He took off into a run, the snow he brushed against billowing behind him as he pushed it up with every move his paws took. He turned abruptly and ran in the opposite direction now, back towards the Crystal Caverns. There wasn't much to do, all there was, was more snow. The caverns were better, through the cave and into it to see all the ice that shone like crystals. It wasn't really a cave, considering the opening at the top but it had an opening like one.

Faustus frowned darkly, as he reached the entrance. He wasn't in the mood to come back but with nothing else to do he had to. He could always challenge another male to a fight or he could pretend to like a female, manipulate her feelings and then crush her when she admitted that she liked him. Both were amusing options.

He glared at the ice, it wasn't so slippery like ice outside of their home but he had slipped when he was young. But he was grown now, nothing to worry about. Faustus' red eyes searched his surroundings, looking for something for him to occupy his time with. Who to hurt, who to tick off that they would attack back? Fighting was amusing, when you were winning. He laid against a particular ice crystal that had protruded from the ground.

((-is super late-))

Carneva giggled as she sped and slipped along the ice floor, then let herself slide for what seemed like miles. This had been a favorite game to play with her friends when she was little, and she still found it fun, when she was in the mood.

Carrie spun in circles as she slid, letting herself fly along through the ice. She shrieked with glee as she ducked icicles that dangled from the ceiling, snapping one off every once in a while and then tossing it at the wall to watch it shatter. Whenever she felt herself start to lose momentum, she scrabbled along the floor again and pushed herself along for a moment.

Suddenly, she saw something out of the corner of her eye, next to one of the huge ice crystals that stuck up out of the ground. She tried to dig her claws into the icy floor to stop herself. Once this was accomplished, she snuck back over to investigate...

He observed his claws still leaning against that ice crystal. He was near the entrance if the Crystal Caverns, hidden almost behind the ice crystal. If one looked closely enough they'd be able to see him by it. He picked at his claws, debating now whether going into the Caverns was a good idea or no.

It sounded like a good idea at first but now he didn't care that much about whether he should hurt another Rakki or no. His red eyes shifted towards the grey sky, it might snow again soon. His eyes narrowed. It wasn't like they needed more snow, but the sky just let more fall down. He'd go in the Caverns then, there was more shelter there than out here.

He slouched, his upper limbs lying limp by his sides as his hind legs walked closer and closer towards the entrance. Faustus' ears perked up, hearing sounds of nearby Rakki. His mouth turned upwards into a dark grin. At least the bored feeling was evaporating by every second he walked closer.

Carrie crept toward the sliver of red... something that she had seen near the entrance. She went into stalking mode, tail twitching as she crept toward the thing. Carrie tried to keep hidden behind the huge ice crystals that stuck up from the floor, but she'd never won any of the hunting games when she was little. She knew whatever it was that she was going towards would spot her or hear her any second now, but she wanted to see how close she could get anyways...

His ears twitched, picking up the slightest sound of something moving near him. He continued to lean against that ice crystal, taking a pretended interest in the now falling snow. His eyes narrowed, however, wondering what was nearing him. Faustus was sorely tempted to whip around and charge at whoever was close by.

It would be interesting to see what the other's reaction would be when he popped out before heading straight at them. He chuckled. Whoever it was though wasn't too bright from what he could tell, well hear. This Rakki, he assumed it was a Rakki since is was coming from inside the Caverns, most likely was a horrible hunter from the continued noise he was able to pick up on.

Pathetic, that was what this Rakki truly was. He picked at his nails again, growing irritated by how hopeless the Rakki probably was. What if others, not just their own kind but other species, met with this Rakki and thought that was what all Rakki were like. That was a truly horrible thought. He frowned, before dropping to all fours and jumping onto his ice crystal. He jumped twice more, reaching further into the Caverns.

His red eyes searched his surroundings looking for the source of the noise. Ah there was the source, it was female too from the looks of it. It made Faustus a little less irritated to find out that the Rakki was female, he always did assume females were just trouble. Too hopeless at hunting, too emotional from what he could tell, clingy as well. They were good at some things: easier to manipulate, weaker, breeding purposes.

Faustus took in the almost orange fur coat of the Rakki. He saw a small glimpse of yellow near where her tail extended. His eyes darkened, something bothered him. But what? He wished he could see the female's face, he lowered his head, trying to see but it was no use. He jumped to the ground behind the female. "Hunting?" He chuckled, pretending to be all friendly while his eyes glittered dangerously. Why was she so familiar?

Carrie didn't even have the decency to jump when the other Rakki jumped down to her level. She cocked her head at him. It... seemed like she had met him before. "Do... do I know you?" She asked tentatively, trying not to seem like she was staring too much while she scrutinized him. She would swear she knew him, but she could say with all certainty that she had never met an adult male who looked like this. He was very... distinctive against the white snow and ice.

He took in her face and cursed inwardly. Of course, the one day he decided to go and investigate the hopeless case of a rakki it had to be her. He recognized her but how could he not? The time in which he had met her was long ago and he should of forgot about her but he couldn't forget someone so infuriating. He had hoped at that time that she had gotten herself lost in a snowstorm and perished or was eaten by something much bigger or heck even fallen off of a cliff.

If only wishes came true, naturally they didn't and now he had to deal with the issue of this awful female once more. Karma, that had to be it. Not that he believed in stupid things like that but some of his fellow rakki seemed to think that if you did a good deed, good things would come to you and vice versa. Now, he never was a nice rakki and never would be and so as some would say, he was paying gravely for his actions in the past.

"Not at all, I could never forget someone so lovely as yourself." He gave a mock bow, and produced a smile that bared all his sharp teeth. Faustus could easily lie, having done it for all his life. Would she think his gesture was nice? Most females might, idiots. His red eyes flashed as he took in her fur once more, she didn't look any older than he and yet it had to be a long while since he was at that young age? Or did it just seem longer to him?

And what was her name again? Something with a C-. To think, he could remember her appearance and yet not her name. Perhaps at the time he wasn't paying attention, he tended not too as a child. Shouldn't he remember her name though? Since he hated her as a child and disliked her still in adulthood?

"I must admit, how could I not of noticed you before? You stand out so nicely against the ice and snow that I am in disbelief that we have never met before now. Don't you agree, ah what is your name?" He chuckled, sitting down on the ground as he continued to stare at her. Was the nice act too forced? He still had trouble coming off as a great, nice rakki. Their were moments when his dark thoughts seemed to shine through.
