Okay guys! The time has come for your mighty Lord Necros and myself to start on the ever-promised guild revisions. Keep your eyes open and peer in every once in a while. I'll keep you updated here in this thread on the changes we're making. For starters, I'll go ahead and list the changes we have made so far.
1. We have created a new Recycle Bin
2. We have moved all locked, unused, and outdated threads into said Recycle Bin.
3. We are working on locating pictures on the internet to represent each arena.
4. We have changed the Training Grounds to be Battle Areas.
5. We have created a "Training Ground" for guildmembers who need a little guidance in the art of RPing.

UPDATE: A few decisions on future Army Affairs
MULE FRIENDS - After some discussion, Lord Necros, Sayshana, and I have come to a few decisions. First of all, no announcements will be sent to anyone who is not on the friend list of the guild mule (necroninarmy) after the initial announcement we will make to tell you that we have finished revisions on the guild. I know that seems harsh and I am completely aware that no one wants mules on their friends list, but since Gaia has not provided a feature for Captains to be able to mass mail their guild, this is our only option. By friending the mule, you allow me to send the announcements to multiple people at one time. You cannot mass mail people not on your friends list. It's annoying but most likely was designed to keep spammers from running wild on Gaia. When we have finished, we will list all the names of the people who are guild members not on the necroninarmy friend list so other guild members can, if they choose, notify those people. Here's how I personally view this: I cannot be expected to send out 90 different PMs for every update to the guild, and people who would prefer not to make the job easier by friending the mule can check the guild regularly for the announcements or have someone else notify them because I don't have the time to notify every member of the guild individually.
MULE PROFILE - from not on, only guild members who have posted at least once in the guild will be pictured on necroninarmy's profile. Everyone else will only have their name displayed. If you want to be on the profile, I suggest you get to posting wink .

UPDATE: necroninarmy Profile
Hello Necronin Warriors!
Just thought I'd let you know what I did today. I have started modifications on the mule profile. I have already updated the guild member list and have added all the pictures of the elligible guild members to the profile. If you're picture is not up and you want it to be, all you have to do is either donate or post in the guild. I will be altering the background as well so be warned that it may look completely different tomorrow!

Update: Fantastic Videos Thread
After a few complaints that there was nothing to do on here, I decided to include a few of my personal favorite videos on youtube and put them under the Fantastic Videos thread on the home page. Don't get too comfortable with the videos where they are because it is likely we will be making a new subforum for them before very long. Right now everything is Resident Evil Themed, but I also intend to look up some of my other favorite franchises and include videos of them. Enjoy!

Update! Mule Profile
I changed again who is on the mule profile to display only people who have acchieved the rank of "Private" or higher. There's just so many of you otherwise . . . I won't be cutting any more people off now, this is how it will stay. Also! You may or may not care, but I have arranged all the people on the page by what rank they are. Lah.

UPDATE! Rank Update and New Way to Earn Merits
Now, you can earn merits by posting in our "Propaganda Thread" out on the Registered Guild Forum. Rates are a lot higher, giving 1 merit per 2 posts! Also, we have two promotions with this update, hungry hungry hippos has been promoted from Recruit Private to Private and IStevofoxonoI has been promoted from Private to Private First Class. Congrats guys!
Note: The mule profile has not been updated, since it is a pain in the a**, but I will do it as soon as I get a chance.

Lol, I didn't do it all at once. I've been working on it for a couple weeks before I actually launched it. I put together an excel file that I just have the numbers on to update. For example, I have a column for the number of posts each person has made and then I have another column with a formula in it that divides the first column by 5, giving me the numer of merits a person gets for each post. . . which is 1/5 or .2. Okay, so that sounds complicated, but its not, just time consuming for the initial setup. It only takes me about an hour to update it, but I make no promises on being able to keep up with it, lol. Oh, and congrats on your 800th post!

Update: Guild Ranks, New Way to Earn Merits
Okay Guys, I've updated a few aspects of the Ranks. ~Cha~rly~ suggested that the Generals be displayed, so I have done so, and also included "starred" general ranks so I guess that we can continue climbing, too. As a result, I made a new rank chart. Also, I made it possible for people to earn points by posting in the propaganda forum. As a result, I had to add a few columns to the rank chart, so its even bigger than ever and also needed to make a new key for it.
So, we have a few people recieving points this week:
~Cha~rly~ - posting (3), mule donation (38 ), contest participation (5)
IStevofoxonoI - posting (6)
