Is that a good title?
Is it okay if they're still at the beach?
Since that's where they first met?
 Teance wandered down the shore, stopping every once and a while to look out to sea. He was content with his new home in the pumpkin patch, but he would come down to the beach every other day to look for ships, remembering the day he had lost his and washed up here.

 Raux, too, was combing along the beach this day. She had her fill of fish this morning and now just wandered. She felt a small kinship with the ocean, since she had been in a pack near one as a pup. She had gone off on her own though, deciding that she'd like to raise her own little ones instead of the pack's.
Now in the ruins of some abandoned small-town, she enjoyed the walks along the beach, looking for anything of use. Today... Well today, she found Teance. "Teance." She called out across the waves, turning to meet him. "How have you been?"

"Aye!" Teance waved and wandered over to her, "I'm doin' well. How're ye teday?"

Raux bobbed her head in response and met him near the middle of their distance apart. "Well enough." She gave a short smile. "What brings you here this day, besides living nearby?"

Teance smiled in return, answering her question, "I wander these shores often; 'tis the very shore I happen'd te wash up en when I first came here." He started wandering leisurely down the beach again, "And what brings ye here teday?"

Raux gave a short nod to his explaination, moving to follow him in his trek. "I rather enjoy the ocean. My first pack, the one I was born into, lived near one far from here. It's soothing, to be near this place." She smiled in return to her companion. Even if they were of a differet species of Kimera, there was a kinship there between them, knowing of what it was to be alone.

(I probably wont be on much this weekend, my family's preparing for Thanksgiving. And I wont be on from Wednesday to the following Sunday because I will be up north, unless for some miraculous reason I get wireless up there...
And I have a back story for Teance's arm that I invented when I first got him... Still need to figure one out for his eye, though...)
"Aye, 'tis," he replied, watching the waves crashing onto the shore. He looked back up at her with a laugh, "Aye, serry, 'tis been a while since I've talked with another Kimera asides 'at big blue griffin, an' he didn't lyk talkin' too much." Teance was enjoying their stroll down the beach, it was nice to hang out with other Kimera. But he hadn't done anything like that since before his ship was caught in the storm.

Raux only smiled to Teance, glancing out to the waves before looking back to him. "That's alrigh,t I understand. Just knowing someone is beside me is good enough." She hadn't truly had anyone around since she had left her pack... A few here and there, but never more than a simple conversation about directions.

"Aye," Teance said, his knowledge of conversation now failing him. He looked over at Raux, admiring her fur for a while before catching himself and looking back to the ocean. He was a pirate, that's all there was to it. Raux had to see that, right? Most people stayed away from pirates, especially those with missing limbs, so why didn't she?

Sure, Raux knew of pirates. Of that Teance fancied himself one... But did it matter, in the long run? He tollerated her presence, even seemed to enjoy it. She turned to him, looking to the various golden rings, his leg... Questions that would be saved for later roamed her mind.
"Are you hungry? I could catch a few fish." Ah, a downfall. She knew little of her fellow Kimera, of Hebisune in general.

"Aye, fesh would be nice!" Teance stopped, spying a large pole. He picked it up, testing it's weight and nodding to himself. "Aye, this'll work jus' fyne!" It had been a while since he had eaten fish, though usually when they hunted on the seas it was with bigger spears and after bigger fish...

Nodding, Raux smiled as she walked down the beach a bit more. She caught her own fish a different way... But Teance was welcome to however he was accustomed.
Finding a quiet shallow, she waited for bigger fish to come by to eat the small ones... Actually catching two of them before she looked to Teance to see how he was doing.

Watching the water, Teance crept up on one of the rocks sticking out into the ocean, hefting his spear and leaning so that his shadow stayed within the confines of the rock. He lanced the spear into the water after the first large fish that came within his reach. Unfortunately it had been a while since he fished last and the spear missed, the end of it just barely sticking out above the water. He reached out with one of his tails, using the earing on it to hook the spear and drag it closer while the other tail acted as a balast and kept him balanced on the rock. Spear in hand again, he waited for another fish to come by, the wait this time being longer because of the disturbance from his miss. Another fish swam under him, his spear catching it directly on its head, sticking while the fish lashed and flailed. Fighting against the fishes last efforts at freedom, Teance gripped the spear with both paws and used it to hurl the fish to land. He waited for it to stop struggling before he gripped the spear again and dragged it over Raux, admiring her catches. "Aye, if'n we don't need this un I knew a likkle griffin whe'd be happy te gyve it te the Minion Shop," Teance said with a smile, remembering Eclipse's excitement at receiving Nyali.

Watching Teance fish, Raux smiled proudly as she picked up her catch to bring it back over to Teance's, looking to the fish. All of roughly the same size. "Indeed, Sieg is always speaking of trying to feed the Minions." Waving her tail slightly, she settled into the sand and looked to her companion.
"Let's eat?" She would let him choose first, since she wasn't too picky about her own food.

Teance set his fish aside, choosing one of the fish Raux had set down next to him. It had been a while since he had eaten with anyone, and even when he had, it had been with his fellow pirates. Table manners were definitely not one of their strong points as Teance soon showed. He dug into the fish, tearing it apart with his claws and teeth before looking up with a nervous grin at Raux, wondering what landbound Kimera's eating habits were.
