Any one a fan of this band? It was love at first sight so to speak for me. Listened to there self titled first, then it snow balled from there, now there one of my top artists.
Also, have any of you listened to there latest EP, Life Line yet? If not, its worth a try, I enjoy it quite a bit.

Though it really depends on the release, there newer stuff is more calm and shoegaze-ish. Any of there stuff is worth at least checking out, but I'm a big fan of Sunrise/sunset.

Jesu is amazing, but very post-metal meets shoegaze, NOT doom metal.

robin2220 Jesu is amazing, but very post-metal meets shoegaze, NOT doom metal. It's Drone Metal, which is generally viewed as a sub-genre of Doom.

And, I will also agree, that some of Jesu's stuff would not qualify as doom, or metal, for that matter... But check out songs like "Man/Woman" if you wish to question it.
