" A small valley with a stream at the bottom.....thats where you can find me..." she repeated to herself, a foggy memory danced in the back of the mares mind, the scraggly legged filly had grown, her choppy tricolored mane had grown into long silken locks, the warm yellow bleeding into the stark ivory which faded into the earthy brow..Amber eyes danced as she made her eyes towards a small valley without knowing it.
This time, she was not with another, no companion sent by her mother, just her. With a shake of her mane she laughed and raced down the side of the valley towards the bubbling stream, her mane flying out behind her like a banner waving in the air, her tail reaching out towards the land as she moved gracefully.
What would she find today hmm? She thought as she enjoyed herself, the brisk winter air bitting at her sides as her heart raced with joy, she loved this crisp feeling in the air, it was so refreshing. Autumns daughter braced winter like a lost sister, she slowed down to a fast trot as she neared the stream, a cold drink would be welcoming she thought.

Time had sure past since that meeting with a fiesty little filly on that particular stormy eve; boy, it sure had. Although he hated to admit it, often the teal stallion found his mind wandering back to the brazzen foal from time to time...was she still the same? Had she grown? How was she doing? Zevach could say quite honestly he wasn't too fond of foals in general yet he had enjoyed her company suprisingly; perhaps it was their similar attitude....or even the fact he felt his heart warm a bit in her presence.
None the less, time had passed in more than one way.
He was love struck.
Oh! How that magenta mare named Amary had stolen his heart; even the near thought of her sent his heart pounding and his face flushed. Again, the stallion would never admit it but it was at that moment when they'd became intimate that he felt he'd finally become an adult. No longer the brash and hot headed (Well, most of the time) stallion of his youth; Zevach felt the pride of gaining age and wisdom under his belt. He'd become larger; stronger and more at peace with himself. He had her to thank for that, and looked eagerly foreward to their next rendevous.
It was just after dawn that he stood down by the stream he usually frequented after training in the wee early hours of the morning. Sweat dappled his dark coat while his chest heaved softly from the burning sensation in his legs. The chilled breeze of winter to come was a welcoming blessing to the stallion; as his defined muscles have a bit of a delighted shudder against the cold. Treading into the stream up to his knees he took a deep drink of the cool liquid, sighing out before his ears perked up to the sound of trotting nearby. Looking up towards the top of the small valley; he was curious who could be out at such a hour?

Her laughter rung out in the morning air as she watched a pair of birds flutter around one another, she shook her head with a sassy smile continued her way towards the stream.
The strong scent of another caught her attention, it was slightly familiar, but still so different from the face she wanted to put it with. What had happened to the heart marked stallion of her childhood she thought with a smile, she'd grown such a silly crush on him she thought with another laugh as she stepped up to the stream.
Thats when she noticed the other stallion, her mane whipping around her slightly, she arched a brow staring at him opening, her eyes boldly traveling over his form, indeed the little filly had grown into a mare, and she felt a bit different about boys these days, not to much but enough.
"Morning.." She said, her voice was sultry with the twang of sass in the background, her boldness hadnt left her, but it was more refined a bit, but it still held the bite she was known for.

Orange came to view as quickly as the sun rising over the horizon; and thats what it felt like down to the dime when the mare peaked over the hills before decending down into the valley. Cocking his head to the side his heart gave a bit of a familliar flutter...did he know this mare? Frowning in concentration, her patterns and markings became clear once she was close enough; her voice calling out with a matured but mischevious tone to it.
"Morning...." He huffed lightly, his standoffish nature showing upon seeing new faces....but something about her just seemed so damn....familliar! That was when it hit him; the stream....the orange....that filly! The one he'd met that eve and said that she could find in at this stream; he'd almost forgot since it had been quite a while ago.
Grinning in a bemused fashion, he cocked his head to the side. Man, she'd sure grown into a beauty from that stubborn little foal he'd met. "Well well well....and here I thought you'd forgotten. Its been a while, Zarimunia...I see you're not such a squirt anymore; although I admit that the long hair suprised me." Flicking his tail behind him, the stallion chuckled in his deep set vocals. Although he was aware most fillies' hair grew, he just didn't expect hers to grow so much like his own sister.
"How have you been? Was swimming ever a sucsess?"

That voice, those eyes, her mind wandered to a rain day and stallion she remembered with much fondness, tossing her mane she smiled as it all came back to her. It'd been him who'd said those word, the reason she'd came here, she laughed at herself.
"Zevach.." She said slowly, the name sounded right, and she was good with them, she hoped she hadnt lost her touch. Laughing, she shook her head, "Can swim like a fish, and fly with the birds these days.."
A brow arched at his comment of her mane, she had the same mane her mother did, long soft locks that always seemed to get in her eyes, annoying as hell she though as she blew a puff of air at her bangs. "I've my mothers mane, annd your not as old as I thought you'd be.." She smirked as she flicked her tail.
Lowering her muzzle to the cold stream, she took her fill of its chilling liquids, it was nice and refreshing. Lifting her head, she wiggled her muzzle trying to get the droplets of water off. "What have you been up to?" she asked with a slight smirk.

Grinning broadly, the stallion nodded his head in affirmation, so she did remember him after all. None the less, he couldn't help but admiring her...her parents must have been proud to see such a rambunctious filly turn into such a well rounded mare; at least of what he could tell. "Swimming and flying; well, it looks like you have one up on me then Zari...although sometimes I could almost swear I too could become airborne."
"Your mother would be proud i'm sure...and Sin was it? The ferret?" He commented, before a playful scowl etched onto his face. "Hey! I wasn't old then, I was a young adult, thank you very much. You were just too young to realize it." He huffed, although his mock angry fascade didn't hold up so well against the cheeky grin which tugged at the corners of his lips.
"Quite a lot actually..."
His thoughts wandered back to Amary, that temptress of a mare who succeeded in stealing his heart and calming his egotistical temper. Ah - what he would give to see her again! "I've been meeting many a new Soquili; mostly female though - oddly. Training as there are as many hours of daylight" He admitted, although the part about females was done so with a tiny bit of a sheepish tone.
"What about yourself, Zarimunia?"
