Alrighty. So, I have this little issue.

I've always had pretty mellow periods. They haven't been very regular, but they haven't been way painful of anything. At least, not usually. Now, suddenly, I've got two months in a row where my periods >kill<. My period hasn't started yet, but it will within the next week, and I'm so confused and worried because it's getting hard to concentrate.

The cramps that I get only come at night, and they come with the urge to use the bathroom or throw up. They also come with some constipation, which I've never had to this degree before.

I'm currently on Yasmin (birth control) to regulate my periods, and because I do have sex with my long-term boyfriend. We use condoms too but better to be safe than sorry.

I was just wondering if >anyone< had >any< advice for me. I'm gonna go see my OB/GYN soon, probably, but I don't know if I'll be able to get in before Thanksgiving - when I'll be going back home.

Thanks for help smile heart

I'm on Yasmin 28 and the only thing with my period is that it's shorter & not as heavy. Eveyone is different though. I agree that for now midol works wonders for the cramps.

Not that I know anything about birth control...
But you could be reacting badly, like allergic, but not, just your body isn't working well with it, and that's how it's responding to the birth control your on. Talk to your Doctor/ Get tested/Painkillers (I'm already resistant to Midol forthe most part now, so I don't recommend it.) and it should fix you up.
