The female was nested on a large cliff, and she carefully watched below her as a pathetic life resumed its daily tasks. It was a bright and miserable day, and she could only sneer angerly as little foals and families were prancing about. "I hope I didn't look that pathetic when I was growing up.." she then said to herself, before nipping at an itch on her leg. But seriously, she would have to ask her mother or father about such very soon..
Her life had become rather dull these days, and it had been awhile since she had had any other contact. It was just a month ago when she tore up that UniKalona she so despised, and thankfully her wounds healed in no time. It was a fun fight, and just thinking about it made her gleam to herself.
But still.. despite the daily hunts and random kills, she felt very complicated lately, but complicated was really because she was bored. Being a creature that was not very emotional, she assumed that her dull thoughts were only hinting to her that she needed to 'get out' more, and meet others. That in itself was very unlike her, and with a usual frown, she spat saliva and watched it fall from the height of the cliff. With a hefty snarl, she stood up, and stretched her legs idly.

"Filthy blooded, vile creature..." Snarled the ram-horned male as he trekked along the path, icey eyes darting around in hopes of catching sight of another. Particularily a female, one with his markings but not blessed to be of his kind. She was a filth... A child. And she had gotten away from him, but he would never admit that it was his carelessness that allowed her to escape. It had only been a few days, and surely enough he blamed her, believing that his step-sister actually felt safe with him and was stupid to run off. That was not the case, however, and something in the back of his head whispered it constantly.
That he was the fool, to leave her to hunt.
Another snarl slipped past his lips, his hoof-falls coming down harder onto the dry ground. The whole situation was clouding his thoughts, his senses. He had not had a good hunt in a few days, relying on smaller fry. It made not one bit of sense on how she could delude him for so long. She was merely a ground horse...
Up ahead, he did not notice the other mare, one who was of his own kind. He ground his teeth together, his tail flicking furiously.

Malice raised a brow as she noticed the male coming forward, and her teeth gritted against each other in a horrible screech. She had never seen a male of his coloring before, but from his wings and expression, she had to think for a moment before pondering an attack. It WAS a problem of hers, to always rush ahead and perform rash things. Her sisters were constantly laughing at her for that.
Since the male looked as though he was a Kalona, she needed to at least communicate before doing anything TOO rash, even though she loved being rash. "You there," she then said, in her low tone. "Your horns are interesting. Are you a Kalona?" She was always blunt, and would continue to be when it came to asking serious questions. She would need to know that kind of information, especially if it came to judging how worthy his life was.
Moving herself off the ledge, she grunted lightly before continuing her glare. She could sense the male's anger and discomfort, and that intrigued her. Being a creature that was incredibly angry herself, she was curious as to if he was violent as well.

The words of the mare pierced through his thoughts like a knife, and his steps stopped immediatly. His eyes quickly found the Kalona, and though he was more comfortable and proud of his kind... He'd prefer if they knew his place around him. It took him a moment to register her question, knowing very well she was addressing him.
A light smirk tugged at his lips, "They are, aren't they?" His brows rose as he studied the dark red mare, almost scoffing at her question, "You'd be very much a fool to think of me as something lesser." He hissed the last part nearly, standing tall and keeping his place as she removed herself from the ledge. It had been a while since he'd been approached by another Kalona... He'd spent too much damn time watching his filthy sister.
His smirk widened a bit at her glare, his eyes hard. He had a very good feeling she could tell that he was not quite in the best of moods, but then again when was he? Only when he was looking at his own reflection he felt quite at ease, but whenever he did so now, he saw a mare's face loking right back at him. A light growl rumbled deep in his throat, but he cleared hsi throat in an attempt to hide it. He knew better than to rile others.
Someone may get hurt, and it surely was not going to be him.

With a grin, she whipped her tail to the side of her stomach and walked a few steps around the stallion. She kept her distance, but she was slowly moving, since she always did such when talking. "Good." she then responded, feeling satisfied with his answer. At least he wasn't a pansy, she would be pissed if he were so.
"Tell me stallion, what is plaguing at your mind? Something is bothering you, and it is written all over your face. I noticed it when you walked over." Maybe he was just constantly angry? Either way, Malice was amused, and she hadn't been amused in awhile. Hopefully their conversation would be worthwhile.. and fun in a twisted way.
With a light snort, she widened her grin and dragged the tip of her tail against the rocky ground. "You should exterminate whatever is bothering you, so then you don't have to think about it anymore. It works every time."
Malice was being unusually talkative.. and it was making her smile a bit. But either way, the stallions discomfort was fascinating her.

