Right!
I think it's time we got some subforums up and running in here.
So far, I've thought of-
-Family (a place to talk about family life, your kids etc.)
-Weddings (a place for you to talk about your special day, or even our engaged members to talk about their plans and ask for advice)
-Word Games (a place for word game threads)
-Homelife (cookery, interior design etc.)
Can anyone think of any more?
I'll put a pull up when we've got a few more suggestions, and see what the most popular choices are. mrgreen

I think a games subforum is a good idea, and new or old, all games threads should reside there.
As to other subforums, well, they can often kill, or at least chill, a conversation. (games being an exception) If a thread is active and the main is not overcrowded it may be a good idea to leave it there, and move it to the appropriate sub when activity on the thread dies down.
If/when the guild grows and everything needs to reside in a sub then I could see making that a rule. /2¢

I think that food in general esecially recipies/cooking /cooking tips should be it's own forum.

Also if it is a topic that offends members can just ignore the whole subforum. not trying to be lewd, just helpful. edit: Is it against ToS?

Discussion of sexual issues is not against the ToS. It's commonplace on Gaia. Pornography is against ToS.

As long as the discussion does not turn into graphic genital RP it shouldn't be a problem. I belong to a bondage guild that does RP. It doesn't get into genital contact so it skirts the issue, but some might still consider it porno because it's fetish based. I don't imagine a discussion forum for couples sexual issues handled frankly and maturely would raise any more eyebrows. Just look at what passes for discussion in the GD rolleyes

I think their should be a subforum about fights and arguments. We all have tiffs over silly (or not so silly) things that we want to discuss with people in the same situation. It might be a bit too broad or too narrow for a subforum, but it's just an idea.

I, personally, would enjoy to have a sexual topic forum/sticky/thread thing to have those sorts of ideas to be explored or elaborated on. Or just new ideas. I would love to surprise my husband with something pleasantly erotic and sensual, as he was the last one to come with something fresh and new for us to do.
As for cooking, I have noooo recipes, and I'm a horrible cook, and I would love some easy, no-fail(ish) recipes. :3

I think that a subforum for sex advice, tips etc. is a great idea!
After all, where better for that kind of subforum, than a guild for adults who have chosen to spend the rest of their lives with one person?
And I can't see it breaking any of the ToS, as long as we're not too graphic.

I agree with WoofPuppy's comment that sometimes too many subforums can kill a thread. Unless the guild becomes huge, it might be hard to get folks to participate in every single subforum if there are too many.
The games one is a good idea, though.

If ( from the suggestion earlier) there is no rule or law against a clean sex one, I think it isnt such a bad idea. I am an older OLDER married Gaian and sometime I am surprised at what some newly weds dont know, in this day and time. I am sure some of them could tell me a thing or two also!! LOL
