I quit my job at Target. I told my manager she "ain't no wizard" and they said they would be so generous as to let me work the busiest weekend of the year, but would "review my continued employment" on Monday. I told them to ******** themselves.
I'm unemployed again. Hopefully this isn't becoming a habit.
Discuss quitters.

I quit McDonalds when they started expecting me to do insane hours. I'll never do shop work ever again.

I'm still working at Dunkin Donuts, it's been a year and a half. Amazingly I'm one of the "survivors" since not many people last more than a few months due to the pettiest reasons.
I'm getting a slight promotion to "Shift Leader" probably only a quarter raise though. Woo. -_-
I don't care if I get fired any time soon, since I'd like to get a job at Borders. Maybe it won't lower my I.Q.

Shittiest job I ever had was at the Starbucks bean roasting and distribution plant. Ridiculous hours for ridiculous pay, just a RIDICULOUS job. I quit after 2 weeks, that was just nasty.

I'm asking myself the same thing, but its really coming down to hours & money. DD is ok, but it's getting old and strict. I make $7.50/hr, and I should get a raise, though I'm sure its not much. I can make $7.50 anywhere...the difference is in the tips. I very rarely spend my paychecks. What I do spend is the dollar bills I get in tips and then after a few weeks I cash in my tips adding between $100-$200. Then the scheduling: After school I have 3-6 shifts, which is nice since I have time after to do homework, eat and shower and get to bed at a reasonable time. Then I close 6-11 on most weekends.
If I had more information on the pay and scheduling at Borders, then I could make my decision.

I quit my job when my manager started to have a mental breakdown.
Something about being in his late 30's and not being anything better than a grocery store manager.
He started to lose it, one day In the back he started flipping out and screaming, he grabbed on to a shelf and wrenched it to the ground.
And I walked in and he was like "******** CLEAN THIS UP"
So I threw him a "b***h, are you for real?" and quit.

I'm actually starting to enjoy my job at Hot Topic.
It's not as similar to Satan's a*****e as I thought.

Kalebface SkAnarchism I'm actually starting to enjoy my job at Hot Topic. It's not as similar to Satan's a*****e as I thought. Hot scene chicks? Not as many as you'd think. But there are a lot of old ******** who like to start s**t, and it's fun to verbally abuse them with my managers. We even had a Neo-Nazi skinhead come in last Monday.

Lol Kincaid. I don't think I would mind working at hot topic, since I'd be more likely to wear their shitty clothes than Gap Outlet's shittier clothes.
...I am so tired of retail though. Need moar degree and actual career.
