so this morning, i was all happy, getting ready for school, until i logged onto yahoo to check my mail. &whoahoho, to the left of the screen, there was an article that said 'santas told to say ha ha ha instead of ho ho ho'. here!i mean, wtf?! isnt that kind of paranoid? yes, i understand that the phrase could be offensive to women, but come on. i don't believe in santa anymore, but when i go to the mall, i do want to hear the comforting& joyful sound of the mall santa spreading love to the ickle kiddiez. :C [did that sound cheesy? =/] all this just ruins the christmas feeling for me. these people should think of how long that santas have already been using that phrase, and no one should be able to stop the tradition. >:U

Aw, poor Santa. Santas don't mean no harm! They should let him keep his 'ho ho ho'. I mean, do kids really even know what that means? Hopefully not. And Santa saying 'ho ho ho' doesn't even mean it that way!

My goodness the world is getting crazy...
A girl was sent home from school and got detention for hugging a friend whose parent had died.
A little boy got in trouble for drawing a stick figure with a gun. (And I mean little. Like, kindergarten or something.)
And now Santa can't even say "Ho ho ho?" Gosh.

For hugging a friend??? tsk tsk. Although a little kid drawing a picture with a gun is a bit worrisome...

I have NO idea what they're trying to solve with that. And while little kids and guns don't seem like they should be associated, you have to know that a lot of little boys play with G.I Joes, toy soldiers, cops and robbers with friends, etc. It's actually commonplacce for a kid to know what a gun is. They usually just don't understand the significance, because the "good guy" uses the gun to beat the "bad guy," y'know?

I hate PC! SCREW IT!!!!! WITH SOMETHING HARD AND SAND-PAPERYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST FREAKIN' TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL, Let Me Borrow That Top
It seems as if the world is getting worse in terms of morals and such, like all of these gum commercials and such and the shows on TV are sooo sexual. And yadda yadda yadda, marketing towards the youth who chew it, yeah, I get that, but do these companies want to screw up society? So, as I was saying, the world is getting worse in terms of morals, and people are trying to stop it by doing things like this that are SOOOO NON-SEQUITOR. But that being said...
I will miss Santa saying ho ho ho. If I ever see a Santa doing that at a store, I am going to YELL at him.
By doing this the older kids who still believe in Santa (I wish I still believed in Santa! <333) will know that there might be something wrong with ho ho ho, causing them to ask their parents and maybe find out and use it.
DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY THINK ABOUT THIS STUFF????!!!!

Grin Evilly says: 'Ha ha ha'?
Doesn't have that same warm, Christmas-y feel like 'Ho ho ho' does.
And Santa has been saying that since FOREVER.
No one can dominate Santa.

@spindra; yeah, seriously. nowadays, kids get that material from school and the media. but...from santa? wtf?
@taormina; lawlz. same here.
@valerie; n-n-no hugs? TwT well, actually, my school is like that too. but everyone still hugs everyone else, 'cause the administration doesn't really pay attention. =/ oh, and i agree with you on the gun thingy. in fact, i don't think i've ever met a boy between the ages of four and six that didn't know what a gun was. if you stand in a room with a group of ickle children, there's no doubt that all the boys will start going 'BANG BANG! BOOM! WH-PEWSH!' in less than a second.
@thedarknerd; D; i'll miss santa, too. at the moment, this rule has only been used in australia, but i assume it'll spread to other places sooner or later. &on the way to school, i told mah friend that if i ever see a santa saying 'ha ha ha', i'mma bitchslap him. >:U
@therainbowspork; xD yuss! yuss, exactly!
@grinevilly; that's exactly what i'm thinking. god damn stewpid people. T-T

That makes me sick. If a kid who still believes in Santa and knows what a "ho" is, is a true shame.
Plus, like my sister just said {she's reading over my shoulder} "wtf?! 'ha ha ha' isn't jolly!"
"Ha ha ha, a merry christmas to all, and to all a good night!" Ick, ick, ick. That sounds kinda creepy :/

Valerie521 Yeah, there are schools that have a strict ban on hugging now. I have NO idea what they're trying to solve with that. There's this religious school where I live. They banned Harry Potter stuffs.
But one of the kids went to see the 5th movie, and was telling his friends about the rule about "boys and girls must be a meter apart from eachother" or something like that.
One of the nuns heard and decided to have that rule in their school. So now, no two humans, whether they be male or female may be closer than one meter from eachother.

"ha ha ha" doesn't make his stomach jiggle like a bowl full of jello the same way "ho ho ho" does. D:
