Circles, forever circles that would not end. Sighing the black mare tred through hte night, weaving through the forest heading towards the stream. She was tired, thirsty, and alone again. She even contemplated howling at the moon, attempting, to try and bring her wolf companion back from her time away.
Rage at least hoped the wolfess was happy.
Craning her neck over silver eyes watched as hte crystal water gleamed over the pebbles beneath its surface.
Time kept passing by.

Not to far from the mare stood a stallion with the same lingering thoughts. He was hopeless, lifeless, but he was content. His emotions had been very relaxed lately, so his twitching and spazzing was also very contained. To be a peace was a strange feeling, but Spade also felt a strange wave of depression.
It seemed the world could not negotiate a happiness for him, and that alone left him flustered and annoyed.
He smelled the mare quickly, and he returned himself to the current from his hazy daze of thoughts. After moving himself closer to the smell, he finally saw the familiar figure, and he stopped at a limited distance before speaking. "Ah yes, you." It really had been some time since he had seen the mare, but Spade was controlled this time, so he felt able to speak out to the creature.

Voices, voices were everywhere, form others, in her dreams, in her thoughts. For a moment Ryu'Rage thought that a voice was speaking to her from her conscious mind, though turning her head slightly silver eyes settled on the familiar bright red figure of the stallion she had met before, yet he seemed calmer.
That was good, she was tired.
Tired of many, many things.
"I remember you..." she watched him for a moment, raised her head, shoulders slumped forward, she didn't want to try and press her luck, pressure him if she could help it. "You seem well..."

Spade chuckled, since the mare seemed very cautious at his coming over. "You don't have to worry, I am much different from last time.." with a light shudder, he shook his head before eying the mare carefully. "But you.. you seem the same."
It was funny, since he didn't know the mare at all. Last time all they did was yell at each other, and Spade might have even gotten physical. He really was a menace, but thankfully those pathetic days were over, and he could finally concentrate on better things in life.
"I am sorry if I hurt your feelings last time." There.. that seemed like the right thing to do.

Ryu'Rage just sort of stared at him for a moment, not from his first comment but his second. Silver hues settled on him as she slightly tilted her head to one side, not moving forward but not moving back. "I don't know what of myself I can change, no one seems to tolerate my presence much though a certain silver blue mare insists on I venturing out..." though she was petrified of it still.
"But..." she began, watching him carefully, making sure this was no trick, "no one...has ever stated that to me before..." her voice was soft, tender, sincere.
No one had ever shown her that sort of kindness.
She took a step closer, watching him, his twitch in his neck see to have faded.
"Better then last time meaning the different, yes?"

"Yeah well, I know.. where you come from, and what that feels like. I know all of those things too well." He nodded his head solemnly, while remaining calm at the females now closer presence. It felt good to show kindness, especially to another who had never received it. It wasn't until Spade had felt the kindness of that mare.. the mare who showed him the way to forgiveness. He was eternally thankful, and would continue to strive on those ideals to the others around him.
"I suppose, though to me different is always better." Yes.. he was different, and that was better. Different in all aspects when he really thought about it.. "Why, are you different?" he then asked, while tilting his head. He could tell she was conflicted, but about what he had no idea.

"Because I have no one, and its my fault..." she let her eyes fall onto the water again, flowing, fulfilling its purpose, but where was hers? Surely she had to have some greater purpose in herself, her soul, her heart, even as battered and torn as it was. She ave a weak smile, and didn't look back just yet, "My mind..soul is torn, its what makes it difficult to be around others, I fear of what might happen if I lose control..."
She shook her head, and looked back at him, "Everyone has their own problems huh? I just don't know what to do about mine, surely others would see me as insane, cruel, a monster...you're the only one that seems to tolerate me..."
Strange, and in their first meeting, they fought.
"I'm glad for you though," she nodded, "Better is always good, perhaps someone has touched you grandly, perhaps someday the same destiny will befall me, but who knows right?" she said with a weak smile.
Tired, always tired and alone.
Least another was doing better, yes.

The mare was confusing to him, and he flicked his ears before pondering what to say. "It doesn't look like you will lose control, and it also doesn't look like you are insane or a monster. I don't really see that.." If anything, she seemed completely controlled, and was the complete opposite of how he used to act. But maybe that was just for right now?
"We have the ability to choose what fates we will conquer, and what fates we will fail at. If control is something you are struggling with, why not try and muster that strength?" It was worth a shot, and sometimes understanding one's negatives helped in the big scheme of things.
"Yes, someone did help me. I didn't understand until I saw it from their point of view..I was saved I suppose. I give them all of the credit." The many barriers and walls he put up were able to finally fall down and disappear. "It takes time, but change is definitely the best way to help and recreate a life. Is that what you desire?"

