It's like everytime I go on here I don't see anything new.
I don't care if it's even one thing i would like to see more activity. It gets lonely being one of the only ones who post.

Great. I feel like a tree hugger.
STOP GLOBAL WARMING EVEN THOUGH IT"S HOPELESS!!!
PostPosted: Fri Feb 08, 2008 9:54 pm

Hey, treehuggers are awesome! I remember people acting like I was just some stupid kid when I used to tell others to recycle (not my parents, some of thier friends).

Nowadays people are required to do so rofl

Who was the stupid one now?

ever since I learned what the words "recycle" and "earth day" meant I was all for it. For the longest time I used to never run the water while I brushed my teeth biggrin . Sadly I do now............ neutral . I still recycle though ^_^. I used to clean out cans at my school to bring home because I was so upset we didn't have bins there. I got my friends into doing it too.

I will admitt I have been bad about recycling. I am pretty careless.
Really I don't have anything against treehuggers, but honestly that thing they had at school was ridiculous. Vote to figure out what we should do about global warming?
Honestly what can we do about it. It's happening. We can't stop it.

Didn't get to see any of it because I was too busy. Seemed like a cool thing though. Not sure about the voting thing, I would've had to be there.

I've thrown in the towel a bit as well, but I dont' think that really is the answer. We may not be able to stop the damage that has already been done, but we can prevent further damage.

I feel we should still be just as concerned and do as much as we individually can.

Recycling is second nature to me because it's been something I've done since I was little. I find it stops your trash can from being filled so quickly as well biggrin

I am grateful that they now conveniently give us recycling bins. I remember when you had to do the leg work yourself. Imagine that hassle.

I don't get anybody for litering or tell them to recycle anymore, so I'm not as much as a cause person. I do still do my part, or at least a little part.

What were the choices on voting for "What to do"? Was this for congress to see or something?

honestly, I didn't knwo any of the options.
yeah, I'm glad that we have recycle bins now. it does make the trash heep smaller and we have less excuses except for shear laziness.
your right though we should do our part and every little bit does count, but to vote on what to do? If this our planet we are talking about, shouldn't we do everything we can. To me it's not a democratic thing. It's a matter of survival. By golly if there is something that I can do, by golly then I want to do it, depending on if I have the ability or not.
