I have found that some in the lolita community resent those in the ganguro or kogal groups. Why is this? I think it is cute depending on who it is, but definately not for me. Why is this? Why do the people who are suppose to be know as cute, sweet individuals hold such hostillity? If you are one of these people, why do you feel this way? I am very curious.

Lolitas are not supposed to be known as nothing. It's only the look that fools the people standing by.
I don't have anything towards gyaru. There is some sort of on-going dislike against the two groups because their clothing style and their "attitudes" contrast each other.

Just because someone looks cute doesn't mean that they're going to be very nice at all. Conversely, it doesn't mean that someone who looks awful is going to be evil and mean. I mean, the lolita communities are pretty notorious for their snark, wank, drama and general cattiness--it's just what happens when you put a bunch of girls together with expensive clothes, regardless of the style of choice.
As to the dislike, I think that that's a bit generalized, as well. Probably it's what Amani said and relates to a clash in the style more than an actual genuine "feud" the way that you're making it sound. ^^;

Why would I hate them for simply being Kogal?Their just dressing the way they want and doing their own thing as just as lolitas and every other person does,to hate them for such a silly reason is ridiculous.

Perhaps it is much like the steryotypical clash of the punks and the preps? I am not sure. But I have definately sensed a bit of hostility in the past from some lolitas towards kogals.

It's sad that there'd be hostility between Lolitas and Kogals. I mean, sure, there are really bitchy Kogals, but some Lolitas can be very mean too.

You sure you're not confusing people debating mixing the styles with people actually HATING gyaru?...
There's no feud.
I don't have anything against them - they can dress however they want. It's not my problem. Some of its cute, some of its not. Depends on the person and how well they pull off the style. Just like lolita.

I am not a big fan of yamanba gals, but I like some of the more toned down style. I actually look okay in those styles since I have tan skin sweatdrop I don't really understand the loli vs gals thing. Personally I think it is pretty similar to the American stereotype wars like goths vs valley girls. Some people are really against one another and others just don't see the point. But yeah, I am neutral.

The makeup gets good on some people, dont get me wrong. But the really intense ones scare me. ><

*shrugs* I don't hate them but I don't want to be around them either. They well the style with all the makeup reminds me of clowns and I HATE clowns. *shivers* Nothing against the style they can do as they want. Its nothing against them honestly its my own phobia that keeps me away.
