I'm not rich, but I have the final expansion without cheating. And that includes Time Traveling, also! =D

I've never time traveled or used cheats. But I have looked on sites to get useful hints. And I've payed off all my house and I'm working on getting the purple feather.

Turtle With Cancer I'm not rich, but I have the final expansion without cheating. And that includes Time Traveling, also! =D As soon as I hear it can wreck your game I don't use it (the exception being the master cheat on The Sims 2 since that's a fixable one!).

 One cannot and must not try to erase the past... I did a tiny pointless little time travel when I restarted. I was bored really late at night and wanted to restart, but I didn't want to have to wait till the next day to do the nooks thing and so I set the time back and the forward the next day. I do go on the sites to check for helpful hints, that's about it. I want to work for all my stuff makes it more special. ...Merely because it does not fit the present.

I only time I'd ever consider using the time cheat is if someone wrecked my game and it had to be reset. Like I'd set the date back to a year ago and then put some bells in the bank and skip it forward a year (unless that would mess up my game and make me have to start over twice - I wouldn't leave the game in the DS while changing the time, mind you - I'd leave it out while I was doing that).
I think that'd be fair enough to do if you'd worked really hard to make a good town and gotten all the unlockables then had to start from scratch because of some very unpleasent person ruining it (although then yeah you would have a years worth of weeds to pull up after and you'd have a whole bunch of letters and new neigbours...)
Basically I wouldn't complain as much if someone had done it for that reason.

I use my Action Replay to add a couple bridges to make it easier to get around my town and some days when I don't feel like watering my flowers. But other than that, I don't use it very much.

Only a week or two,
because before donating to Boondox at all
I saved up all the money (about 8 million) in the bank.
There were a few reasons for this,
one of them being to collect the monthly interest.
Saving up that 8 million
took just under a year, I think.
Yes, a real-time year of playing every day.
And I loved every moment of it.
