Before anybody asks, this isn't based on a particular season of Digimon, though it is very much NOT based on four. YOU HAVE A PARTNER! At the start, your partner is a Rookie, but he/she will digivolve at some point . Not a permanent evolution, but more like the show, where they eventually revert back to Rookie form.

For anyone interested who knows little or nothing about Digimon, your partner progresses in the following progression:

In-Training-->Rookie-->Champion-->Ultimate-->Mega

More on Megas in the RP itself...I have a surprise about them if we can get this started.

Also, ANY Digimon is welcome, including Digimon that you made up yourself! For newbies to the Digimon World, when you name you're Digimon, end the name in -mon. For instance, Devimon, Greymon, Beelzemon, Beatyourfacemon, etc. Don't ask why, its just a thing.


Rules:
The obvious, of course, is to follow Gaia TOS. Doesn't do much good to have RPers that are going to get banned, now, does it?
PG-17-ish, please. Violence is okay, but not to extremes. Even in Japan, Digimon have a strange tendency not to bleed...
No Godmodding, which I feel ESPECIALLY important in a Digimon RP because godmodders could simply decide to progress too rapidly through Digivolution...
And on that topic, I am the DM for this RP, meaning that my rule is law, for those of you who aren't familiar with the term, and if you godmod or otherwise get out of hand, I reserve the right to DM smite you. I'm a nice guy, so you'll get warnings first, but just be warned that I can and will DM smite.
Romance is acceptable, although its primarily an adventure RP, but, as with every other RP, no cybering.

You will be playing TWO characters: YOU and YOUR DIGIMON PARTNER. PLEASE use different colors!
Also, I reserve the right to update these rules, but I'll notify you in multiple ways if there's a major change.

Personality: She is a competitive person who likes to win, she is inteligent, strategic and cares about her digimon.
Partner's Personality: Guilmon is normally playful and friendly, but also is a curious and naive digimon
Bio: Akamaki was alway interested in the cardgame, Digimon. She was very competitive and always won. She was very suprised when her card swiper changed and then next day Guilmon appeared. It was at first dificult to keep him hidden until he one day walked into her house and her parents saw him. A little after that her parents said they were going to move because her fathers work was closer in the new house. So they packed up and moved to the new city.




Gaianame: Sierra_Lily (note, my mule account is Yuuna_Takara)
Character: Mereia Tatsuki (pronounces Mear-eh-ah Taht-skee)
Age: 16
Appearance: (Her shoes are black Mary Janes)Mereia
Digimon Partner: Shizumon (pronounced Shee-zuu-mon)
Appearance: A small pixie shaped Digimon. She has a small (around 15cm diameter) round body with gold coloured wings poking out from her sides. Basically, she almost looks like a miniature Pixiemon (but I won't be including him)
Partner's Attack: Emerald Dust! - Shizumon spits out 'pixie dust' per say the colour of emeralds that eventually appear to be sharp needles
Personality: Mereia is very quiet, but when provoked, she can get very loud and annoying. Most of the time, however, she can be considered a bookworm and a school nerd.
Partner's Personality: Bubbly, naive, and cute. It is impossible for Shizumon to be sad or shut up for that matter
Bio: Mereia grew up in Spain where she first met Shizumon. She had been walking to school (she was 12) when a small pixie-like thing jumped out in front of her. Mereia was shocked when the thing explained that it was a Digimon, a digital monster, and had remained in schock as it explained that there was an alternate universe called the Digital World. Finally, it introduced itself as Shizumon. Mereia had quite the challenge hiding the creature from her parents as Shizumon was very loud. When they moved to the city the story takes place in, Mereia had to threaten Shizumon with no food to get her to shut up and act like a stuffed toy. Shizumon obliged, and as of current, her parents hardly know Shizumon exists. Mereia considers herself one of the most informed about Digimon of any Digidestined. (Think of Rika from season 3)

Digimon Partner: He is dubbed Ryojimon (Like a Male version of Renamon lol)
Partner's Attack: Diamond Storm, Bow of the Heavens.
Personality: Helpful,cool,bringer of justice,friendly (For the most part lol)
Partner's Personality: He's Cool,besides when he's talking to people he trusts he's anti-social,is a true friend of Seishi.
Bio: On that fateful night, Seishi went on a walk to clear his head from family issues. From the distance that a storm was coming. But from the formation it didn't seem like a regular storm so he felt he should head back. The next morning he left without seeing the news. He headed for his secret spot in the forest to escape. As he walked he heard a male voice "Diamond Storm!" As Seishi turned around he saw many gigantic blasts come at him. Before they reached him,a light shot from his chest blocking the blasts. A small device appeared in his hands and from there an adventure was born.

