[ ] My doggie has either a popped blood vessel or an ear infection, so there's this huge bubble in his ear that needs to be removed. We're taking him in on Wednesday so they can fix it.
And since I like showing him off:

My old dog kept getting stung in the ear by wasps but that was the only thing we ever needed to take him in for...

[ ] If it's going to be anything like when he got fixed before we took him home from the pound, he'll probably be really perky afterwards. ^^;;; Still, I feel bad for him. The one ear is being weighed down by that thing... [ ]

Aww, that blows, I have a dog who's name is Forest. We adopted him, they called him Forest after Forest gump, because his legs have buckled in because of children grabbing him by the legs and swinging him around. I aslo have two hedgehogs, and two other dogs. One of the other dogs was rescued before he was used as pit bull fighting bait. His brother wasn't so lucky, he's missing an eye and one ear. His name is hope. I can't find his picture though.

[ ] Sounds like your poor dogs have been through a lot...At least they have a good home now!
Wally was found on the side of the road somewhere, so they didn't know much about him. We think that Dumb Friends League named him after the older brother from Leave It To Beaver. It suited him, so we just kept the name that they gave him. [ ]

[ ] Well, the poor little guy came home yesterday evening. He couldn't stop whining and the lamp shade around his head was driving him nuts. He kept running into things in an attempt to get it off (Or just on accident; he was keeping his head down so he needed help getting on his pillow and up the stairs). I got him a new toy because I'm nice like that. He's feeling a lot better today. [ ]

Animals + Cones = SAD AND PITIFUL. D: My friend Jimmy's dog Holly had a cone on her neck the last time I went over to his house. She's a self-mutilator and was starting to gnaw at one of her feets that's left. She's only got three of 'em... D:

Yeah, one of my friends lives on a farm with alot of great danes. One of them had to have a cone, so what he did was go drink water, he bent his neck down, and covered the entire bowl so only he could get some. it was hilarious.

I feel bad for coned animals. I'd go nuts if I had to wear one... x_o I can only imagine how bad it is for a dog trying to eat or getting up the stairs

KirliaEmi I hope Wally's doing fine. heart [ ] Oh, he's doing fine. My mom took him in for his follow-up appointment and apparently the vet was impressed with how quickly he was healing and how he didn't have an ear infection from the surgery.
We took the cone off of him the day after the surgery. They thought that he'd come in with that thing on because he has the tendency to try and scratch his ear. We just kept an eye on him.
