So a have a friend in rehab and I thought she'd like a card, but I don't know what to say. It doesn't exactly seem right to put 'get better soon' or something like that in it. So does anyone have any suggestions for me?

"Hope you're having fun at rehab!" Then on the inside: "There's a bag of crack taped onto the back of the card for you." Then on the back: "Haha, made you look!"
Sorry. XD I really have no idea, though. Maybe a letter is more in order than a card, because cards carry themes. Letters are just, "Hey girl, what's up?" and stuff. With a card, you can't say as much.
Good luck with your card. Sorry I'm not more helpful. XD

@Val: That made me laugh.
Just knowing that she's missed and that you cant wait to have her back etc etc will likely brighten her spirits. Its all about looking forward to a sober future and having friends/family that will support your sobriety in places like those. 'Im there for ya' is a good general starting point.
Good luck, I dont know what Id want to say either. With my brother I usually just tell him he's an idiot...but then he's been through rehab and skipped out on sober opportunities the minute he got out... e_e

I don't tend to make get well cards... mainly birthday. But I would do something like "Get better soon now." yeah, it's kinda lame ^_^

When I don't know what you say on cards like that , I just write a poem or song lyrics and then say " Get better soon" or something to that ... I'm sorry I couldn't help better ... sad

How about: "I'm missing you a lot. Hope you're happy and getting better"?

I'd do something like "We're supporting you, if you ever need help, just call, we're always here for you" blah blah blah and maybe an inspirational quote?
