The black goddess stretched her wings as she emerged from the den that she and Nix had picked out for themselves. It was a rather large stony structure, a little aways from Pride Rock, but far enough to have their be quiet silence, and close enough so that Rage could see others walking about.
Far enough away in case Rage had to be kept within the den's walls.
Curing her wings upon her back she set out from the den, walking towards the water hole, she smiled as she moved forward such an odd thing to get used to, having a home and smiling, having her sister near.
Things seemed to be getting better and better everyday.

After successfully killing a tree to show off his strength, Shou was in a better mood than normal. All of that running and playing fighting that the others called nonsense had made him an even stronger adolescent. Never mind the annoying bit of mane that got in his eyes at even the slightest movement. That didn't matter anymore. All of his hard training had finally come to fruition. Of course the time away from his siblings was a bit much but he couldn't do it with them hanging over his shoulders and yelling at him about whatever schemes they were coming up with.
"They're too troublesome." Talking to himself had apparently started as well but anyone who knew him would probably just be happy that he was talking at all. A social hurtle that he finally crossed.
As he made his way back to the family den, he almost wanted his siblings to show up so he could show them just what he had done with himself.

Rage wasn't thinking about her surroundings much, she was more musing to herself hte possibilities of having a home and wanting a normal life, something fun in her life, something to make herself feel complete, make up for all hte wasted time and mistakes she had made in the past. But how, what? So confusing, she could never seem to settle on one idea over the rest.
Something dark moving through hte grasses caught her silver eyes and Rage tilted her head, so familiar, but who? Should she call out to them, would they be scared of her?
Rage guessed there weren't many goddesses living within the pridelands.
Also didn' help she didn't know how to create an illusion over herself.

He crept through the grass to try and stay low. The wind had blown some sort of scent towards him. It seemed so familiar but he could never be too careful. He kept wondering who would actually enter the pridelands with the intent to harm. Apparently, they'd been through that before. They didn't need anymore drama.
His overwhelming sense of adventure was drawing him closer to it. He didn't care so much about the danger. Besides, this was a familiar smell and he knew who this way. Shou just couldn't put a name to it.
As he got closer to whatever it was in the grass it became easier to identify it. "Do I know you?" He'd taken a risk by saying something but it was too late to change it now.

Rage stopped, letting her silver eyes fall on the dark form that was so much closer now and she smiled, "I'd hope you know me and at least remember me a bit Ru," she said with a smirk quirking a brow, "More talkative I see? Thats good..." She wondered if he remembered her name now, though she couldn't be too sure, maybe it was too long ago for him to remember.
But she still hoped that he did.
"How have things been Ru? Look how you've grown.."

After hearing the other's voice, he knew who it was in an instant. It wasn't often that someone forgot the voice of one of their only friends outside of family.
"I hope it's Rage. It isn't easy to forget wings" Shou slipped out of the taller grass to fully show himself. At least someone noticed how hard he'd been working. "Growing is normal. I just train." He smiled faintly up at her, flicking his ears forwards.
"And you? Weren't you leaving?"

Rage walked closer to him and stopped, peered over him again and smirked at him, "Train huh? Trying to impress the ladies are we? Oh please tell me you haven't met my sister and she gave you tips," she smacked a paw to her forehead and laughed, Nix, what would the world do without Nix huh?
"Maybe I was, maybe I'm not, have a problem?" she asked quirking a brow, teasing him, joking, just trying to see if she could rile him up at all, he needed to loosen up.
Wait, when did she ever think that way.
Rage had been around Nix way too long...but then again, that could be a good thing.

"Ladies?" Honestly, he hadn't seen any ladies that he wanted to impress. They were either related to him, already love struck or too old for him. For the new adolescent, it wasn't much of a problem anyway. "Sister?...I'm sure I would remember someone who was your sister. I'm sure of that." He closed his eyes smirked, falling back onto his haunches. If she was going to play that game then he wouldn't mind playing a long for a bit. There wasn't any harm was there? Being around his own sister probably brought on this sort of awkward playfulness.
"Just asking. It isn't often that someone disappears into thin air and then suddenly shows up again? what would be the goddess of to do that anyway? The Goddess of magic tricks?"
Shou snickered, nonchalantly clawing at the peddles under his paws.

Rage watched him, quirking a brow and smirking at him, so he hadn't met Nix yet, good, Nix would probably mess up his mane..or play with it..fluff it, something. "She's the goddess of lightning, if you must know, but she's just...extremely playful, especially with males and their manes...but she..kind of shocks them from time to time, accidental of course!" Rage said blinking, watching him.
Something was different

Shou tried to get the last bit of his mane out of his eyes. Evil thing. "Goddess of lightning?" He gave it a moment of thought before scratching behind his ear with a forpaw. "I haven't been shocked yet so I figure I haven't met your sister. Certainly."
He rolled his shoulders, raking his claws in the dirt. The adolescent regarded her and chuckled. "You look well Rage."

"Just wait, just wait," Ru would probably come across her soon enough, she was so bright and friendly, she could go anywhere she wanted and make others smile all the while. Rage watched him and flicked her tail, pulling her wings tighter upon herself, "I guess I'm better than before..." much better, least in her opinion.
Anything was better than before, though she could be worse...that she knew.

"What? Do you actually want me to meet your sister?" He flicked his tail, smirking from under the bit of his mane that always fell into his eyes. "Or do you want to keep me all to yourself?"
Changing the subject. That would probably do them both good. He didn't like those around him to feel uncomfortable.

"Well, no, I mean you can but..." she narrowed his eyes at him in a mock angry manner, "Are you trying to confuse me huh?" she asked tilting her head at him, some of her fur falling into her view, silver eyes searching for the emminiant red hues of the one opposite of herself.
What if she did?
Rage closed her eyes and shook her head, thoughts, trailing shadows, laugher and smiling, figures moving and her eyes shot open again, and quickly she stood and peered around hte ground around her, somewhat in a panicked motion.
This shouldn't be happening, this shouldn't be happening!
"I-I shouldn't be here.." her voice was quick, breath hitched, she shouldn't be here, be here like this, no.

"Sure. Confusion. We'll go with that." He didn't really know what he was doing anyway.
When had he been so brash before? It had to be his sister finally rubbing off on him...right? As the thought mulled about in his head, he couldn't see the distress of the other until she spoke. "Shouldn't be here? Did I do something wrong?"
He blew the last bit of his mane out of his eyes to watch her, brow contorting into a look of worry.
"Rage?"

"No, no your fine, nothing, you didn't do anything wrong just.." she couldn't be there. She couldn't have this in her life again, what was happening, why was it happening again? Flashes went before her eyes and she closed them, fangs grinding into one another, her black aura starting to seep from herself, reaching out towards Ru, and at once she felt a pull, no, couldn't hurt him no...no...
"NO!" she shook her head and let her silver hues fall on them, pain in her eyes.
"Its not you, something happening...I don't want...I don't want you hurt...please go..."
Rage then let herself fall onto the ground and curl up, having her wings fall over her, claws and paws over her head in an attempt to stop the pounding.
Didn't want him hurt...
