Alright, people. This time you can pull out your party supplies, because I really might leave WIF. I didn't want to mention it this early, but Doink posted yesterday that he was going to quit. I had to convince him to stay a little longer, and I should atleast give all of you an explanation why.

Well, my vision has been ******** up as of late. I'd usually need glasses or contacts to see, but I noticed that even if I was wearing those, I had a difficult time seeing clearly. So, I went to the eye doctor's in September. There, they made me take a test where they took photos of the inside of my eyeballs to check for any problems. After testing was done, they showed me pictures. They were shocked to find that I had a benign tumor in my retina. Yes, a tumor. At first, I didn't worry about it. I thought they could just take it out with ease and it'd be done, but I guess that wasn't the case. Two days ago, I woke up to a phone call from the eye doctors. They said that I'd have to see a surgeon in Tennessee to remove the tumor. I didn't think that'd be so bad, but it was the last thing they said that frightened me. They told me that there might be a chance that I'll go blind after the surgery. You guys have no idea how I felt waking up to that. I got out of bed and I was shaking nervously. I left my bedroom and told Kura and Brian about the news, which was probably the most awkward conversation we've ever had. Kura was tearing up, Brian was tearing up, I began to tear up, then we just had a group hug. Afterwards, I left the house for work, smoked a few cancer sticks, then got home, deciding I should be optimistic about the whole thing, until the end of December.

I'm going to have the surgery this January. I made the decision that if anything went wrong, I'd give the guild back to Doink and leave, which is why I wanted him to stay, and I'm very thankful that he was so understanding to this situation.

And I'd just like to make a quick shout out to Jason (Blasko) and Cathy (Mutt). Since they were my closest friends online, I told them both about the tumor, then told them I'd give the guild to Doink if anything went wrong. To my surprise, they said I make a good owner. Mutt even said that if I gave the guild to Doink, she'd quit. I was touched. Those two are just one of the few reasons why I hope to leave the emergency home, get back home, log on AIM, and instant message them, saying "I can see.". No words could describe how much I love those two and how much joy they brung me during this whole thing. Much love to you guys. heart

Im sorry to hear about it all. I can't imagine how you must be feeling right now. Here's hoping all goes well and you'll be able to see clearly after its all over.

For my career here in the WIF, I know that you and I haven't seen exactly eye to eye. In all honesty, I felt really bad when Doink decided to give you the guild, because I had grown attached to his ways, and a new owner ment a lot. I pissed you of more than a few times, and bugged you to s**t about becoming a mod. Hell, now that I look back, I understand on why you never saw me mod material. Anyways, I know you'll beat this tumor. I see you as someone people should look up to, with a good sence of humor, but you know your s**t and you get down to business when you see fit. Never thought i'd be saying this, but I love you man, and i'm really down about this. Hope everything works, you'll be in my prayers. Can't wait for your return in January. I mean hell, you might be one of the most emotionally strong people I know. Never give up.

Shawn, despite our occasional differences in philosophy, I give you all the credit in the world. It's been way more good than bad when working with you, and I respect you for having twice the balls that I ever hoped to have. Hey man you are in my and Wolf's prays. I hope to God that you do not go blind at all, I really hope that you can come out of that hospital better then ever and see again, I mean you helped me when I was in new in the WIF and even considered my King of the Mountain idea, You are a great runner of the Wif and I hope to god that nothing happens at all.
