to keep the drug on the shelves. The people soon became addicted to it, taking it for even the slight pin p***k of pain. Few noticed the addicting affects the drug actually had at first. It was 10 years before the people finally came to their senses and turned against the drug. The banned Quandernex and all it's supplements from the town, and in another 4 years the town was completely free of the company and their addicting drug. Or so they thought...
Quandernex had no side affects, at least none on the people who took the drug. Once the drug entered the body, it numbed the pain completely but altered the people's genes that would be passed on to the next generation. The children who were born when the drug was first introduced showed the first signs, after ridding themselves of the miracle drug they were faced with a second problem their children.Some changes in the kids were very subtle and were hidden from their parents while others were greatly diverse, they labeled the children with multiple defects or pschyatric problem, while some people just called them defective. Good news was that not all the children were affected by the drug, some are as normal as they possibly could be. Bad news most parents wouldn't know whether their child was altered until they reached they age of about 12 or 13 years old, whenever puberty took affect. But some children showed early signs around 7 or 8.
Members of the Quandernex team still reside in the town, watching over their most recent experiment, and so far it was going all according to plan. They began opening clinics around town, so parents could bring their children for inspection. They would do a blood test, if the child was normal they'd tell the parent and let them be on their way. If the child was infected, so to say, they'd be taken for further study, their records destroyed, and their presence in the town wiped clean with a trace or memory of the child every existing. But what do the Quandernex people want with the kids and why did they do this?
Plot:
With the kid's population in the town diminishing almost everyday, some kids fear for what will happen, other have banned together and formed different orginizations, some kids are without a home, and others are being forced one by one to go to the clinics, some of which might never return. Most kids however try to get by in their normal lifestyles, they continuing going to school and hanging out with friends.
One kid's orginization that is rather threatening to the Quandernex plans is a group who call themselves, The Strangers. No one knows who exactly started the strangers. They have no established leader. But they have a base of operations uknown to the Quandernex. If kids have been exiled from their homes they're welcome to stay in the Strangers' base. This keeps the kids off the streets and out of danger. The Strangers' also have their older members help their younger members keep their abilities quiet and secret. The older members have an idea of what's happening to the kids in town and have developed away to evade the mind wipe, they know when a child goes missing, now it's a matter of staying hidden amongst the crowds. The Strangers' just might be in over their heads

Personality: Incredibly wrathful for his age, he would like nothing better than to cause chaos for the ones responsible for his problems. He tends to stay quiet, but gets very loud when he's angry. He actually prefers his actual form, but his eyes change on their own when he's angry. Travis subconsciously changes his personality around certain people.
Bio: Travis didn't gain his powers until he was nine. Before then he was a normal kid who got picked on a little bit for supposedly being a poser. When he discovered his power, he learned that just because he had the power of transformation didn't mean he could only turn into other people or animals, but he could also manipulate his body to do other things as long as it wasn't to hard to do (i.e., turn his skin to stone). Travis then learned how to strengthen his bones and muscles without training or special nutrition. He was picked up by the Strangers quickly after he gave a surprise beating to his bullies. They taught him about what caused his problems.

Personality: All together Caden is a pretty outgoing person, but she knows when to be serious when it comes to work. Caden is clever and knows a lot about the base, it's security, design, and technology, she'd been living there for more than half her life. Caden is always willing to help anyone who needs it and she has her own personal thing against Quandernex. Caden is a wiz when it comes to technology and she normally accompanies crews on reconnisance missions, but mostly she stays at the base in fear of being recognized. Caden says she'd like to get the Quandernex people, but she doesn't really have the heart to hurt anyone.
Bio: The trouble in her life began even before she was born when her father chose to marry a Quandernex employee and from that marriage, Caden was born. Her birth name was Erin Elise Varteni but she changed it later on. After her birth all Quandernex employees were asked to leave the town, but her mother stayed after all now she had daughter and family in the town and a reason to stay. Caden's life style wasn't too odd but then again it wasn't normal either. Most of her childhood she felt like a human pin cushion, from all the blood tests she had been given. Then things started to get weird, so much so that the Quandernex people started moving back into the town. Her mother started taking a greater interest with the blood test, so much so that Erin often felt dizzy from blood loss. At the age of 7 her father died, they said he committed suicide but that never sat very well with Erin. Over the next year, she started to feel like she was always being watched, but most of the time she was bed ridden from illness mostly do to lack of blood or all the shots she'd been given. The days she went out were scarce but upon turning 8 she was kidnapped or more so rescued by an early resistance team, she never saw their faces, but they dropped her off in the woods and led her to the underground cavern where other children like herself were staying. She was scared at first but within a year or so everything had been explained to her and the girl now known as Caden B. Gram started coming into her powers. Over the next few years she practiced using her skills and began helping out with the technical equipment around the base. She accepted this place as her home and the other strangers her family. She was 15 years old before she actually left the cave, for the first time sine she arrived. Everyone thought it to be risky if people saw her face, so they tried to keep her cooped up in the cavern. Finally she started running her first recon missions with a group and was permitted to go into town once the sun had set making it difficult to see her face.

