  Head: Professor Pomona Sprout
Founder: Helga Hufflepuff
Blazon: or, a badger sable (that is, a black badger on a golden field, hence the Hufflepuff colours of yellow and black) (GF15)
Ghost: The Fat Friar
Sorting Hat's description (PS7):
These belong in Hufflepuff, Where they are just and loyal. Those patient Hufflepuffs are true And unafraid of toil.
Common room location: unknown, but down a staircase off the main hall. Cellar-like in appearance (JKR).
Loyal. Dependable. True. Just.
What an honor to be sorted into Hufflepuff! The house based on values and virtues over simply deeds. Not that the Hufflepuffs don't do anything worthwhile, it's just that here importance is based more on how you are, not what you do. Hufflepuff is all about acceptance. Since when is that a bad thing?
In Hufflepuff, there is a fallacy that the members are simply average, not good enough to get into the other houses. This is most definately not so. Just because Hufflepuff doesn't discriminate against people for not being good enough (or brave, smart, and ambitious enough), does not mean that the entire house is full of wimps, as people seem to think. While, yes. hard-workers are most likely to enter Hufflepuff, this does not mean there aren't other qualities. The fact that Helga Hufflepuff will take "all the rest" can and is seen as a bad thing, by some.
A Hufflepuff is loyal to their friends, trustworthy and patient, and often hard-working. One need not to fit all the criteria of a house to belong it it, nor not have any of the other House's values.
Last, I hope I need not remind you of Cedric Diggory, the one champion chosen for Hogwarts, over all the cunning Slytherins, brave Gryffindors, and clever Ravenclaws. You'd do good not to doubt Hufflepuff.

Susan Bones
Year of Birth: 1980 Years attended Hogwarts: 1991-1998 Parentage/Family: Susan's aunt is Amelia Susan Bones, who is Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and who presided over Harry's disciplinary hearing on Aug 12, 1995.
Susan's uncle, Edgar Bones (brother of Amelia) was a member of the Order of the Phoenix in the 1970s; Moody said 'he was a great wizard'. Edgar was killed, with his wife and children, by a Death Eater before Voldemort fell (OP9).
Susan's grandmother, Mrs. Bones, was killed by Death Eaters (SS4).
Appearance: Susan wears her hair in a long plait down her back. Background: (from HP Lexicon) Joined the DA in October 1995 (OP16). Acquired a gruesome notoriety when the Death Eater who killed her uncle Edgar and his family escaped Azkaban in January 1996, after which she condoled with Harry, saying she now knew what he'd had to go through (OP25). One of the DA members who helped Harry cope with Malfoy in the ambush on the Hogwarts Express (OP3 cool . Susan is most likely named after her Aunt Amelia, whose middle name is Susan (OP cool .
Susan Bones was played in the first two films by the director's daughter, Eleanor Columbus (SS/f, CS/f).

Ernie MacMillan
Year of Birth: 1980 Years attended Hogwarts: 1991-1998 Parentage/Family: ? Appearance: a chubby kid of average height. Background: (from HP Lexicon) In his second year, Ernie was convinced that Harry was the Heir of Slytherin until Hermione was Petrified. (CoS)
Sort of a pompous fellow, Ernie's heart and loyalties are in the right place. In the fifth year he joined D.A. and learned a lot of practical magic. When O.W.L.S. came around, Ernie was in the habit of comparing how many hours he studied per day to those of the others around him. (OP)

