The moon hung high above the sky shinning brightly against the clouds that seemed to move slowly by. Every now and then the moon would disappear, making the land rather dark, then appearing again adding a bit of light. Takumi's fur shimmered in the moon light as he walked slowly. Little trees around, so it made him rather easy to spot when the moon wasn't being hidden. His ears down and walking slightly fast as if irritated. Though, he wasn't really. It just kept other's away from him thinking he was irritated.
That was the last thing he needed, someone to bug him. Though, it could do some good for at least one to bug him. His bobbed tail flicked back and forth as he walked. Paws thumping on the ground, he was making no effort to be silent. Well, it wasn't that he couldn't do that, it was he didn't want to be silent. Letting people know he was there was good enough for him. He didn't want to admit to himself, but he still wanted to be the center of attention. Though, after finding out he wasn't a female recently, he decided to try to act less like his old self. It was working a little bit, but still he couldn't help but enjoy old ways.

Another Ulaya prowled the night. Her paws fell light on the ground, eyes downcast. She moved like a dream. Fleeting from shadow to shadow when she could. Though her expression was serene she was bored. One could only stare at the moon and stars for so long.
The night wind danced around her, ruffling fur and making the grass dance. It carried a males scent to her nose. Ears pricked. Eyes glancing up only to go down once more. Paws shifted their course to intersect with his. A male to entertain would pass her boredom. He would be the first she'd meet.

Takumi didn't notice he was being tracked. Of course, he wouldn't really even care if he was. Unless, the other had some business to trying to kill him. He yawned and darted his peridot green eyes across the dark land. Seeing nothing really of interest to him, he went back to looking at the ground in front of him. He slowed his pace since it seemed there was no one around. Plus, it was hurting his ankles every time he stomped down.
His angry look lifted, but only until someone made themselves known. Now he was a bit more relaxed, and had a slight grin on his face. Silence was always the best thing. Or at least, that's what he thought. He stretched his back legs one at a time while still trying to walk a bit, but it failed causing him to stumble to the ground. He landed with a nice THUNK sound.

A small smile twisted the females lips. Eyes remained half-lidded as she watched him. "A most graceful move, I am in admiration." Her voice was soft, tinted with a accent. How one took the statement was up to them. A silk wrapped comment or a insult.
He was interesting. A most lovely shade of gray, speckled by darker gray. Her mind could sense a despair about him. A wrinkle in his emotions.

He almost jumped, almost. It was more like a twitch of some type. Him jumping, but trying to stop it at the same time. He looked about to see where exactly the voice had come from. His eyes laid upon a female of green and blue. Though, in the dark, it was hard to see what shades of green and blue she was. Except her eyes. They were brighter then his own. He wasn't sure if he should say anything. He gave a chuckle. "Perhaps for someone very clumsy" He said in a low voice. He was never one good for words like that. Not good like his father, anyways.

"Of course, that would not be you." She let her expression slide to something inviting and friendly. Opal was curious, wanted to know this male. To know why his emotions were as they were. Though she would so with finesse, entertaining him as she could. He needed it. "I have been inattentive. My name is Opal." The female bowed her head lowly.

Takumi shrugs and got to his feet. "I could be, or couldn't be." He shruged again. He really wasn't sure if he was clumsy. He never paid attention to how many times he ran into things, or fell. Though, he was sure that he didn't do it too often. Though, he wasn't about to pounder about it. "Takumi" He said simply. He watched her for a moment before looking somewhere else. It was rude to stare. "What brings you out here?" He wanted to stay at this time, but he knew there were others like him who might actually just like the night better then day.

Her head raised, still smiling. "It is a great pleasure to meet you, Takumi-sama." The smile broadened when he looked away. "I favor the night. It is most beautiful. When the stars shine brightly and all the world seems to be holding it's breath."

He quickly looked back at her. Sama? What was that suppose to mean? He didn't ask, and just raised an eye brow. "Nice to meet you aswell, Opal." He hoped he got her name right. "I see." He said in response. "The sun just hurts my eyes." He said stupidly. Well, at least he was being truthful. He hated the sun, yet enjoyed it as well.

"We all have our flaws." She flexed her wings before turning away. "Would you accompany me? I have no knowledge of this area."

Takumi really couldn't say he knew the area well either. Though, he could see better at night then in the day. His vision wasn't like it was in the day though. Colors seemed different. But no matter. He nodded. "I guess I could try to help." He said. He didn't notice her wings until she turned away from him. Strange really, he'd never seen a ulaya with wings before. Though, he didn't ask about them. His dad did have a long tail, so perhaps it was kind of like that?

"We are born how we are born." Opal said. She had felt the weight of his stare on her back. It didn't bother her. The female wasn't self-conscious. "Thank you, Takumi-sama."

He looked around, then at her. "Where are you headed?" he said not sure where to actually start to show her where to go. "I mean, it'd help me tons if I knew what you were trying to find, or where you are to go." He said