Personality: Although Marrian is very cautious, she is also very empathatic towards others. She is good at keeping her head in rough situations and has a high sense of altruism. She has a good sense of humor and is fairly easy to get along with when you get to know her.
Bio: Marrian's powers showed themselves at a young age, and she was taken to be studied in a lab at the age of 8. Terrified, she escaped on the way to the lab and lived on the streets, using her talents to steal to survive, until the Strangers found her at the age of 12. She happily joined with them and has been there ever since.
Other: She is something of an ameture ventriloquist, and can throw her voice.

Personality: The woman is always scheming there isn't one thing she wouldn't do to get to the top in the company, Killing her daughter infact ranks high on the list. When people visit the clinic they'll meet the kind and cheery doctor whose suffers from the loss of her husband and only daughter but carries on with a strong spirit. But it's an act, you talk to any other lab workers and they'll tell you she's has no humanity or emotion at all. She blames others for failed experiments, and treats everyone worse than the ground she walks on. Every side is her bad side, no one is above her and if they are, then she'll just have to put them in their place. Melany doesn't like obstacles and hurdles in life anyone who happens to be one might just end up dead, like her husband.
Bio: She had been in town for 7 years before she started to notice the faltering flaws, she needed to stay in the town and watch over the experiment, incase something happened, she needed a reason to stay around. So over the next two years she started dating a local doctor in the town and later got married. She hadn't expected I'd lead to a child, but then it would give her even more reason to stay and an experiment to watch at home. And she was right about the plan faltering soon after her daughter was born the company was asked to leave, but Melany stuck around with her so called "family" Melany was always testing her daughter's blood, her husband wondered why his daughter was always so sick, but never new why. It was a few years before anything started happening strange reports going around town, which allowed the company to come back in. They started bringing in the kids, but this was suppose to be her project and she grew frustrated from the negative blood test. She started doing more until she grew careless and her husband found out. It wasn't a day later that he was found dead, an empty syrenge in his neck, claimed to be suicide. Melany tried to keep her daughter or at this point her experiment at home, which wasn't difficult, Erin was often ill. Some of the tests were showing up positive, finally. But before she could lock her down completely her daughter dissapeared. She hasn't seen her daughter in years and with no further subject, Melany went back to Quandernex and took over the clinics, taking in children whose blood tested positive. She believes Erin is still somewhere in town and she looks forward to some day getting her back but right now she's content with her other subjects.

Personality: Quick wits and equally fast reflexes make Kevin the perfect unit for infiltration of the Stranger's operations. He doesn't trust anyone and makes this clear, but he has an intense dislike for direct lies, so he'll veer and distract should anyone ask him outright where his loyalties lie. He's good at keeping secrets, he's been doing it since he turned 13. Overall, a shady character with almost no redeeming feature save for his deep-rooted desire to be accepted.
Bio: Born outside Acaia, his family moved here when he was around fifteen. At that point in his life, Kevin had been keeping his secret for two years and doing it well, since his father kept inquiring about it. He graduated in the middle of his class at Acaia High School, with an inconspicuous GPA that matched his appearance. He's been mostly an outcast in all his time in town, with no real friends. No one remembers him either, so when Quandernex offered him a job out of school, he was looking for an opportunity to make friends on a professional level, which was how he was prodded into being Q's double agent at the school. He has a new identity as Kevin Johnson for his second duration at high school.
Other: Not one other soul on the earth but for him knows about his secret ability. Said ability is to see the one's soul's color and true form, as well as their "mood color", but he has to open his third eye, or his ajna chakra to do it.

