His cladded ears full of silver piercings shifting slightly as he stood upon a small hill that gave a perspective of the open valley. His tapered and tattered tail swayed behind him as his grey brows furrowed, staring off into the open terrain while his ocher eyes glanced towards the edge of thick forests, followed the river that snaked through the plains and noted both smoothed, worn and weathered mountains along with those whose peaks were jagged, tumultious and young. This place was unlike the mountains from which he came from and even the light, chilling breeze that whisped about carried such new and unfamiliar scents and aromas. Kimahri let a small rumble rise from his chest followed with a deep exhale through his nostrils just as a well sized creature slinked by him as its fur still held some moisture.

"Well," the otter began as he glanced upwards towards the unicorn with a casual smile. "Its better than staying up in the mountains, right? We can't stay there with Biran and the others and we might as well start over, right big guy?"

Kimahri knitted his brows slightly and gave a small nod of his head as he stepped forward a step or two followed by the clinking and soft clangs of the armor that adorned his body with an elegance and a fierceness in balance. He couldn't return home- he brought same to the herd and was the smallest of all the stallions and seemed to be the one that everyone looked down upon and was thought to bring dishonor as part of the Ronso herd for his broken horn. There was no way he could return, not now and, perhaps, not ever. But the thought of having to start a new seemed to cause him to clench his jowls slightly for a few moments until he began casually drifting through the plains.

"Kimahri wants to stay away from the mountain, Xeno. Kimahri will stay here," he spoke as he continued to survey the area, his voice low in tone as he meandered about.

The otter bit his lower lip, brows furrowing as he began scampering behind the stallion.

"We don't have to go back anytime soon! We can just stay here!"

"I like that."

For both stallion and otter, everything was so new and unfamiliar. It seemed to stir up the unspoken emotions within the stallion as his eyes lowered from time to time back upon the ground and it was easy to depict that something within his mind was plauging him and why little words seemed to trail from out of his maw could only make one wonder. It was only their first day in the open valley of such new lands and both began heading towards the river that cut through the valley as the light from the sun seemed to dance upon its surface with a purity and great zeal.

Xeno couldn't help but scamper faster towards the waters and plunge into its depths while Kimahri slowly came to the edge of the river and stood staring at his reflection for several moments until he snorted with a shake of his head and lowered his maw into the waters to drink.

So far their new home wasn't so bad.

She wasn't used to having someone following her around, but she felt a bit more safe with Sin at her side. The wolf kept his eyes alert and he didn't leave her side unless to go see what was making the bushes rustle.

The winged mare was ever greatful to her best friends family, letting Sin come protect her from the shadows in the darkness. So tired from many sleepless days she was desperately looking for some where to rest, but first a drink.

"Miss Anemone, please lets get a drink. Having you passout of dehydration does neither of us any good..You'll be safe." He promised.
She gave him a soft smile, the dark bruising around her ribs, a few missing feathers from her wings, she looked a bit beaten up. She couldn't take anymore baths to cleanse herself without giving herself a cold.

"Alright, your such a mother.." she teased as she nudged him with her muzzle, she could hide the winces of pain that coursed through her body, walking hurt, but sitting, and waiting for another attack was worse. She had to keep moving, with a sigh she looked around, ears perked.

"Theres a river no to far up ahead, " He said sniffling the air, "Smells like someones there though..if you want we can look else where." He looked up to her, green eyes concerned for his charge.

"No no, its...its alright." She gave him a reassuring smile.

The cool, refreshing water of the ever flowing river made him relax and the crips taste of the water yearned him to intake his fill until he was satisfied. Those weathered, silver-grey brows knitted as again his mind became thick with thoughts that he never quite vocalized as the stallion was rather quiet and reserved. As the watter dribbled from the side of the fur that tapered his cheeeks and under his chin, Kimahri flicked his ears slightly as a scent lingered within the air. It was something or someone unkown, he could tell and simply because he was the outsider to this area which made an unsettling churn in his stomach. He wasn't quite familiar with customs in these lands and still had much to learn but trouble was the last thing he needed.

Raising his head upwards as he rumbled slightly, tail flicking behind him with a stern and steadfast nature, the stallion stood in place and looked around. Already Xeno had caught Kimahri looking about and very aware that something was going on and glanced around and then up to the stallion.

"What's the matter big guy?" The otter asked as he leapt upwards and out of the river.

The stallion gave another rumble from his chest as his eyes narrowed to where he could see two figures a length or two away, eyes fixed upon them as he remained silent- standing there and simply watching as he shifted slightly and his cladded armor and adornment of accesories clinked and clanked.

Xeno looked in the direction and tilted his head slightly.

"Company," he shrugged. "Just be cool and if they make the first move, we fight back."

Kimahri remained standing in silence as he continued to watch the two. He didn't want to say anything and there wasn't much to say as he was the one who would be spoken to if he was in the wrong or if he had broken some strange, foreign law of the land. It seemed that the worst case scenarios of what could arise plauged his mind- causing the stallion to grit his jowls together and his body tense slightly. He had no desire to fight or to get into a scuffle about something stupid and without a horn he couldn't heal himself if things became a bit bloody. He was a shame to his past herd and to all unicorns.

What good was a unicorn without a horn? What good was a Ronso without a horn?

Kimahri figured sooner or later he'd find out.
