Her paws drew her away from her daughters, and away from the lands of where what little of her family was left. All seemed to have left, their commitment dismal, and her own personality not helping. The only ones that seemed to stay, the two daughters out of the eight she once had. Yet, she felt alone, never complete while she was away from her king.

Padding through the grasses of the southlands, if not the Pridelands, she stalked under the full moon, the silver light illuminating her blood red pelt. The raven portions disappeared even in the night, giving her form an eerie flavoring.

Stilling far enough on her own, she snarled at any creatures that seemed curious, eyes flaring and nostrils rising. When all was silent and still, she settled onto her haunches and waited, watching the darkness as her ears perked at any noise. The firekin waited, for what she did not know, but it didn't matter. She had a feeling, and her feelings never steered her wrong.

The night was his favorite time of all, the time when everythiing was shadowed by darkness and hidden from the eyes of those that might pry. Those that might attempt to change what one was doing. Of all, Inzondo-mnyama might have decided that he deplored the daylight... but it was only the daylight that allowed him the peace that he so craved.

Night, darkness, black... despite it being the color of his fur he hated it. Only the light was what he wanted. Only light.

Maybe that was why part of him was drawn to the bright shimmering sands of the Firekin, but the rest of him rebelled against that urge. He hated the firekin, they were the ones that killed his twin, the ones that abandoned him in the first place, the ones that were responsible for years upon years upon years of torture and stress and overall pain. His starvation from lack of eating, his innability to find food within the rouge lands, his lack of like for any lion outside of those that he knew. All of them he blamed on the Firekin.

All of them.

Maybe it was the darkness that forced him out that night on his walk, or maybe it was how restless he was and his need of finding some sort of entertainment. Maybe it was even his relentless need just to walk the earth in search of something that was taken from him years ago.

Either way, the dark male trotted the ground not that far away from the female who was as of yet outside his sight and scent. However, for how long that lasted even the gods weren't to know.

Snapping to attention, she caught the sound of movement before even seeing the male, but oh when she did. His golden, gleaming coat caught her eyes, and she was at a loss at the sight of him. His form was looming, and she could almost feel it in her toes that indeed, he was a firekin. Ruffling her pelt slightly in anticipation, she stood and moved towards him, with high hopes she would bring another to join her King's cause.

"What is it I've found in the dead of the night..." She purred out, monotone voice holding a sultry edge as she tried to catch his attention, "A lost kitten has come out to play."

She had to test him, in her mind it was only just, to test those who met her and only allow the worthy to stand in her presence, to join her side in the cause of the rebel force. From the point she sauntered away from the shadows of the trees, her raven pelt was illuminated as well, and she settled directly in his path, waiting with sharp eyes.

One flick of his deep black tail and the large firekin turned his rose colored eyes to stare into the burning eyes of the firekin female before him. Instantly, just from the deepness of her coat all the way down to the burning flames that were her eyes, Inzondo knew who he was dealing with... what, he was dealing with.

Gold shimmered with the movements of his large paws as he settled himself on the ground, a good distance's walk away from the large female who had settled herself not so far from him as well. Just the way she held herself gave away who and what she was, from her burning fiery soul to her sultry voice that could do nothing to mask how monotonous it truely was. She was a daughter of the Firekin. Just as he was the son.

"I haven't the faintest clue what you've found, 'kitten'. However you haven't found yourself another kitten that's for sure. I'm not as lost as you seem to think." His voice was like gravel, sharp and deep and rough from years of innactivity.

Watching her motions, Inzo could have called her wild, but she controlled it in a way that he hadn't seen before. Cool and smooth as if she were sure of every move she made. The way the moonlight flashed off her deep black shoulders and markings gave the image of a lioness that knew what it took to get what she wanted. She was in perfect condition from head to toe to fiery soul.

This would be more than a little interesting.

Keeping her cool, she showed no sign of the irritation that was coursing through her veins, as little as it may have been. Taking a soft breath, she rolled her neck to the side and blinked a second, feigning innocence as her eyes slid back to him. The whole pose showed off her neck and curve of her body, she was having fun with the stranger.

"Are you implying that you intended to find me?" With a light smirk, though no smile anywhere upon her features, she stood and stretched her back, feeling a slight pop as her back loosened out.

"I might as well take a guess...you have the blood of the Firekin in your veins."

It was a statement as she moved slowly over, her eyes raking across his pelt as she silently tore apart his being, making her own assumptions and opinions within her quick paced mind.

Narrowing his rose colored eyes at her crimson orbs, Inzondo let a frown break the stoney look of hsi face. The spiderweb tattoo on his right cheek morphed slightly from the strain that frowning forced it into. What was the female implying with her words? She thought he was looking for 'her'?

Sure she was very stunning to look at, and the appeal of her apperance forced his male instincts into a frenzy. Just male nature he supposed, it was only thanks to years of going without that he was able to turn his instincts off to her appeal.

"Looking for you in particular? No. Not even. My paws lead me elsewhere in the night. I know where I am though not always where I go." Inzo frowned at her statement.

The way she'd said that it wasn't a simple question, but it sounded as if she were all the same.

"Firekin... though I don't wish for it to be so any longer."