Caden was perched up on a black swivle chair infront of keyboard and two large monitors with headset mic was draped around her neck. Everything had been rather quiet today, she hated quiet days but at the same time she enjoyed them, it meant she probably wouldn't have much trouble walking around at night and seem suspiscoius. But it also meant she'd have nothing to do all day back at base. She hadn't recieved any calls from ground scouts nor had she heard any reports from the school. She hated the fact that she was one of the few Strangers who didn't actually attend school during the day. She had never gone to school, when she was little she was always too sick and since then she'd gone into hiding. So she settled with online classes and learning what school was like from sitcoms when she rewired the monitors.
She pursed her lips and pushed herself back and forth behind the desk she was stationed at. She wanted something to do, a recon mission, she'd even watch the younger kids if it'd save her from this boredom. She lifted her mic headset back onto her head and pulled the mic down in front of her mouth as she waited for something to happen. But waiting didn't mean anything would happen and with a sigh Caden pulled her legs up into the chair and up to her chest as she started a Samurai Sudoku puzzle. She would have much rather to be skateboarding and exploring further parts of the tunnel that had yet been renovated, but she wasn't suppose to leave her post today, no matter how boring, she always seemed to get the boring shifts, but then again when she wasn't at the monitors she was normally out there having fun, or on a recon mission. Her eyes glanced up every now and then counting down the minutes until other Stranger's would be out of school and until nightfall.

Travis had his head on his arms and his eyes were grey with boredom. Travis hated biology. The teacher droned on about scientific classification and other nonsense. Travis could have done this class in his sleep, but he had decided a while back not to be a smart-a** in his classes. Travis had faded out of consciousness into a sort of semi-consciousness where he was still awake, but didn't register anything through his brain. He was practically a vegetable. Someone jabbed him with a pencil. Apparently the teacher wanted an answer. Travis just shrugged like he always did and his teacher tried to coax an answer out of him. Shrug. The teacher shook his head and called on someone else. Travis glanced at the clock. Just a few more minutes...

"3 o'clock" She announced finally and no sooner had she said it did her headset beep loudly in her ear.
"Decibel, you there?" A voice came in rather distorted through the speakers.
"Yeah, What's up?" Caden asked and had to keep the eagerness of her voice dim as she spoke.
"Something's wrong with the frequencies on the radios. I thought you fixed that. We're picking up a lot of disturbance. I don't think the lines are as secure as you said." the voice cracked.
Caden bit her lip scrutinized the monitors in front of her. "I did fix it." She grumbled and put down her Sudoku puzzle as she pulled some files onto the screen. "You probably just broke it or something. The signal was fine yesterday." she mumbled.
"I haven't done anything. It's your frequency." The voice retorted.
There were sometimes she jsut wanted to delete the line completely, then maybe they's realize how important she was and how hard it was to maintain a steady and secure frequency. At least that's was what she was thinking until about 7 more calls came in with the same problem. "Yeah. I'm on it." she sighed and for a few minutes there was no sign except the clattering of her fingers across the keyboard. It took about 8 minutes before she linked the last radio to the new signal. But then again she wasn't for sure how much longer this one would hold for either. She hit an all call on her keyboard to all radios and phones that were switched on at the time, "This Decibel, frequency # 88.2472 has been terminated we will now be continuing on frequency # 91.0037. This a test call, no response is needed." She released th all call button and picked her conversation, "That signal clear enough for you?" she sighed and terminated the call before recieving an answer. She pulled her headset back down around her neck once more as she waited for some of the school goers to return to base.

Travis had ran out of the class as soon as the bell rang and had positioned himself in his usual position. He received the message by Decibel and switched to the new frequency. He tested it with a friend and sat in his position, bored.
