This is a thread where you can post about the book you are currently reading. You can just post the tile and author, a description, your own opinions on the book, or any combination... However, if you don't at least let us know the title, we won't be able to find it for ourselves! lol

Currently, I am in the process of reading People of the Lightning, book 7 in the First Native Americans series by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear.

It is a pretty good book, if you like Native Americans and historical fiction.

I do not have much time to read these days, however, I am reading Lord of the Flies with my classes right now. I always enjoy reading that book again and again year after year!

So far this year, I have read Currant Events, Pet Peeve, and Stork Naked by Piers Anthony. I also read two anthologies by collections of authors: The Ultimate Dragon and Sun in Glory.

Now, I need to find another book to read. I have several on the "waiting list" but I am not certain which one will be next.

Just started The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule. It is the story of Ted Bundy, the serial killer, as told by a woman who knew him and considered him a friend.

Finished The Stranger Beside Me and also In the Name of Love. Not sure if I will be reading Too Late to Say Goodbye or Green River Running Red next.

All are true crime novels written by Ann Rule.

Don't recall anything about a "Twilight" series. sad Could you possibly post more information regarding this?

Last night, I finished Without Pity by Anne Rule. It was a collection of short stories about true crimes. Most of them are from her other books, but some of them had updates. And there were three new stories at the beginning.

After I finished that book, I started reading A Crown Disowned by Andre Norton and Sasha Miller. I haven't gotten very far in it yet (just the prologue and the first chapter).

That sounds like an interesting book.

I am still trying to get through A Crown Disowned. I keep getting distracted, and haven't been able to spend a lot of time actually reading. lol Maybe I can catch up this weekend.
