  [ Continuing form the Shop Thread] Duncan had walked for a while hoping that the Mare had followed. It was then that he realized that while he had been talking of peanuts and donuts he had never introduced himself. As the wind blew past them he could smell some sort of sweet fruit nearby. Duncan believed it to only to be right that he introduce himself before they set to eating. He turned his head so he could see the mare and also see where he was going out of the corner of his eye. "By the way, my name is Duncan!"

Cyrille nodded ,at the stallion, infront of her." Yes, you are Duncan, which is a nice name and I am called Cyrille which is very nice as well," she replied then trotted forward so she was right next to him then looked over and smile " So where are we going, or do you not know?" she asked.

Duncan gave a small laugh. "To tell you the truth I have no clue where I am going." He paused and raised his head to scent the wind. Cyrille... That is indeed a nice name... he thought to himself as he tried to catch the sweet smell once again. He could smell it, but barely. If only he could smell like the two-legers dogs could, then he would have no problem finding food for them. "I could smell something sweet on the wind, I assumed it was fruit, but now it is real faint."

Cyrille shook her head from side to side and snorted "I don't know if that is good or bad because I haven't the foggiest idea where to go myself," the mare laughed out, then trotted forword and moved around Dunan. She noticed that he kept sniffing and began to do so herself. "You smell food, or is your nose just twitchy?" she asked.

"Well I thought I had smelled some food, or something sweet, but now I am not too sure." He stopped sniffing the air and lowered his head bashfully, believing himself to look like a fool. "I, um..." He didn’t know quite what to say to recover from his personal embarrassment. "We should probably continue. Food can’t be very far from here." Duncan gave Cyrille a soft smile and began to walk slowly forward. He wanted to find her some food quickly but he didn’t want to leave her behind at the same time.

Cyrille smile shyly and Duncan and followed behind him. She began to sniff the air herself, to see if she too could smile something good to eat, or something to it at all. She certainly wasn't in going to eat grass, that was just gross. " I am sure there is food around here, I just hope it's good." she said and sniffed the air. Then she darted infront of the stallon, reared up, hopped up in down a few times then started running. "Come on!"

"Wait!" Duncan called out as he took off in a swift gallop to catch up to Cyrille. "What is it?" He called out after her. He was confused by her actions, though he knew that if she was trying to get away from him she probably would have neglected to say 'Come on'. And did she just hop? Duncan grinned and began to pick up his pace, the adrenaline in his system screaming this was a game, and he liked games.

Cyrille turned back to look at Duncan, while she galloped towards the delicious treat she had just smelled. There were a few things she loved to eat, and one of them was apples. Not just any apples, these were a certain kind of apple, though she didn't know what they actually were called. "Hurry hurry up!" she yelled back at him. "I can smell the most delicious apples I have ever had" The mare was so excited about this she was practically flying forward.

Mmm... Apples. It was one of the few fruits he could eat without his head getting stuck in a bush. "Alright, alright, I'm going as fast as I can!" He called out in between timed breaths. Keeping control of his breathing was key to running long distances, and it is what usually helped him win races. He quickened his pace and ran as fast as he could yet he somehow could not catch up to the mare in front of him that seemed to glide effortlessly over the grass. No matter what breathing exercises he did, he knew he would not catch up to her until she stopped. She was faster than anyone he had seen before.

Cyrille turned back and laughed at Duncan, who was attempting to catch up to her. She turned back and started towards the delicious sent she had detected. After a few moments she stopped abruptly, slid forward about 6 ft, then leaped up and snatched a yellow, almost golden apple off a tree and ate it happily. Then glanced around to see where Duncan was before snatching another rather large one .

Duncan slowed his pace a bit as the apple tree came into sight. Cyrille had beaten him there and was munching away on an apple. Keeping a quick, steady pace Duncan made his way over to the mare, a small smile beginning to spread across his face.
Duncan raised his head to a low lying branch and carefully plucked a ripe yellow green apple from the branch. The apple gave a crisp crunch as he took a bite of the tangy sweet fruit. Oh how he loved apples.
He was quiet for a moment as he ate, but then something that had been nagging at him came to mind. After Duncan finished his first apple he turned to the Cyrille. "Um, I don’t mean to sound... Well... I guess rude, but why do you keep jumping and hopping? Is something wrong?"