Partner's Attack: Leo Claw, Critical Bite
Personality: Isao is very anti-social and yet very protective. Other than Leormon has little to no friends because he doesn't want other to get hurt. Defeats wild digimon to protect the world while trying to find a permanent solution.
Partner's Personality: Very loyal to his partner but very protective. Will go against his partner's will in order to do he thinks is best for his partner. Very stubborn and is convinced he is always correct. Is also very arrogant and will often attack foes clearly stronger than he is.
Bio: Isao was always the quiet guy in class that would always pay attention but wouldn't say much. He would spend most of his free time on his computer examining whatever caught his interest. One day he saw a storm coming but could tell that the storm was different somehow. He spent he night examining it on his computer. He could see that it was different but couldn't tell what it meant. He fell asleep at his computer examining the storm. The next day he found Leormon his his room and his life was changed forever. Since then he has traveled to this city, a location where the monster reports seem to be the highest. He has made a base of operation here preventing wild digimon from doing much harm and at the same time looking for a way to prevent the digimon from coming through.

Appearance: it looks like gatomon, but it is orange, with a fox tail and black glove things instead of green and purple
Partner's Attack: Storm Rage: a storm appears from nowhere and frightens the enemy no matter what.
Fire Claws: the claws on the glove thingys become fire and she attacks
Personality: she is quiet and calm, but when she is angered she has a fiery temper. she is sometime shy, but always speaks her mind
Partner's Personality: oftenly uses sarcasm, but is loyal and is always there to fight.
Bio: Nali was always picked on, and one day was running from some bullies and tripped on a sleeping Echomon. she turned and saw the bullies quaking with fear as a storm had started out of nowhere. once the bullies and storm was gone, Echomon gave her a strange device.



Gaianame: Miss Ionic
Character: Amika
Age: 16
Appearance: Amika is rather short, tanned skin, mid-back and layered blond hair. She has blue-green eyes, and wears a pair of rectangular shaped glasses over said eyes. She is wearing a light-orange plaid bucket hat with a flower attached, along with a sundress of the same colour. She has a bright green zip-up hoodie with yellow lining that she wears whenever it is colder, and has it tied around her waist the rest of the time. She wears several rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, usually silver, and she wears a pair of brown hiking boots with socks that have been rolled down.
Digimon Partner: Gabumon
Appearance: Gabumon
Partner's Attack: Howling Blaster (releases a stream of blue flames from his mouth) and Horn Attack (attacks with the horn on his head)
Personality: Playful, and likes to joke around a lot. Likes to see others smile, even if they’re in a bad situation. When it is needed, she can be very serious, especially if someone is in danger of being harmed. She has a rather motherly feel about her when she’s not joking around. Enjoys to cook and looks out for the well being of those around her. She is generally a very happy person.
Partner's Personality: He is a lot more serious then his partner is, almost over protective of Amika and has begun to refer to her as his ‘Little Sister’.
Bio: Her parents were always off on business trips and they felt bad to leave her all alone at home all the time, so they sent Amika to live with her aunt and uncle whom lived in the city where the story takes place. Amika had been in the city for a grand total of two days, when it happened… she had gotten lost, again, coming home from her new school. She was wondering the darkening streets, utterly lost, when she had found an injured Tsunomon (Gabumon’s ‘in-training’ form). Feeling sorry for the thing, she put him into her school bag and (eventually) brought him home. The next morning, she found Tsunomon quite energetic, and a digital device under her pillow. The rest, is history…

Partner's Attack: Corona shpere, and blinding light
Personality: Laid back, and calm. Usualy helpsif asked, otherwise stays out of other's affairs
Partner's Personality: Exitable, naging, but serious when he needs to be
Bio: His parents constantly moved, making him a loner because he never got to know anyone well enough before he moved, therefore, when his father died, and his mother moved the family to Amika. He finally started to come out of his shell. after the next few days, he wandered the city, and found a young Sunmon(coronamon's 'in training' mode) soaking up the light of the sun, he kept it as a private pet, finding that it liked hot / spicy food like him, and when he took it home after a week of secrecy, he passed it off as a candle due to its single flame on it's head. the next morning, he awoke to a warmth on his chest, and found a digital device in the same spot. he rest as they say, is history.

Bio: I moved to this city after i experienced a fire, which took my parents lives. My grandparents live here and have taken costudy to raise me. I stumbbled upon an egg and saw strange designs imprinted on it. Before i could pick it up a strange yellow device was thrown at me. When i picked up the egg, it began to glow along with the device. It was getting late and i was hungry. Mysteriously I found myself in front of my appartment door. I ran in, feeling movement in the egg I bolted my way into my room where the egg hatched unexpectedley. Out of the egg hatched tokomon. He introduced himself to me and promised to protect me. Then i fed him and he grew orange into Patamon

Partner's Personality: always wanting a fight adventures
Bio: Jay is a mysterious kid. he never had any friends, he only had a cat. now he has a friend who actually talks to him. Jay learned a lot from demiveemon. He learned how to make friends and how to actually fight with another friend. Jay and demiveemon sometimes have fights at the worst moments, but they always find a way to beat the bad guys and stop more digimon from coming over into the human world.





