Grass Field
The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those built to walk on land.

Once more her heavy iron boots crunched the grass beneath her with each stride as she made her way to the designated box for her to battle in. "So, you think you have enough spunk, kid?" Kailana placed a hand on her hip, her eyes staring coldly at the young trainer, "We'll see if youth prevails over experience..."
She didn't rather like this trainer, but then again, who didn't she dislike? The woman stood calmly in a strong stance, unshaken by the little breeze that blew through the field.
Isamu had been where he always was, at his master's side. Finding this trainer interesting and full of a spirit like his, he allowed her presence.
Quietly he stood his ground with her, his claws digging into the fresh green blades to dig up the earth. Isamu spoke up in agreeance, "Ab sol sol absol! (That's right, you should have stayed in your crib!)"
Pulling her scarf around her neck she snickered happily, knowing Isamu would agree wholeheartedly with her.

"I have more experience than you think!" Luna retorted, "I probably battled more than you. Don't underestimate me!"
"Rai!" ChuChu popped up from Luna's shoulder, agreeing with her trainer. She jumped from Luna's shoulder onto the field. "I may have only entered her team a few weeks ago, but we're strong now!" Electricity started to lace around and concentrate at ChuChu's cheeks.
The Raichu had no fear of the other pokemon, only determination shining in her eyes. "You're going DOWN!"

From her previous battle with the absol, Luna had learned that physical attacks, especially speedy ones, would be much better against the absol than slower special attacks that took a little while to charge.
"ChuChu! Let's start this off with an iron tail!" She called out.
"Chu!" ChuChu's eyes narrowed, she dashed towards the absol at full speed. Once within a few feet of absol, she jumped off into the air and did multiple flips in the air, building up momentum. Then, she aimed her tail at Absol's head and attempted to bash it as hard as she could manage.

"HA!" the woman snorted at the girl's reply, "We'll see about that. Put your pokemon where your mouth is, girly!"
The rugged absol took his place in the ring, bearing his teeth readily as he stood in an aggressive stance, "We'll see who's eating dirt tonight, wee little girl!"
Kailana took her pose as well, her guantlet hand already in a fist. Her red spheres carefully watched the raichu slam her tail into her pet, the glowing bolt stricking his chest. "Pfft, Isamu, Night Slash!" She flung her pointed hand towards him, signalling him to commence, "We'll show her who's boss!"
Being as battle scarred as he was, Isamu knew he could handle multiple attacks, especially ones that were full to the brim with momentum. Chuchu's attack hit him dead on below the neck as he looked up to watch her, sending him flying back as he landed on his paws, the fall cushioned by the soft grass. "ABSOLLL!" Isamu let his head fly back as he howled, it was his turn now! His long left scythe began to glow a dark purple before it turned a bright white, his legs pushing him off the ground and into the air to copy exactly as the raichu had done with tumbles before he reached striking distance.

"ChuChu! Thunder punch!"
ChuChu's fist starts to glow as Isamu approached. "Chuuuu..." She prepared for the absol's impact. She would have to get the timing fairly percise to avoid being knocked back too much. Isamu was closing in. He was now showing his blade and...NOW! ChuChu aimed for Absol's blade, but was knocked back before she could see if her attack hit.
ChuChu rolled in the grass a few times before regaining her posture. She was very thankful the field wasn't the rock field.

Isamu tried to avoid the attack as much as possible but to no avail. The small fist hit his horn hard enough to send him backwards into the air.
Kailana inched forward slightly, hoping his second horn wouldn't turn out like the other, that was his only flaw. Well, that and his many scars.
Gritting her teeth she quickly commanded before her pokemon was send back to earth, "Quick Isamu, use Fire Blast!"
"Abbb..." Opening his mouth, the experienced absol began to draw a firery power, "SOLL!" before snapping his neck forward, sending the large ball of fire towards the grounded ChuChu.

"...Chu!" ChuChu shouted, startled by the large flame. She looked towards her trainer for orders.
"ChuChu! We have to go right through this, since I don't think you can get through any other way...that attack's bound to burn this whole field down. So straight through with a skull bash!"
"CHU!" ChuChu grasped her fist. She started to run towards the flames. I can do this! I can do this! ChuChu jumped right into the center flames. The pain was excrutiating. "...chuuuuu...." She clenched her teeth as she carried on running, fire still flickering on her fur which was now burnt.
She approached her goal, jumping up quickly to tackle him head-on.

Isamu's eyes widened as he watched ChuChu leap out from the flames before clenching them shut as she bashed skulls with him, "Absol!" The ground quickly came up to meet the elder as he flopped onto a green patch.
Kailana closed her eyes as she winced, her mind flashing thoughts of how many times Isamu had been bitten, bashed, and bruised over the years. Would he be okay?
Peeling back a lid she saw him laying on the ground before she snapped, "This is no time to be napping, get back up!" she smirked towards Luna, love the heat my dear? Isamu, Blizzard!"
"Ab.." Pushing his body back up he glared at the little rat pokemon, "Absol sol sol...(You my dear are going to be...)" pulling his head back once more with his maw open a bright blue-white light began to form into a large sphere, "ABSOL AB! (...SIX FEET UNDER!)" Pushing the force again towards ChuChu the orb traveled at a frightening speed, snowflakes and a chilling breeze forming in it's path.

((Shush, I know this defies all logic))
"Ack! ChuChu! IRON TAIL IT BACK AT HIM!"
"RAI!" ChuChu jumped back, gaining some distance from the large orb and letting it weaken a little. Then, she jumped towards it and swung her tail like a baseball bat. The ball rebounded back towards Isumu.
ChuChu was not all without damage though. The attack had frozen her tail solid, the cold slowly creeping up on her. ChuChu shivered and sneezed. "(A...)Chuu!..." This was not a fun day.

The trainer began to laugh wildly as the battle raged, spying her sneezing pokemon, "Are we getting a bit chilly? Don't worry, we'll warm you back up." Turning her one eye to her battle scarred absol she commanded, "Isamu, use a series of Fire Blasts to counteract!"
"AbSOLL!" Isamu howled as the blizzard attack launched back, another blast of fire sent from his jaws attacked back at the ball of ice, creating a small pool of water where the two forces had collided. Charging another attack Isamu seemed unstopable, hurling numerous smaller blasts of fire towards the frozen ChuChu.

"ChuChu! If it's an elemental war, then use thunder punch!"
"Chu!" ChuChu used her small body to it's fullest advantage, dogging in between the fireballs. She barely missed one of them as it flew over her back and small embers from it fell onto her fur, burning it further.
She approached the larger pokemon again, her fist cackling with electricity. "Chuuuu!" She yelled out as she jumped up to punch Isamu's jaw.

"Sol!" His jaw flew up as his body flipped in the air. Isamu fell flat on his back, flattening the grass beneath his now lifeless body.
Kailana immediately called after her injured pokemon, "Isamu!" clanking towards the edge of her allowed square closest to the absol. "Isamu, you have to get back up," she whispered towards her companion,"We have to beat those snot-nosed brats!"
The elder pokemon could only look at his master with eager eyes, wanting with all his heart to get back up and fight but his body disobeying. A stream of blood coming from his jaw was now staining his perfect chest fur, his jaw left hanging open. That punch had hit home and he was down for the count.

"Okay ChuChu! Let's use this to our advantage! Iron tail!" Luna shouted.
"Chu!" She had did it! She had stunned the absol! HURRAH! ChuChu was excited. She nodded at Luna's command and jumped overhead Isamu, bringing down her tail at his body. There would be no mercy here!