Hannah Abbott
Year of Birth: 1980 Years attended Hogwarts: 1991-1998, Prefect 1995-1998 Parentage/Family: ? Appearance: A pink-faced blonde who wears her hair in pigtails (SS7). Background: (from HP Lexicon) Hannah is a close friend of Ernie Macmillan (CS11, 15), who shares her hobby of collecting chocolate frog cards (GF19). Both Hannah and Ernie became prefects in August of 1995 (OP10) and joined Dumbledore's Army that October (OP16).
Hannah had the unhappy distinction of being the first of Harry's year to crack under the strain of O.W.L. study, requiring a Calming Draught from Madam Pomfrey after she broke down crying in Herbology, saying she was too stupid to take her exams (OP27). Accidentally multiplied a ferret into a flock of flamingos during the Transfiguration practical (OP31) but acquitted herself well in the confrontation with Malfoy on the Hogwarts Express (OP3 cool .
Hannah was prominent among the Hufflepuffs who initially believed Harry to be the Heir of Slytherin in their second year (CS11). At one point in their third year, Hannah was convinced that Sirius Black could turn into a flowering shrub (PA9), which in hindsight is less silly than it might sound at first. House loyalty had her wearing a Support Cedric Diggory! badge early in the Triwizard Tournament (GF19). Despite occasional incidents like this, she and Ernie are on friendly terms with Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Justin Finch-Fletchley
Year of Birth: 1980 Years attended Hogwarts: 1991-1998 (SS) Parentage/Family: Muggle-born. Appearance: Curly hair, Background: Justin was down for Eton before he got his Hogwarts acceptance letter. He was threatened by a snake at the Dueling Club in his second year (CoS) and was also Petrified that same year (CoS).

Zacharias Smith
Year of Birth: ? Years attended Hogwarts: 1990's Parentage/Family: ? Appearance: tall skinny blond kid with an upturned nose. Background: Zacharias plays Chaser on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and became a member of Dumbledore's Army in 1995 (OP). He is the skeptic whom Ron, Fred, and George threaten in the Hog's Head (OP).

Cedric Diggory
Year of Birth: 1978 (deceased 1995) Years attended Hogwarts: 1989-1995 Parentage/Family: Cedric's father, Amos Diggory, works for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures (GoF). Appearance: Extremely good looking (GoF). Background: Seeker on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and a fine young man, Cedric was one of the champions selected to compete in the Tri-Wizard Tournament held in 1995. Shortly after the last Task was completed, Cedric was killed by Wormtail at Voldemort's command, June 24, 1995 (GoF).

Nymphadora Tonks
Nymphadora Tonks is a Metamorphmagus, an Auror and a member of the Order of the Phoenix. She is described as having "...a pale heart-shaped face, dark twinkling eyes, and short spiky hair that was a violent shade of violet." Rowling also adds a comical side to Tonks's character: she is notoriously clumsy and unskilled at household spells, like cooking, cleaning, and setting the table, and frequently breaks things and trips. She despises her given name and prefers to be called by her surname alone. Tonks is an only child. Her mother is Andromeda Black, favorite cousin of Sirius Black and sister to Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy. She is therefore Draco Malfoy's first cousin. Andromeda's family, however, disowned her after she married Muggle-born wizard Ted Tonks, meaning that Nymphadora has had little contact with her extended family.
Nymphadora studied at Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff.[5] The character later mentions that she left Hogwarts and began three years of Auror training. As a Metamorphmagus, she barely had to study for her Concealment and Disguise exam but had difficulty with Stealth and Tracking due to her clumsiness. Nevertheless, she qualifies as an Auror one year before her first appearance in the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
This is what I have put together thus far, for the student section.
What do you guys think?

Hufflepuff House Info:
Hufflepuff, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, values hard work, loyalty, tolerance, and fair play above all else. Its animal is the badger, and canary yellow and black are its colours. The Fat Friar is its ghost. According to Rowling, Hufflepuff corresponds roughly to the element of earth. The Hufflepuff dormitories and common room are located somewhere in the basement (corresponding to earth), their entrance found through a still-life painting that is somewhere near the kitchens. You must give a password to the painting to enter. The Hufflepuff common room is filled with yellow hangings and fat armchairs and it has little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops (very much like a badger sett).[2] Very few Hufflepuff members are specifically mentioned, and, in general, they are not seen much in the Harry Potter books.
The current Head of Hufflepuff House is Pomona Sprout.
