Spin Spin Spin! Battlefield Randomizer!
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE GRASS FIELD!
The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land.

Luna walked to her place in the arena - a small box marked out in white chalk for the trainers. She faced her opponent and smiled. "I haven't seen you here before! Are you new?"
She fiddled with two pokeballs in her pocket, rolling them back and forth with her fingers, trying to decide which one to use. Finally, she decided to take a pokeball out of her pocket and release the pokemon inside. "Prince!" She shouted.
The pokeball sprang open, releasing a red beam of light which slowly formed into a Pidgeot known as Prince, infamous for scarring other pokemon. He flew into the sky, spreading his wings wide and letting his large shadow come over the arena. "Geooooooooo!"

Lil also walked out and ook her place at the opposite side of her opponent. She lifted her head up and faced luna. " I guess you could say that, this is my second time here. Doesnt mean i wont try my best!"She grinned and nodded towards her opponent.
Lil was pondering which of her two to use, She used Enya last time. Watching the oponents pokemon was a flying type, she decided to fight fire with fire, or flying with flying in this case.
"Jalen!" She called opening the pokeball.
Forming out of the pokeball was a young looking, but stocky Pidgeyotto. He also flew into the sky facing the his opposing evolution. "Pidgey-oooooto!" He cried.

Not being one for waiting, the young pidgeyotto cried and swooped down flapping his wings, circling around his opponent.
"Jalen use Quick attack!"
Following orders he picked up a lot of speed, and attempted to hit Prince with the fast attack.

"Let's go Prince! Steel wing!"
"Geoooooo!" Prince cried out before dashin goff at Jalen. The two bird pokemon crossed each other, both attempting to slice each other in mid-air. Once he had passed Jalen, a cut appeared on Prince's cheek, but nothing too serious.

Jalen was hit with the steel attack on his wing, that area will defiantly bruise later.
"Jalen try a Gust!"
Flapping his wings, even the sore one, he tried to blow back the other with a mighty gust.

"Prince! Show him what a REAL wind attack is! Whirlwind!"
Prince snorted at the gust attack. Did that bird think that THAT could possibly hurt him? Prince spread his wings and gave two large thrusts, creating even larger and more chaotic winds that engulfed Jalen's winds. Invisible wind sickles sliced the area around Jalen, and hopefully, at Jalen too.

"Nooo!" Lil winced as she saw the Gust attack be over powered and seem to hurt her pokemon. "Jalen get out of that Whirlwind and use Wing attack!"
The attack hit, and hit decently. Jalen felt the wind cut across his right cheek, across his back one or twice, and maybe around his leg. The wounds whernt deep, so they shouldnt scar.
As he tried to get out of the attack, another scrape happened across his forhead. A large feather probably fell out with that last one. Ignoring the pain, he raced towards the larger bird pokemon with his wings spread, ready to strike.

"Prince! Knock him down with an airslash!" Luna shouted. She had full confidence that Prince would win this - the pidgeotto was just like Prince when he was one, impatient, forceful, and perhaps a bit cocky.
As the other bird approached him, Prince stared at him intently. He allowed the pidgeotto to slice past him. Prince's reflexes were good enough to veer a bit to avoid a direct hit, but a small scratch was made on his chest.
Before Jalen could distance himself from Prince, Prince darted upwards, his speed causing a compact area of wind shaped like and as sharp as a blade to head towards Jalen.

The attack hit straight on, it hit the male right on the wing joint. Any lower, and the attack probably would have ripped that wing right off. Instead there was a deep wound right above his shoulder. He started to cry out but clipped his beak together. The would on his wing made flying more difficult, he had to flap his one good wing harder just so he didnt slump down too far.
"Jalen! are you ok!?"
The pokemons eyes glared daggers at Prince, He nodded twice towards lil. Without waiting for lil to give an order, Jalen was rushing towards the opponent with a Tackle.

Prince winced as Jalen suddenly broke his trainer's orders and attacked on his own. He was like that too, but he and his trainers now communicated on a level where she trusted him to do moves. Like what he was going to do now. Prince started to glow while the two bird pokemon were still talon locked.
Before anyone knew it, Prince darted upwards, only leaving an after-image made of white energy. Or was it only an after image? Nope. It was a brave bird attack. One that would be exploding in T-5 seconds.

It wasnt that Jalen was disobeying his trainer, it was more or less he knew what to do. He trusted his trainer, and would do anything for her. This battle though, has turned more into a battle of pride.
Before he knew it, the other bird pokemon was glowing... and Ow, The attack exploded too!? Confused Jalen felt the pain on his body, but almost as if reacting on his own will... The two where still stuck together even after the explosion, So Jalen used Mirror Move and sent the same attack right back at Prince.

((Welllllll, it's in D/P. In the game, I believe a white shadow of your pokemon comes and swoops down at the other pokemon, so this is a variation of it domokun ))
Prince knew what to do. It was HIS attack after all.
"Go through it!" Luna and Prince thought simutaniously.
Prince darted through the weaker energy clone, pre-empting it's building energy for destruction and only causing slightly charred feathers. He sontinued straight for Jaden, his wings glowing with another steel wing attack.
