She paused as she glanced back behind her, wondering if she should have left the safety of her new temporary-soon-to-become-permanent home. She had just recently met a two-legger, whom the other Soquili had told her was named Miakoda, although sometimes her name was mixed up and a strange pronounciation came out instead--Mikazuki. How had they mixed up such a common, familiar name was beyond her. The only thing she was glad of was that they did not try to hurt her. She hated pain, and most certainly was an extremely shy mare. It had taken her a good several days before she got used to her new environment... if only a little. She had been wandering about by herself until Miakoda had found her, and so that's how things went. It was odd really, but that was okay... she had a new "family" to look forward to, she supposed. This light-headed sensation she was feeling made her think that perhaps she was happy... though she was still cautious. She hoped none of these Soquili would turn around and stab her in the back... oh, the woes of living in the dangerous world for all her life truly affected N'rai T'sii deeply.

Quiet... Would she ever be quiet? Those questions flickered trhough his head as his familiar perched on his back, chittering away at him, as if ahveing a full on conversation with him that he couldent even understand. Over a year he had let this littel grubby=handed racoon tag along with him, and never once had he understood what the hell she was saying. All chitters and squeaks and clicks, but she had never once tird to learn the common language of soquili and familiar.
But his age was giveing way to some amount of tolerance. Not much, but enough. So simply he gritted his teath and continued on his way. Cyan markings that couldent quite make up its mind as if it wanted to be the crash of waves of the strike of lightning traced its way across his black and white coat, glowing with a eerie light that matched his eyes.
Infront of him he saw a mare, dark like the nightaround then, realy the only thing that made her stand out from the blackness around them was the red of her eyes and the silver that tipped her body. He naroowed his eyes and continue forward, on his current path he would wonder right infront of her.

She didn't notice she was soon to have company, and N'rai idly picked at the ground and nosed at it as she glanced around and scented for some sweet grass to eat. Mostly for a snack, she was already some kind of hungry anyway. N'rai was actually on a small quest to look for her brother, but so far she had had no luck. Perhaps she had lost him when she had wandered away a few days ago... but she would find him again, she hoped. It was odd for her to be away from him, though; she felt alone and scared and worried that something would attack her and she'd get hurt and she hated pain and... she stopped rambling in her mind as she realized that she was more than safe because of her coat. However, she wondered why her eyes had to be a bright red... it was so strange. They were the only things that were abnormal about her, but otherwise she was okay... so far. She looked up when she hurt clicks and grunts and chitters and immediately saw the stallion coming straight towards. She froze. Uh oh...

Tempest raised an eyebrow at the littel mare as she froze in place, his tiger striped face caugh in an expression somewere between exasperation and annoyange. Sleet, the little racoon, grabed a couple of his brais and flung them about happily as if they were reigns, her chittering never seesing to stop even as she spotted the litter mare and waved enthusiasticaly, her sqeaks now seeming to be directed at the filly, as if starting once again a new conversation.
Oh great, another timid littel thing to test his patience. Must all females be so... strange? Aleady he had to deal with a female who thought she was a birdm, and now one who seemed to think she could become invisible just by standing still. Oh great.

She fidgeted under this stallion's dark glare, feeling like she was the most disgusting thing in the land with how he was staring at her. If he didn't like her, why was he walking toward her!? And... that... thing... on his back... She blinked, realizing that it was a raccoon. She smiled at it shyly, and nodded her own quick response in hello. Little cheerful creatures like that were always so happy and brave; she sometimes wished she was like them.
She returned her scarlet gaze on the stallion after a few quick hello's at the familiar, and glanced away. Why did she have to run into a stallion that looked ready to kill? She didn't like pain, and she didn't like arguements... she didn't like anything that was remotely negative, and with the way she was she contradicted herself. N'rai sighed silently to herself. She should probably walk away before the stallion decided she was good food and eat her...
