You're testing for Light Master, right?
THEN LET'S GET TO IT!!! scream
Arena: A large Roman-type Colosseum. Four torches are lining the arena, at the four points of the compass. It's high noon, and the sun is shining bright, without a cloud in the sky. Perfect for light!
Rules:
-No god-modding, you should know that.
-The tester shall not use full strength, and the testee shall not be at Master level.
-The match will go on until one of the fighters is unable to battle, or the thread reaches 5 pages, at which, Gler shall decide on who won.
-Keep it clean! No dirty tactics.
And that's it! LET'S BEGIN!

All is still in the massive Colosseum. Its might commands all who draw near it to fall silent. Not a speck of dust is stirred....
Then, a small puff blows off the stadium floor. The torches flicker a little. Winds begin to pick up, as Gler approached, from the air. It became breezy as he hovered over the arena. Gler descended down into the colosseum's center. Winds whipped and whirled about him, kickinng up a good bit of dust. His feet touched ground, and in a blast of wind, the dust was pushed away from Gler, leaving the arena clean.
Gler stood there, in a proud pose, awaiting the person who wished to be tested.

((Liche is sleeping over tonight so he's postin with me :3 Oh and gler "proud pose" made me laugh XD)) A matured teenager walked into the light of the torch, revealing a lightly torn grey t-shirt, faded jeans, two lustrous bracers, dirty sneekers and dustry brown hair. Once his full body was in plain sight, he announced himself. "Uh...hey Im Zane. Your most likely Gler right? Well it's nice to meet you, even if you're about you rip me to shreds." The last part was mumbled a bit. Expecting the fight to start quickly, Zane reached into his pocket and pulled out a shimmering golden pearl. With one shot of concentrated light, the pearl started morphing slowly into an equally glowing and bright broad sword, which the owner grasped with two hands firmly in front of him. "Well...here goes."

"Ah, I see... we have very similar weapons...."
Gler reached for the hilt of his weapon. With a slow metal-against-metal sound, he pulled out his broadsword. It was a semitar, to be exact, and a very unique one, at that.
It was slightly more curved, and had a weird cut at the tip. The sword itself was a sky blue color, and shined brightly. The wrist guard was in the shape of a spiraled cloud, that turned into feathers. The hilt winded down to a rounded end, where a long, white feather was tied.
Gler easily held the sword in one hand, as the sky blue metal it was made of is surprisingly light, despite its hardness. "Well, do you want to make the first move, or shall I?" Gler waved his sword a little in anticipation.

Zane sighed in relief. "Oh good. I was afraid you were like a drill instructor or something. Regardless Im more of a defensive kinda person so by all means, please go first." Thinking of what he could do in response to anything, Zane jammed the blade of his sword into the dirt so only the bottom half of the golden weapon was showing. Without any hand gestures or postures, he just simply stood there in response.

"Very well," Gler said, poising himself to jump, "here I....COME!" Gler pounced at Zane, sword drawn back to strike. He flew the distance towards him, and in mid-air changed the direction he was going to swing the sword.
Instead of slicing sideways at Zane, Gler struck downwards, aiming for the hilt of his sword...
