THE ICE FIELD
The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field.

Luna walked into the battlefield, spear in hand and ChuChu around her neck as a make-shift scarf. "Ahhhh! Is it me or did this battlefield get COLDER? I swear...those arena-designers are out to give us hypothermia ChuChu!" She complained. ChuChu sneezed in reply.
"Oh well. Hello Lixue~! We're going to have three one on one matches, but on seperate days, right? Harsh training schedule for your pokemon! But I'm sure they'll get stronger through it. Ai looks like she's about ready to evolve!" She took her place in the directed trainer box etched out on the ice surface. She grabbed a pokeball from her legstrap.
"Ready? Prince! Com'mon out!"
The ball enlarged and opened, letting out a beam of red light materalizing into a Pidgeot. Prince flew around the arena, each wingflap bringing a cool gust of wind to the battleground and made the air even colder.
Luna shivered, partly in excitement and partly because of the cold. ChuChu sneezed once again. "Gazuntite..."

Lixue came out wearing a nice warm coat and of course Scout on her back like a backpack again. The cold didn't bother her or Scout since he was an ice pokemon.
"Hey Luna. Yeah..it seems Ai is pretty close."
She swung Scout off her back and he landed gracefully on the ice. His clawed feet like ice blades. "Sneasel Snease!"

"Ready for a beating Scout?" Luna teased. "Prince! Let's start things off with a feather dance!"
"Ge!" Prince replied. He flew overhead Scout, allowing glowing feathers to float down. It was a pretty sight...at first. Right afterwords, Prince made a u-turn, hovering and facing Scout. Then, he flapped his wings into a gust attack, causing it to blend with the feather dance. The result was what made Aeon half blind - a whirling tornado of now-sharp feathers.

Scout curled up into a ball with his head tucked under him. While the feathers beat him in the back.
"Scout! Slash!"
Scout used the ice to give him some speed as he slide across and then used some ice chunks to propel him upwards in a slash attack at Prince.

"Let's give him a ride Prince! Tail wind!"
Prince allowed Scout to give his leg a cut, but in return, grabbed onto Scout's tail with his good talon to hover the pokemon in the air. Then, he let out a war cry. Wind started to blow. Hard. Prince immediately took advantage of it and took off in the direction of the wind, giving him acceleration. More and more speed.
When the two reached a particularly large pillar of ice, Prince let go of the pokemon and headed upwards again while leaving Scout flying towards a pillar with the wind behind him.

Scout flew towards the pillar and then with his claws dug in on impact. He was slightly dizzy from the hard landing but he stuck. He shook his head and climbed to the top.
"Metal Claw!"
Scout flashed his claws and then hardened and shone. He skated across the ice pillar and launched at Prince.

"Steel wing!"
Prince's wing grew hard and glinted due to the sun. He met Scout's attack straight on, the two attacks creating a Clink! noise. The two were locked into position for a while until gravity started to take it's effect. Prince broke the position by thrusting his wings down, hoping to knock off Scout as well as stop himself from falling.

"Fury Swipes!"
The attack bearly glinted off his claws and then he swept back and started to slash towards Prince in a fury of claws.

"Prince! Knock him away with steel wing again! Show him your place!"
Prince blocked every claw for claw with his hard wings, but ended up having a few scratches as a result. Prince then flew towards Scout who was still stuck in the air - his territory. He stretched out his wings to cut Scout as he flew past the sneasel.

Only his claws where getting the blows from Prince as he blocked. Soon he landed on the ice again and watched Prince carefully as if stalking.
"Quick Attack!"
Scout suddenly moved like a blur across the ice and once again propelled himself into the air in a quick attack at Prince.

"Prince! You know what to do!"
Once again, as if to make a point that HE ruled the skies, Prince spiraled down towards Scout with hardened wings. He forced the other pokemon downward, while taking a few scratches of his own on his cheek. "You'll never win against me!" He said to the other pokemon, "As long as I'm in the sky."

"Lixue! You need more control over Scout! Okay Prince! Let's end this! Wing attack!"
Prince flew directly towards the metal claw headfirst. The attack cut a small but deep cross shaped scar on his face, barely missing his eyes. Prince cried out. "GEOOOOOOO!" The large bird pokemon gained speed as he burst past Scout, his attack invisible to the human eye due to it being well...wind.
