NAME: DEEP SPACE DESCRIPTION: Deep Space encompasses the vast emptiness between habitable planets and star systems. It is nowhere and everywhere. In this area there is nothing but open space with stars, gas, and vast amounts of dust lightyears off in the distance. There is everywhere to run, but nowhere to hide, unless you get lucky and come out of warp into a nebula or massive dust cloud. But for the most part, deep space is full of just that. Space, and alot of it. If you are knocked out of warp for some reason during your travels you will exit into deep space, and you'd better hope your attackers are gentle, because if not, you may not see another star system for quite some time. LOCATION: Deep Space is in between any and all destinations unless a person has been traveling for enough days to reach a system by the time they are taken out of warp. PEOPLE: Chances are you'll meet two or three kinds of people in Deep Space. Pirates, rogues, and criminals, someone who answered your distress call and will help you, or the dead hulls of broken ships floating endlessly in the void. CLIMATE: It is very cold...in space. RESOURCES: Massive resources can be found in deep space, especially if you manage to find a dead hulk of a ship in the area to salvage equipment from. Though, this is almost NEVER the case. Other than that, its very cold, and very barren in this department. OTHER SYSTEM INFORMATION: The first thing you should do when entering Deep Space is to worry about your way out, because without that, you will likely become much more used to the void than you'd ever want to be...

kalinin had finally going to listening to the soundtrack that his friend have given before he left for starbase 12. it had been a couple of months since he a had left star base 12 for the colony and he was under half way to his destination. However there was a major problem. He was bored. He had read the majority of the material he had brought with him and listened to most of the music of the computers library. he had put off listening to the soundtrack as it was a piece of earth music from the 20 century from a place called England. ‘computer time to destination ?’ ‘ arrival is estimated in 56 days if currant speed is maintained’ ‘thank you computer. Please complete a scan of the surrounding area for anything out of the ordinary’ ‘verb text not recognised’ ‘just scan the area’ ‘affirmative’ While kal know his chance were low , he know that he could, just be chance, come across a great discovery by complete luck. True to this date all he had found was dust, ice crystals and a traffic cone . but you had to look to find ‘scan complete . 20 ppM of carbon found ,nitrogen mater ‘yes thanks computer that will be all’ Oh well maybe tomorrow kal thought as he put the music on

‘WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU , ROCK U BABY You got mud on your face you big disgrace walking around like you own the place’
‘Computer pause playback’ Kalinin order the computer . he had been listening to the piece of music for sometime now ,he had originally been surprised at for good it was. ‘begin recording’
Kalinin Personal log , stardate 61435.4,Uss Orwell ,on route to beta Cestus III. I am now nearing my destination , after nearly 100 days of living on the runabout I am looking foreword to being able some fresh air instead of the recycled kind. Starfleet may say it’s the same but you can feel the difference. At any rate it will be nice to stretch my legs to con a term. However I hope not to stay to long before collecting my cargo for the colony and collecting my credits. Up to this point nothing has happened but I will log my scans of the system will be added to the computer library as the sector is still new to Starfleet. End log’
‘computer continue playback’

Ryuma sat at his captain's chair, bored out of his mind. He didn't have to abide to the speed limit, but it was still taking too long for his tastes. However, he still needed the money. He had... plans that couldn't be put into action without the proper funds. If it meant flying around doing errand boy missions, he'd do it.
"...god damn."
He just wished something interesting would happen, like his men getting into a fight with eachother. Ryuma wouldn't mind stunning some people and tossing them in the brig.

It would be then that Ryuma's ship would get a hail, a message. And it would likely be one he didn't want to hear.
Unidentified Vessel, you are entering a restricted area of space. Turn back now, or be destroyed.
The message was quick and to the point. What would Ryuma do to react? And where was the signal coming from?

"Gilder..."
"Of course. Men, scan for enomolies and find this hidden threat. Ryuma, perhaps you should let me take command for the time. Things will probably go awry, and you don't have the best battle experiance."
Ryuma scoffed, getting out of his chair.
"Hmph. I'm still the captian."
The sensors picked up the enemy ship almost immediatly.
"Sir, there's an anamoly... right above us."
Gilder scratched his beard for a moment, contemplating what to do. It was then he momentarily opened hailing frequencies.
"This is Gilder of the SS Essential. We understand and are proceding to leave the restricted zone."
Closing the channel again, he paused a moment before speaking to his crew.
"Turn towards them, Make it look as though we're backing out, then fire all weapons once we're in range."
"Aye, Captain."
Ryuma glared at the ensign.
"HEY! I'm still here!"

Commander, they are heading our way...
The Commander of the ship stared coolly at his viewscreen.
Continue to follow them... If they've spotted us, we don't want to give them the opportunity to fire. Stay in their blind spot...
Yes, Commander...

"Sir, they're following us."
"No matter. They haven't opened fire, so they don't know we've spotted them yet. Continue the course for a few moments, then reverse directions. Hopefully they won't notice right away and we'll sneak under them."
"Aye."

Drop cloak and raise shields. If they attempt to move off, stay with them and keep them in their undefended section.
Commander, would that not be taking a hostile action, and also be compromising our safety?
Logically speaking, if they were serious about leaving this area they would have done so already by going to warp. They clearly intend to fight us, and have likely spotted us due to their continued presence. Thus, as our cloak no longer serves its purpose, we should change our tactics.
Yes Commander. Dropping cloak now and raising shields...
The Talon Class scout ship would suddenly decloak above the Klingon vessel. Its shields were not yet up, but as they were in an open gap on the opposing vessel's defenses, they had little to worry about in the way of damage...

"Damnit... just warp us out of here. Continue our previous course; we don't have time for this."
"What if they tractor beam us? We'll just tow them along through their space... and we'll be in front of their weapons."
"...okay, do what the 'captain' says. Ignore the fact that we can't do much of anything against shields."
"..."
And thusly the SS Essential would engage warp, ready to cross into restricted space.