So much calmer, so much the wiser now. Too bad their first meeting had not been the same as this. "How you say it it seems so simple, though I'm afraid of it, I admit," she was ashamed of her fear. What would she be, if she was finally able to put back the shattered pieces of her memory, heart and soul?
Would she ever be the same?
"Being saved must be a wonderful thing..time just passes by," lives with time, everything passed on eventually, everything. She nodded, eyes focused on him as she did so,"Yes, I've tried before, and when I try I cannot be around others...I think I might hurt them, funny, yo don't seem to worry at all anymore, then again, you seems so much stronger than I am now."
He changed for the better.
Offering him a smile she tilted her head "So what does the time of tomorrow hold for you now?"

"You should confront your fears before they take over you. I know it seems impossible, but life is so much better once you do." To be accepted, even if by one other, was the greatest feeling in the world. Spade was able to finally see that himself.
"Either way, I hope you can overcome whatever is bothering you, I know I was in too much pain before, and its nice to get a burden off your back." The mare seemed even more flustered talking about it, and Spade truly wondered what was going on in her mind.
"As for the future, I have no idea. I guess I'll just take things as they come, instead of dread them like I used to. What about you? You.. I don't even know your name yet. I'm Spade." Wow, he must have skipped that part completely! He figured it was alright, since he was just learning the whole 'conversing' thing.

Confront them, why did it sound so simple when it seemed like such an impossible task to her? Shaking her head some long strands of her black mane fell before her silver hues while she watched him. So much calmer, red, red was around her always, upon her, in her dreams, in her nightmares.
This red's name was Spade.
"Ryu'Rage..." she said simply, closed her eyes and opened them again, "Rage is fine, I like that part better," she'd only ever refer herself to as Ryu if something was wrong, but most didn't know that, thus finding her namesake of Rage more suitable for her...rather odd.
"I can hope to try," ears swiveling backwards, eyes looking up towards the stars, "But if I do, I can't be around anyone else, I have to be alone, or have someone to help keep me in bounds," keeping herself in bounds was hard enough, Rage knew she would never be able to do it alone, really alone.

Hmm.. this seemed like a very complex scenario. Maybe it was more complex then Spade's own discovery?
Either way, he was quiet for a moment, since he had no idea how to help the mare. "Do you have any family or anything, anyone who could help you out? I mean my family sucks, but family works for some others I suppose." With a nod, he threw the idea out there, wondering what else could work.
"Some people also have friends? Do you have any of those?" Spade wasn't the expert on that either, since he didn't find friends as very important. "Or maybe it is something you will have to do yourself? Some are strong enough for that."

Ryu'Rage shook her head, eyes hiding behind her long mane, eyes that were focused away from him, but at the stream gain, water glinting, always flowing, always having a purpose, somewhere to go, pebbles to call companions. The world was so strange as it was. "No, they died...a long time again," all of them, yes, she could remember, she'd never forget, never.
"Not really, I fear if I get close to anyone, I might lose them too...a wolf though, but a new male friend has taken her away from me too," she had herself, this place, the forest, the seclusion.
She had herself.
"I guess I can try again...perhaps it might work better this time," yes, she could try.
"And what for you? This other who helped you, have you shown them gratitude for their actions?"

"Oh, I am sorry to hear that. It seems you have been through a lot in your life." Spade quieted himself, and listened to what else the mare had to say. Ah, she had a wolf? He had seen the help of smaller animals before, so that was a positive thing. "Your wolf was taken away? Why?" He wasn't sure if he misinterpreted that wrong, but he spoke out before thinking about it.
"You never know until you try.. and I tried to show the mare some kind of gratitude, but, it was late, and she needed to rush home. I have seen her though, and whether she knows it or not, I've been protecting and watching her. I suppose that is sort of creepy.." he paused, and shook an itch off his neck. "But I would be too depressed to see someone like her get hurt. That would just be awful."
"Is there a certain gratitidue I should be showing?" he then asked, while looking back at the mare. Maybe she had a better idea.

"A male wolf came..." she stated simply, watching him closely, he seemed kinder now, how strange how those changed so quickly, ah well, strange indeed but for the better it seemed, yes, for the better. "He came and it seems my wolf friend is fond of him, so she is gone...they have each other now..." seemed like her wolf had gained a better companion rather than herself.
Anyone else was better, least in the black mare's opinion.
"Not creepy, kind of you to do such a thing, its terrible for the good to be swiped away so quickly, it is good to watch her, you're strong, she should be fine," his muscles seemed so toned, he could take down anything in his path more likely.
"Gratitude can be shown in many ways, though not to be mixed with affection, unless that sort of thing comes into play," though she didn't know much about affection either.
