I love both of them. I would say that I like Shippuden better though because they're older, but I mainly like Shippuden because of the character development and story of the first one. Then again Shippuden has the Akatsuki...omg. I'm going to go in circles.

Since they're older in Shippuuden it is much more believable that the characters such as Neji, Gaara, etc. are Jonin level or higher. In the original they were all simply too young to take on enemies of Akatsuki level.

mostcharmed someone plz tell me who akatsuki is???????????? They're the organization of outcasted ninja who are collecting the tailed demons...Itachi and Kissame are the only ones you'll really see in the first Naruto series (Orochimaru used to be a part of them too).

I like them both, but I like the Shippuden series better.
It has better character development, better story play, and it's just plain better.
