Zack sighed, putting the rest of his supplies in his rather large backpack. New pencils and charcoal for sketching was a must, especially if he was going back out into the wilderness again. And, you know, all that other trivial stuff such as food and toothpaste. Plus, he got more film for his camera as well! Zack laughed softly to himself, standing up with the heavy pack on his shoulders. It wasn't too bad carrying it. He was pretty much use to it by now.
'Hmm...Well, now where do I go?' He wondered silently, idly watching trainers walk by with their Pokemon. Some of them would look wonderful if he could get them to pose outside of the city! Zack gasped, his eyes falling on a Houndoom. 'Ohh, what a lovely shine on it's fur! And those markings!' He smiled, watching as it walked by with it's owner. That Pokemon was in perfect condition! Perfect for a picture! He watched the Pokemon, biting his thumb as he tried thinking about how to possibly approach it's trainer to allow him to take pictures.
He blinked, then glanced up and saw the pair had vanished. "OH no!" He looked around, standing on tip toe in hopes of seeing the trainer over everyone, but alas, they had vanished. Zack pouted, then sighed in a depressed sort of manner. "Well, thats what you get for hesitating." He scolded himself. "Never hesitate!"
He sighed heavily, then started out, walking past the stores and houses till he'd finally left the more predominate 'city' atmosphere. With a sigh, Zack started relaxing. The breeze here was clean and fresh, cooling. His hair billowed out behind him, and Zack closed his eyes, content. "This...Is much better." He murmured softly, sighing, before suddenly finding himself face to face with the ground. "Ow!" He whimpered, sitting up as best he could with the massive bag on his back, looking back at what he'd tripped over.

The soft rustling of bushes and a delicate snort drifted towards the young watcher as a pokemon came out into the open from the forest brush. A rare sight she was to behold:
Staring at the fallen human with curious mutli-colored eyes, the flaming mane and tail of the young mare cast a crimson glow on the path, and trunks of the trees surrounding her. Pawing at the ground, the light made the flame-like markings surrounding her hooves and the teardrop on her forehead on a pure white coat stand out.
Ears flicking, she snorted again but made no move to walk off.

Zack blinked, looking at the Ponyta with wide eyes. "Wow..." He slowly slid his pack of, scooting it around to dig out his camera. "Hey there, beautiful." He said softly, bringing the camera up to snap a picture of her. He smiled brightly, slowly getting to his feet, so as not to scare the Ponyta away. "Where'd you come from, huh?" He asked, scooting around to get another shot from the side.
"Do you like treats?" Zack asked, reaching into his shorts pockets to pull out some Poke Treats he'd bought while in town, holding some out in hopes she'd come to him to get them. "I bet you'll love them. They're really tasty." he said in a gentle voice. He hadn't known there were Ponyta around here. Then again, he really didn't know what was from around here! He'd never been here before.

Pawing at the ground again, the young mare paced towards the unknown human and sniffed at the offered treats. Eyeing the black box in his hands, the "wild" Ponyta delicately took a few treats and swallowed them before standing up straight again.
Stomping on the ground, she watched the human with mischief in her eyes before reaching down and tugging at the camera strap. Nibbling on the strange-tasting cloth, she stopped and backed up before trotting off in the direction she had come from.

"Ah! W--Wait!" Zack called, running after the Ponyta. He snatched his bag up, throwing it onto his shoulders before starting after her, his camera still in his hands. He tried keeping up with her, following the glow from the Pokemon's mane and tail to keep from losing her. "Aww, please wait?" He asked the Pokemon, before sighing and stopping. His bag was too heavy for a high speed chase! maybe he should have just left it back on the road.
Sighing, he looked up, glancing around the forest. Now where was he? He shook his head, slowly continuing to walk. Hopefully, he'd find the Ponyta again. If not, maybe some more Pokemon would happen across his path? He could hope.

As the Ponyta disappeared towards a clearing a few feet away, the branches above rustled as something bounced from tree to tree. It fell silent for a few seconds before......a golden/yellow form jumped down from above, wearing a shoulder bag filled with berries.
"Raichu rai?" Scampering closer, the male Raichu stared at the human with his one good eye. He sniffed and sneezed before waddling towards and picking up the shiny metal box. Staring into the front lense, his paw caught onto the shutter switch and, with a bright flash of light, took his own photo.
"RAI!" Startled, the pokemon almost dropped the expensize equipment.

Zack gasped, holding his hands up. "Hey little guy...Can I have that back?" He smiled, crouching down and pulling out more treats. "Here...we'll trade?" He smiled again, looking the Pokemon over. The poor thing sure was scarred up something fierce...
Was this Raichu a dominate leader of a family group? Zack's eyes lit up. To get Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu all together would be a wonderful photo moment! He nodded, smiling down at the Raichu, then blinked, looking at the bag of berries on his back. How odd....wait a second!
"Do you have a trainer around here?" He asked the pokemon, looking into the creatures eyes, feeling bad as he realized it was blinded in one eye.

Perking up at the word "trainer", the Raichu rapidly nodded and stood up. Giving the camera back to the human, he reached up and tugged on the edge of the humans' shirt and darted off a few feet before stopping and glancing back. Ears twitching, he watched the other human before another pokemon made an appearance:
It was the Ponyta from before! Trotting over to the Raichu, she snorted and neighed at the electric pokemon before glancing over at the human. If these two knew one another, maybe they came from the same trainer, And judging from the pokemon's behavior, that trainer was nearby.

Zack felt a slight let down that the Pokemon were owned. He'd been hoping to see them in their family groups...But this was still awesome. He could ask if he could get some more pictures and sketches! Zack stood up, putting the camera around his neck, he walked after them, being careful not to trip over any tree roots.
He smiled at the Pokemon. "So, your Trainer's around, huh?" He asked, looking them all over. They were really lovely Pokemon. He still felt bad about the Raichu. He was so beaten up, it made his heart hurt to see. But it was part of the life for Pokemon who weren't wild. Then again, even wild Pokemon fought. Just not as often, as far as he knew. Zack looked around, following the Pokemon curiously.