Gaianame: The Pink Bagel Lord
Character: Monkuta Jakys
Age: 25
Appearance: Monkuta is a relatively tall man. He has purple hair of average length that spikes down all around his head. His eyes are bright yellow, and he wears one earing in his left ear. He is caucasian with slightly tan skin. He wears a white turtle-neck sweater and beige cargo pants.
Digimon Partner: Inazumon
Appearance: Inazumon is a small wolf-looking creature with bright green eyes and stark white fur. His stomach, face and tail tip are a brownish yellow.
Partner's Attack: Shockwave - Inazumon stomps the ground sending a wave of electricity through the ground below towards the target. Once underground, only he knows where the shock is going.
Dashing Slash - Inuzamon dashes forward at high speeds and slashes and bites with his paws and fangs as he goes.
Personality: Monkuta is serious, silent, not very social, and very independent. He will take help when offered and join groups of people, he just won't talk to them unless necessary. He doesn't understand sarcasm or jokes, making him very hard to be around.
Partner's Personality: Inuzamon is friendly, playful, and very loud creature. It is hard to keep him calm and quiet. Most people would mistake him for an oddly colored puppy at first glance. He is easily annoyed by Monkuta's anti-socialism, and has dedicated himself to making Monkuta a happier, friendlier person.
Bio: Monkuta grew up in this city, living a mostly normal life. He graduated top of his class every year in school and was never bullied because of it. He assumed this was because all of the bullies were too intimidated by his silent but proud nature to come near him. He never bothered to ask them because it wasn't very important. He taught philosophy to seniors in high school after he graduated from college. One day he was eating his lunch under a tree on a hill overlooking the city and heard a loud snoring from the other side. Monkuta looked to see what it was and found Inuzamon sleeping there. The digimon awoke immeadiately and threw a small computer-type device into Monkuta's hands. Monkuta knows about Inuzamon's powers and that he is no normal dog, but doesn't know or care about the existence of digimon, as Inuzamon has been to preoccupied with being annoying to tell him. They have lived together in Monkuta's apartment since then.

Sei wandered the night away walking at night as he usually did. "Such a foggy night." Sei said continuing his walk trying to clear his mind.

During his walk he heard "Big ice blast" from behind him. "What the hell is that!?" Sei thought as he jumped out of the way. Sei took a minute to stare, his next move was to run. Sei ran as fast as he could to reach his apartment.

Sei ran to his hideout in the woods that he had built to get away from the hardships of life. As Sei sat to catch his breath he heard a male voice shout "Diamond Storm!" without looking Sei hit the deck. Many blasts past his head,he was frightened out of his mind. Think the worst had past,Sei stood up and brushed himself off. Noticing to late,another wave of blasts approached him. "It was a good run..." Sei thought. Just then a bright light shielded him from the blasts. A small red and black device fell into his hand. "The mysterious voice said "So it seems i have found you." The mysterious voice said as he appeared in front of Sei and knelled. Looking at the fox like creature, Sei asked "who...or rather what are you?" Sei asked "Ryojimon..."

Ryojimon spent the next 30 minute explained what the strange device was and who he was also gave a deck of cards (I so don't know what the diffrent kinds were but i will make them as believable as possible.) and stressed i should keep extra care of the blue card. "Wow...this is....just so much to handle..." Sei said heading for the forest entrance.

"Don't worry i'll walk you through all of it. You'll be ok."

Ryojimon followed Sei out of the forest and began to walk down the street. Sei clipped the digivice to his pants and started conversating with Ryoji as they walked. "Do you mind if i call you just Ryoji" Sei asked.

"Sure..." Ryojimon said

Mereia walked down the streets, her nose in a think novel.

"Me wanna play, Merry!" a small yellow fairy like creature exclaimed, floating just above her shoulder. Mereia shook her head and continued walking.

"Listen, Shizumon, I'm busy. This novel is interesting..." she murmered, sounding annoyed. Shizumon started to screech, sounding angry.

"Me wanna play, me wanna play, me wanna play!" she screamed, flitting around her head. Mereia sighed.

"Ok--"

Guilmon, wait! That's not fair!" the teenage girl was cut off by the sound of another girl's voice. Then she saw a Digimon running towards her.

~A Digimon? Another one?~ she thought, surprised.
