It had been very unexpected that when they came upon ehr parents she was pregnant, even more unexpected wa sthe fact that she gave birth to five cubs, five, it felt like a huge number and it had been a difficult time for the young lioness. Their cubs though were starting to grow nd she knew that soon enough they would be big enough to travel and they would be on the road again. She was happy of that, she like Haasani, couldn't stand to be in one place for too long, though she was enjoying the time with her parents, getting to know her siblings, letting her cubs live in a place of safty. These pridelands, theyw ere very safe.
Ruby red eyes opened slowly and she let a sigh roll over her lips, she would be sort of sad to leave this place but the world awaited and she had to see it, it just had to wait a little longer to receive her.

Hasani was pacing. He did this all day now a days, it was all he could do to stop himself from wandering off! He had a routine, which varied slightly everyday. Today, it was; wander around the children, wander to the watering whole, wander around the tree, wander back to the children, wander in a giant circle around the field, wander to the children again. He was just completeling his second round of 'Wander around the tree' when we sighed and fell over next to his mate, exausted for the moment.
Lolling his head, he looked over at her. "Hello, Pretty-eyes." He smiled, and his tail thumped rythmicaly slow on the ground to the pace of a walk.
He was going crazy, and he knew it. He tried not to show it too much, but, when you walk in circles everyday, its hard to hide the fact that you are crazy. He wanted to run, not becuase he was afraid of what he had here, but because he hadn't gone ANYWHERE for weeks! And... well, he was going a bit stircrazy from it all.

Kinamasi smiled and nudged her large hairy mate with her nose. "Hello to you too." She whispers grooming his cheek for a moment her deep ruby red eyes smiling. "You know Hasani, I think you need to be doing something." She laughed softly, the way she said such a thing, it sounded silly even to her ears.
"I know you're going nuts my love, sitting around all day, the cubs will grow all too soon and we will be back off in to the world." Sighing gently the dark femme groomed his cheek before she spoke again. "I have an idea, I think you may like it and if motehr aggrees you can perhaps get away for a few days hmm?" Her deep bloody red eyes glimmered happily.
"Why don't you take a couple of the cubs out in an explore, not too far Hasani just away from the pridelands out in to the world, an adventure for them. Motehr may insist that Father goes with you but it'll be fun, take a coiuuple of the boys out to see a little more of the world, and with two males looking after the cubs, they will be safe and you can both carry them if necessary." She tilted her head and gave a puurr. "Sound like a good idea 'sani?"

Stircrazy, deffinatly stircrazy.
He could have sworn that, while he was enjoying a small grooming from his dear Kinamasi, she had told him that he could wander off for a few days with a few of the cubs and his new father-lion. Really? Is that what he heard? He was quite tired, after all, and crazy. Musn't forget crazy. Surely she hadn't said that.
He turned his big fluffy head to look at her again, his eyes droppy with questionable assuance. "Go.... someplace?" He asked, slowly, but he himself wasn't sure if the words had come out the way he wanted.
"With the kids." He added, for good measure. "And Dad?" For he had now gotten in the habit of calling him dad or father, some sort of repressed need from his childhood days.

Kinamasi laughed softly as her mate spoke, a soft glimmer in those ruby red eyes. She knew that Hasani was having trouble adapting, struggling being in one place for such a long time. "Of course, I trust you Hasani, I'm sure a couple of the young males would happily follow you off in to the big wide world." She puurred softly grooming his cheeks. "You and father can teach them so much about the world outside of this place and you can stretch your legs."
The dark khaki lioness smiled locingly at her large mate. She felt sorry for him, for though she too felt wonderlust the need to care for the cubs was far stronger for her, than the need to wander.

"Go someplace..." He said again. Oh yes. Crazycrazy. But it was only a quick spell of the Crazycrazy that time, and he sat up like something had bit him. "Oh!" He exclaimed and turned to her. "Go someplace."
Oh stop that, Hasani! Get your words together, you sound like a blubering cub! "A long walk? I'd.... Oh I'd like that very much. And, you could take the girls somewhere, with Mum." Oh yes, he called her Mum. "We could meet somewhere down the line... maybe... or, return here. Traveling again would be nice. They'll be old enough, soon, right?"
He knew nothing on the growthing paterns of cubs. What if they stayed that small for a year? No.. he hadn't been that small for a year, so that didn't make sence. Kina would know, she knew about little things like cubs.

Kinamasi gave a soft chuckle and gromed her mates face gently. "Oh Hasani you're so silly. of course we will be able to travel again soon, just not yet my love, the world is full of very dangerous things and places, cubs get stollen out there and killed for less than an odd look. It is safe here but if you wish to take the boys out for a few days you should do so, just make sure they stay close okay?" She smiled lovingly at Hasani, she knew he was going stir crazy staying in one place. Her poor mate, she too wanted to be away in to the world but she knew her cubs needed safty now more than long trecks through unknown territory.
Cubs could get lost very easily if they didn't know the way. "I just want to make sure they are able to at least look after themselves a little before we go on, you know I want to see the rest of the world just as much as you do, but it isn't going any where and I want our babies to be safe before we leave for good." she grinned then "They will grow soon enough and you will miss hteir little stage" she giggles. "Cubs are just wonderful at this age"

"Wonderful..." He said, looking back at the large group of cubs bouncing around in the sun a few years away. Had he had been so lucky? Yes. Finding Kina was a good move, very good move. Kina ment love, love ment family, family ment acceptance, and that was what he had been searching for. The love and family, and acceptance, all rolled into one.
"When can we go?" He turned back to Kina, eager. Tahu's mane fluffed as his head turned. His feet were still itching, and now with this notion in his head... well, he wanted to bolt with the little boys and see what there was out here in these lands, what he could show them that is useful. He'd teach them about snake holes, and what is the difference between that, and a merkat hole. He'd teach them alot of things. He could bond with Dad, too.
