I gave them my two weeks notice two weeks ago and so now I only have to work there one more day (tomorrow) and never ever have to go back again!

Its like totally exciting.

And I got a new job, that I started 2 weeks ago at Butthead's Tobacco Emporium. Its like totally AMAZING. I do nothing! Except...I do do stuff...but not alot! Like at Payless if you're scheduled for 8 hours of work you actually work all 8 hours. Whereas at Butthead's when you're scheduled for 8 hrs you only do around 4 hours of work. The rest of the time I just sit there reading or playing on my phone.

At first I thought it was bad not to do actual work...but then whenever my manager is there she doesnt do any actual work so I guess that means its ok.

And they said they would start me out at $8.50/hr at Buttheads. I only make $8.30/hr at Payless. But then I went and got my first paycheck today and guess what! I get $9/hr cool biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

And I have lots of hours there. I have 43 next week. Normally I'll get around 50. But since thanksgiving is this week its less. And they give time and a half for overtime so I'll get rich off of it. The owner said I'll make between $400 and $450 a week after taxes. I only get $250ish at Payless

And I dont have to commute an hour to work everyday. Thank God. I hate driving >.<

AND its a small business not a corporation! So no more of that corporate bullshit.

AND there is no dress code! And I can wear flip flops and sneakers and jeans and anything I want as long as im not too slutty!

AND everything is behind the counter so customers cant touch it so I never have to pick up after customers again! Except for emptying ashtrays but that takes like 2 seconds.

Its kinda gross because its a cigar/cigarette store and people smoke in there all the time so I come home reeking of cigars. And then even if I change clothes and shower and stuff the smell is still there, in my hair. But luckily I dont mind the smell that much and its totally worth the money biggrin

OOOO and I was totally REALLY rude to my district manager when he came to visit cool But he deserves for being such an a*****e all the time. It was AMAZING.

I so forgot to go bug you >.>; stupid school.
should have done what one of my friends teachers did, she gave them her 2 weeks notice, then took her 2 weeks vacation xD;
aka left and never came back.

Its totally a classy place Shoy.

Its motto is "Nice butt!"

And yeah its gross. It smells gross, its smoky, and all the people there are regulars and know each other, which means the middle aged men are happy sitting around smoking with the owner talking about who they've ********, who they want to ********, and how good/bad it was. And they are all assholes when it comes to what they say about their girlfriends. They're really mean. OH and there was this bum who came in and just sat in the store for 4 hours one day and didnt even buy anything. And it was fine when the owner was there but then he left me alone with some creepy guy who looked stoned and I was all gonk gonk gonk But then he left after awhile and thanked us for letting him "hang out and mellow"

BUT most of the people there are really nice and fun to talk to and stuff. And I personally dont mind the smell that much. My friends and family just have to get over it.

And lawlz speaking of second hand smoke I told my District Manager that "I might get lung cancer from second hand smoke and die but at least I'll be treated better then I am at Payless whee " He was like "...................... eek "

Yay on getting a better job with better pay and not an insane amount of work.

And at first I thought the name of the cigar shop was fake or a joke. XD

But yay now you can actually have money for things and save if you want to. ^^

That sounds like a job I'd like to have. Glad you got rid of Payless and this is working out for you.

Smokers are the nicest people, ever.
For regular cigs, anyway.

People who smoke black and milds it's hit or miss, and people who do weed are either amazing or kinda cool but total lazyasses, or just rude shits.
