So, I'm wondering how many people here play Magic. I've played since spring of this year. Sort of.
Rather, I know how to play and played with my sister for a few months, but now she won't play with me anymore for some reason and I'm irritated. >/ None of the very few friends I have that live in my city will even TRY to learn to play it.
So yeah, I hate everyone. =D <3
So, any of you play it? =P If so, what's your favorite color?

Ooh, that's brutal. O: You're obviously a lot more experienced than I am.
I just have a jumble of random blue stuff that I thought looked interesting. :/ I wish I had some people to play with so I could getter better. Or have a reason to get more cards. Feels like a horrid waste buying them, when I have no one to play with.

Oh I was an expert, but I never bothered going to tournaments. The last thing I needed to go to was a place filled half way with nerds, and the other half with B.O.
I had some twenty decks, gave many of them away. Funny thing though, My decks didn't lose, like ever, except to one of my decks. In high school I ended up bringing 5 decks to school.
Sometimes I had a good King of the hill game. In which case if I'm one of the kings, our side wins. My Spirit deck would let me sit there and recycle two cards each time healing me hurting them, letting me play land tap my opponents creatures untap land, and pump my creatures stronger. I could come out of there with 500life easy.

That sounds sort of like how I used to be at YGO. Well, until I realized it was a horrid, horrid game. Unbalanced and whatnot.
=/ But I had year long winning streaks on a couple occasions. I assume it's because I was awesome at it and everyone else just sucked. x] Haha.
I used to play around with black a bunch, but I got bored of it sort of quickly. I made a lame Skeleton deck. =/ Only real strategy was to block the bejesus out of people until I could bring out a Nightmare.
Lame, I know, but eh. Dx My card pool isn't exactly grand. Haha

Well I suggest zombies over skelingtons.
undead warchief: All zombies you control get +1/+2, it's pretty sweet, not to mention that you can sit there and recycle your grave diggers.

Oh, no, I know that completely. If I had any, I'd have made that. =/ I was looking through WotC's gatherer program and found that card. I've wanted to make a deck based around zombies ever since. It's just that it feels stupid to buy the cards when I have no one to play with, like I said.
...Odd that I'd want to make a zombie deck, that's what I used in Yugioh as well. <<; Though "zombie" refers to every kind of undead in that game. *sighs at stupid translations*

I had a Yugi-oh deck for a week, never spent a dome on it. Basically I'd whoop people with my baseball kid. oh yeah, anything that had four stars or more was always in defense mode until you destroyed some of my magic card.
Magic is my true passion... now if I could find those damn cards.

Even though I have very limited experience with it, I VASTLY prefer Magic to YGO. Everything is just way more balanced. Creatures survive longer than they do in YGO. ._.; It's just..ugh. I don't even know why I played that game, other than that I kicked a** at it.

Yeah well there are some cards I suggest you get if you use black.
Terror is a good one, destroy target non-black, non-artifact creature. for a cost of one and a swamp. dark banishing is just as good, cost one extra mana, but the creature can't be regenerated.
I'm sure there are a few good skellington card, I haven't seen all of them yet though, I'll look around the web some time if I have a chance for you.

I have a few Dark Banishings, actually. =/ I could probably use more help with a Blue deck, since that's what I want to use.
<<; I need to buy that new-ish blue core deck with Arcanis the Omnipotent in it. I ADORE that card's art. Plus it seems spiffy as hell. xD Haha

Could always use a counter spell. Two islands, counter the spell. Another suggesting is  Draw all the cards you want =D

Yus, I was considering using a drawing deck, but I don't have a lot of cards that take any sort of advantage from drawing a crapload of cards. (Not that drawing a bijillion cards a turn is a bad thing ANYWAYS).
The main Blue card I have that would take advantage of it is probably Aeon Chronicler...Even then, I think it seems nifty, but n00bs of card games often see good in complete garbage, so I'm not even sure about that. x]
I'm not entirely sure, but I may have an Archivist or two..I'd have to go through my cards to see though, but I'm too lazy. XD I got a huge bundle thinger for 40 bucks early this year, had like 2,000 cards.
Edit: Err, the second card didn't load for some reason until after I posted. That...is a pretty combo. xD <3

Yeah It's been a bit jumpy on me too. It seems to be working alright now.you may want to add a sheilding Phlanx so your opponents can't hit it with anything nasty.
A spell book is useful as well. No maximum hand size you know?
