This is where the snow is deepest, ten feet deep in fact. Below the snow is a frozen ground that has a thick sheet of slippery ice below it. However, at the opposite side of where the users begin, there is a lodge that contains supplies of all kinds(basic shinobi equipment - sorry, no super powerful stuff).

Oso walked into the area, still carrying the fish he had caught in the previous area, "Oh come on! why does it have to be snow! seriously, its getting into my boots goddamit! how the hell am i suppose to cook something in this f****** weather?! god, you'd think they'd change it up a bit or something." He stood there in the snow, looking around for Haruka to show up.

. o O ( You will be with your partner, just a few of you will have to tough it out on your own for the beginning. I am changing a few things to make some people complaints more bearable. So listen to the ANBU announcements from now on. )

Oso frowned at him, "the air is god damn cold." he muttered.
He looked around for a dry spot, "great, nowhere to prepare a fire. ah well, guess we'll have to just eat 'em raw." he threw the sword with 3 fish over to Haruka, "i don't have enough chakra to use any of my jutsus to cook these things, so unless you know of another way, we've got raw fish and ice for dinner."
he bent over and picked up some of the snow, placing some in his mouth and allowing it to melt into nice cold water.

HAruka smiles "nah, it's not cold. just think of it as, you wont have night sweats." Catching the sword "nope, i dont know how to cook them. but if you want we can defrost the rest?"

"You won't have time to defrost them." Said a voice as a large figure rose from the snow. He easily was towering around 8 feet tall as his mouth of razor-sharp teeth shown down at them.

Oso sighed, "just my luck. seriously, am i ever going to be able to just sit down and take a bite of fish? throughout this whole damn exam all i've had to eat was some ice." He looked up at the figure, "alright, i guess we don't get any choice but to fight you huh?"
He swung his sword, throwing fish at the man, and jumping backwards so as to put enough distance between him and the man for reaction timing.

Oso sized up the man in his head, damn, i really don't have much chakra, and i can't exactly fight too well in this environment, but i can't just leave Haruka to fight this guy alone.
he held the sword he had in his hand in a defensive stance, and began to think on how he would be able to bring down the behemoth.

Haruka looks back at Oso "it is your decision, i would hate for you to get knocked out of this tournament because of my fight. If you choose to stay back i will not have any problem with it." turning back to the Swordsman "this will be difficult, you were trained in the same village as i, you know the usual tricks dont you?"

"Precisely." He said with a small laugh, unstrapping his large blade from his back. The tip fell towards the ground and shatter the ice below their with ease, half of the blade still visible. "So, you accept?"
