Fear Factory is the original metal band. A very good beginning! My favourite album out by them is Obsolete. Burton C. Bell has his voice wrenched into the blockbusting vocals he is primed so well for. The music is extremely radical! Just the track Obsolete is intriguing!
Opening with Shock! and finally ending with Timelessness, I was left exhausted!
But, what is a fan if they just stop there? Then, other mentionable highlyghts would be the crude and powerfully engineered Demanufacture! With tracks such as Demanufacture, Zero Signal, New Breed, finally Pisschrist, that CD is begging to be taken home.
Again, why stop there? You do have the wonderfully constructed, yet more industrial sounding Digimortal. This one left me burnt after first hearing. Tracks that stick out are What Will Become?, Damaged, Digimortal, Linchpin, and Acres ov Skin. Still to date, a very good CD, but their most definite weakest....
Concrete, the retrospect ov their previous style. Now one can hear the original Concrete! This was a death metal sleeper, and really produces Fear Factory roots. A release that was greatly appreciated!
I know I left a few out, but I did that on purpose. I would like to see what others think ov Fear Factory!

Archetype is nothing like it. If anything, it strayed away from the Industrial sounding style, and more to the heavy metal style. I liked Archetype, and I liked Digimortal, it just comes from two different Fear Factories.
