Autumn lyed under a almost bare tree snoozing peacefully. The breeze didn't bother her one bit and the crinkling sound of red, orange, and gold leaves were like music to her ears, afterall it was her favorite season, autumn. Autumn's ears flicked about happily and her tail bobbed around a bit, the current tranquility was heart-warming to her and even the strongest wind couldn't break that, only another Ulaya could. She opened one eye a little, wondering if it was sunset yet.

Pop walked along, enjoying the season. Autumn, the best time of the year. She sniffed the autumn air, enjoying the scents. The leaves crucnching became a melody to her, and she was humming a little tune. It was near sunset, her favorite time of the day. Then, she spied an Ulaya that was the colors of her favorite season. She padded to a distance of two feet aya from the female, and smiled. "Hey there. What's your name?" She asked in a happy voice.

Autumn mentally groaned in disgust, she knew it wouldn't last. "Oh... why hello there," Autumn smiled and got up, "I'm Autumn, and who is it that I have the pleasure of meeting?" More like the displeasure... Autumn mentally frowned, expecting it to just be another annoying Ulaya, obviously Autumn liked lumping everyone together in one catagory, annoying. She analyzed the Ulaya for a moment, she was very unusual looking much like herself, she looked... like corn!? Oh for goodness sake does every Ulaya need to look so strange?

"My name's Pop. Nice to meet you Autumn!" Pop repled, smiling at Autumn. Sh'e kinda cute actually. Pop thought to herself, wagging her tail. This Autmn seemed to be pretty nice too. "So, Autumn, are you doing here?" Pop asked, smiling at Autumn.

Autumn bowed her head, "I dunno..." She looked around, "just enjoying the scenery I guess, actually I was looking quite forward to some company though." No, actually I wasnt... Autumn mentally grumbled to herself, "so what are you doing here?" She tilted her head to the side slightly in fake interest.

"Well its a good thing I showed up then, huh?" Pop asked, laying down. She was glad to finally have someone to talk to. Too bad she doesn't look to exciting. She seems nice though, but just not attractive. "I was just taking a little walk, feeling kinda lonely." She answered, smiling. "But now that I've found you, I'm not lonely anymore."

"Ah, I see," Autumn sat down and watched the sunset smiling, not saying anything else. Oh, just go away... Autumn thought bitterly. She opened her mouth to make a rude remark, but then cloed it and turned it less mean, "Pop is a very interesting name... I don't think theres anyone else in the world with the same name, "she smiled, "but it's a nice name of course," pffttt, she wishes.

"Oh, um, thank you. No one's ever told me that before!" Pop responded, head and ears shooting up. She blushed slightly, then took control of herself. "Autumn's a great name as well. I mean, who doesn't love this time of year, right?" Pop asked, looking around, then smiling at Autumn. "I'd love to be named after a season, but as you can see, I look like corn. So I don't think that would exactly work."

Autumn smiled and bowed her head, "thank you," well of course, autumn is the best time of the year! She looked at Pop for a moment, thinking, "if you were to be named after a season it would be summer probably, because well your sunny and bright just like summer." Not so much for the bright part but thats alright I guess... Summer sucks anyway, too noisy.

"Oh! Um, thanks again." Pop said, perking up slightly. This Autumn girl was really nice. Wow...and I thought she was going to be mean. Pop thought, smiling inwradly. "I love Summer, the water is just right for swimming in. And the watermelon..." Pop trailed off, licking her lips. She loved watermelon. "Ah, where's my head today? Anyways, do you like summer?"

"I guess summer is alright," Autumn said smiling, "its not exactly my season because its a little too noisy, since I'm a bit of a silent person," she chuckled, "but I guess it's alright." No, summer sucks, and the only reason I would look forward to it is because it would be if its spring and after summer would be fall.

Pop smiled at Autumn again, thinking about how wonderful it was to talk to another female that didn;t ridicule her for how she looked. "Ah, yeah, noise. I kinda like noise, but silence is good too." Pop chirped, bobbing her head slightly. "Hey, Autumn. What do you like to do?" Pop asked, trying to move this conversation along.

"I don't know, I'm a bit of a boring person... don't do much besides eat, sleep, and everyonce in a while rake up leaves then bounce into the big pile." Ugh... she had to remind me of how dry my life is.... "What do you like to do? I'm sure it's a lot more interesting than me." Nothing is more interesting than me... MUAHAHAHAHAHA! ...I think I might need to stay away from this "Pop" from now on, I think she's making me go insane...

"That's not true! You're plenty interesting!" Pop pouted, defending Autumn from...well...Autumn. "Oooo...bouncing in leaves is really fun! But, it gets my yellow coat all dirty and icky." POp shook her head, sticking out her tounge. Yuck, icky coat. "Oh, I like solving puzzles and going into Corn Mazes. Mazes are really fun." She told Autumn, remembering every corn maze she had gone into. "Plus, what's better than free corn?"

"Thats why I bounce into clean dry leaves," she said chuckling, duuuhhhh.~ Autumn laughed, oh I bet she fails at doing puzzles and gets lost in mazes... "Yes, free corn is a pretty good deal I suppose." But wouldn't that be... canabalistic in her case? Autumn pondered for a moment, then would jumping into leaves and stepping on them make her homicidal? See!!! This girl makes me think the craziest things...
