Hmm.... I'm sure I had something to put here, but unfortunatly, I have to go cook for all my in-laws for thanksgiving. Anyways, I'm an Army Infantry wife, with another 5 years to go

Hey to everyone past, present, and future who posts here. i am a corpsman's wife so i am kinda both a marine and navy wife put together i guess biggrin . and i have wonderful news, today my husband got to call me from Iraq. I am sooooo happy. only 5 1/2 more months till he gets back *happy dance*

good luck with that we managed to luck out big time, by PCSing to Alaska, we will be off of the Iraq rotation roster

I'm a marine Wife of almost 2 years. My husband is deployed right now and is due home for R&R in 3 weeks. And I'm spazing out Any of you guys went through that yet?

Similiar, but not quite, we weren't married when he was deployed, but dating be careful to use birth control if you aren't on it already, unless you guys are trying for that. Right now I'm just having to deal with him being gone for a week, back for a day or two, then gone again

Right now I'm just having to deal with him being gone for a week, back for a day or two, then gone again This is his third time being away, first was basic, then Japan and now Iraq. so its also his longest time being away from home. Lucky you that he's home. I'm just worried about how he's acting. I figured its stress but, either way it has me worried.

i somewhat lucked out, because if we had been together longer, i would have gone through Basic, then two years later, Infantry AIT, then 16 months of Iraq, thought it was only supposed to be 12 months. if we weren't moving, which is up in the air right now, he would be leaving for Iraq August 14th god i hope we move, god i really do

In worst case sanerio situation, if he gose to Iraq make sure he takes leave at the 6-7 month mark point. No later.

lol i stress anytime hes gone, the joys of being newly weds, im sure in a few eyars him being gone for a week at a tiem will be no big deal
