I believe this is in the right Sub-Forum?
What do you think of Marilyn Manson (Band, or Brian Hugh Warner, who uses that Stage name)?
Personally, I think Marilyn Manson is a good band. I doubt that Brian Warner is as 'Bad' a person as the Media make him out to be, although I do think his actions are a little disturbing on stage and in very few of his music videos...
Your opinions?

I won't mock you for the nightmare bit, besides, Marilyn Manson's 'Beautiful People' and their cover of 'Sweet Dreams' was... Horrifying, in a word, xp .

I've seen some of his interviews. He's very intelligent. He does what he does to stir people up out of their lethargic ways, and he uses controversy to that end. All in all, I like him.

All in all, I like him. I can't say if I like him as a person or not, as I don't know him personally. He does seem like a nice person though, contrary to how he has been portrayed a few times in the Media's 'Ever Watchful, Ever Correct' system.
I don't think I've seen any of his interviews... ... biggrin , I have something to do now!

I like the cover 'Sweet Dreams' and a couple of Marilyn Manson songs {o0o0 Redeemer!}
but if I ever saw him walking down the street, I'd run the other way. Same with Micheal Jackson.

I'm in the "know of him" category... I've heard a few of his songs passively and remember thinking they were good. But I have seen videos of interviews with him, and he's extremely intelligent. Sometimes he's actually nicer than the reporters. I know a lot of people who don't like him because of his stage personality, but I think it's just a case of knowing what your audience wants, similar to David Bowie. Only a hell of a lot more perverted.

Everyone likes different things, and sometimes their 'Likes' go against their apparent... Appearance.
Art. It's always meaningful to at least one person, and I confess, I quite like Manson's abstract, Bizarre and often Nightmarish art work and acting. smile

I agree. If nothing else, it's entertaining to see what he's gonna do next.

From his biography i have of him he seems like he had a lot of issues ( as we all do) growing up him more then others. He seems like a kewl guy i seen him in live in 2004 at the electric factory in philadelphia where i live and he put on a great show. Although he was a lot milder from his younger years and when he is not in the states hehe. I love his music and really love his one album antichrist superstar. His new cd that came out eat me drink me seems to go back to his younger years in music. before the mobscene crap which i hated aint nothin but i g thing eww. lol. Anywho i really like what i read and what i seen personally i think he uses a stage name so he can act like he wants to kinda like another person when he is on stage so when he isint touring and all he can be himself. When i usto model a lot back a year ago i did for 4 years and i didnt use my name i used another cuz when your modeling or being in a band or what not your a diff. person really you are what ppl make you to be and what you get paid for to entertain the fans. anywho i think hes kick a** and i personally think he changed a lot of pplz lives from his music. smile
