Riiiiiinnng!
Startled by the alarm clock, Dennis quickly hopped off the bed. He folded the sheets and put them on the bed. Scurrying, he opened his door to his closet, and yanked his jacket from the clothes hangar. "Bumbum bum..." He hummed as he slipped on his pants and walked down stairs of the tiny steps to the tidy house in the bustling city of Saffron.
"Good morning, honey." His mom greeted him. "Hi mom.. bye!" Dennis said rapidly as he slipped a muffin into his pocket. He burst out the door, ready to unleash the two Pokemon that he had caught and been given.
"Go Crest! I choose you!" Dennis yelled, throwing the ball out. The ball slowly opened while in the air, unleashing a blinding light that formed the shape of Sneasel's evolved form-- Weavile. It looked a little strange. No, it wasn't that his leg was deformed, or his eyes were plopping out, but it was the weird-looking tattoo he had on his right arm. But that's the reason Dennis called him Crest. The tattoo was the unique thing about 'em.
Next, he let out another Pokeball, this time a Pokemon that had a bad temper. "Go Sparky!" Dennis yelled. Once again, the Pokeball opened, a blinding light flickered before his eyes, but this time, a Raichu was formed. The Raichu wasn't quite visibly unique. It had a little more stripes than a regular, but the thing Dennis liked the most was the soothing eye color of the now big rat. He had gotten her as a Pichu, and it had evolved when he had battled against his friend Luna. And that name had reminded him of something...
"Oh yeah! I need to hurry up and go to the Town Square!" Dennis said. "Luna said she'd meet me there." He ran off, staring at the people of the city, wealthy women shopping, to construction workers carrying boulders. He slid through the people without a word or "Excuse Me", and his two fellow Pokemon followed. There were also a lot of Pokemon to see, but that wasn't really surprising. He grabbed on to a pipe while he turned to the Town Square. Finally, there weren't as many people here. It was just a small park, nothing less. Dennis took out a magazine as he waited for Luna to come meet him there.

"Hey Dennis!" Luna shouted from the air, riding on Prince. "Over there Prince!" Luna whispered to her Pidgeot, pointing to Popais direction.
Prince descended downwards, practically diving. When he got near the ground, he slowed down, taking large flaps to slowly bring himself and his trainer onto the ground.
"Soooo...this is Saffron?" She asked, looking around at the buildings, "It's a lot more urban than Viridian!"

"Of course!" Dennis bragged. "Saffron is a much better city than Viridian. It has a bunch of fun things to do. But that's not what we're here for, hm? Let's go to Celadon." Dennis walked next to Prince while he petted him. "Um, will he be able to carry both of us?"
Dennis grabbed his pocketbook by the flap. "Let's see, some points of interests are the Cycling Road, Safari Zone, and Pokemon Tower. "Some Pokemon that appears in the Cycling Road are... Snorlax, Spearow, Raticate, Doduo, and Rattata. And, if we have rods or if they come out of the lake, there are Slowpoke, Horsea, Magicarp, Krabby, and Psyduck. Of course, we're just gonna battle for training since we don't have any balls." Dennis sighed. "Anyway, on the Safari Zone, there are tons of Pokemon. Let's see..." Dennis flipped the page. "Oh, here it is. Umm, Venonat, Chansey, Rhyhorn, Nidorans, Oddish, Paras, Exeggecute, and Pinsir. And lastly, the Pokemon tower has some dead Pokemon like Gastly and Haunter. Then we can go automatically to Celadon and play the Coin Machines, and if I'm lucky, meet the pretty kimono-girl Erica." Dennis said, gazing at the picture of the Grass Gym Leader. "Anyway, where do you want to go first? Or do you want to go to Lavender or Fushcia to rest for a while?"

Prince stared at Dennis incredously. "My trainer alone weighs too much..." he said to himself.
"...Erica? Dennis, you have a crush on her or something?" Luna asked, laughing. "Well, we can go wherever you want first, all the places seem intersting. I never traveled outside of Viridian much, so I just want to explore my home region." She replied, pondering a bit.
"And...I'm not so sure Prince will be able to carry us both. But we can try. I just hope you haven't been eating too many sweets!" Luna teased her friend.

"Well... actually, I have eaten these so called magical fruit with spirits inside, it's supposed to be healthy, but it makes me feel queasy for some reason." Dennis joked. "Okay! The nearest is Safari Zone. Let's goooo!" Dennis said happily.
Crawling onto Prince, he remembered what Luna said earlier. "Hey! I don't have a crush on her! I just think she's cute." He blushed. "Anyway," He began grumpily. "We should start training there. Poor Prince, I think he'll only be able to carry Sparky. Don't worry, she's light." Dennis whispered to Prince. "Crest, return!" Dennis yelled. "Crest doesn't mind being inside a ball, he doesn't like height anyway."
Dennis didn't mention that he feared heights terribly.