He watched her tail whip about, attentive in case she turned out to be a little muderous with strangers. Their spade-like stails were certainly no toy, and he was not up to a fight today. He was very sure of that, but if it came to it, well... No big deal. She was a mare, afterall. She took a few steps in the direction he as heading, keeping the distance between them as she walked as well. Persephonix's eyes flickered to her face, his smirk slipping from his face.
He particularily did not like it when his emotions were readable.
"Exterminate the problem, eh? Hm," He repeated her words in a false tone of thoughtfulness, his eyes narrowing breifly as he looked away. "Can't exactly get rid of it when it just so happens not to be under my watch anymore." Glances back to her, his crooked smirk tugging at his lips once more, "I'd be a fool to believe you are genuiney interested in hearing about what's been digging at me. Let's put it this way," he paused, taking a very light step towards her, "A little rat has slipped past me, and I have been unable to locate it. Once I do, a trap'll be set and SNAP! Little lost rat'll have it's neck snapped. Though I'd rather not kill it so quickly."

Malice, rather then being phased by the stallion's words, was grinning even wider at this point. "It sounds like a truly horrible rat. But I am most curious as to how it got away. You seem like a stallion who could handle himself.. and not lose any specimens." Well.. he should be like that, at least! His rat must have been a lesser of some sort, and that was making Malice giddy with approval.
"Quick deaths are terrible, don't you think? There is no time to enjoy oneself, and I find torture very soothing in a sense. So if this little bug ran away from you, I think you should make it pay as much as you'd like in return for its awful sins."
She was passionate on the subject, so Malice was rambling. It had been awhile since she had tore any lessor flesh, and her body was aching miserably. After the discussion with this male, she would have to go out on a hunt of some sort.. and really enjoy herself.
Though, at the moment she was quite content, and was finding enjoyment in what this stallion was talking about. That alone was very shocking to her!

His smirk faded once more. He was not very sure on how the rat slipped away. He had just gone off to hunt... He was very, very sure that her leg was still broken. The thought that she had been faking her broken limb did not enter his mind as he stared off for a moment, gathering his thoughts. He chuckled a bit at her words, eyeing her out of the corner of his eye, "You know, that quite surprised me myself, how it got away. Rats are rats, sneaky little things. Get the best of us," He flicked his tail, attempting to not lure himself into his grudge from earlier. When he mulled over the rat's possible escape plan, it bothered him deeply.
"Oh, yes, I quite agree. There's not satisfaction in it... If anything, it's what they want. It's what the rat wanted. It wll pay dearly when I catch it." His smirk had come back bigger than ever at the thought of punishing the illegit child of his father and some lesser. She was not meant to be of this world; he was God to her for letting her live in it. He chuckled once more, and turned to look at the mare more closely. Though he did respect his kind, he oten did not show respect to others of it.
But he certainly was quite fnd of this mare's views.
"Tell me," Persephonix began, jering his head abit to move his unruly bangs from his line of sight, "Have you ever had a rat, caught it and taught it well?" By taught it well he surely meant torture, and he believed the mare was smart enough to pick up on that. He'd be a fool to think s if she didn't.

Rather then asking the stallion more on the escape of the rat, Malice decided to shift in on their other discussion, since the stallion seemed extremely unhappy with his current situation. "Well it is good to hear that your priorities are set well, since punishment is inevitable. It is also important to enjoy yourself in the process of torture, and it looks like you plan to." She chuckled lightly, before bringing her dark eyes on the stallion.
At his question, she could only smirk, before flapping her wings lazily. "My last catch was with this pathetic UniKalona. They are DISGUSTING creatures, and it is probably the biggest shame one could ever witness on this terrible planet. I was more shocked then angry, and I quickly took the steps to get rid of the fool." With a pause, she gritted her teeth in a usual way, since it was a dirty habit of hers.
"Only problem was.. the ******** had one of those 'Uni" horns on his head, so he ended up healing his legs, I think. I'll have to hunt him down soon.. since I heard he is still alive." With a hiss, she moved her eyes away from the stallion, realizing she had her OWN rat to deal with. "It seems we will both be busy in some matters soon." Heh, at least the stallion wasn't the only one!
"What is your name, Stallion?" she then said, while realizing they had skipped past the formalities. The conversation was too comforting for the usual formal crap, and that made Malice grin in amusement.

(I am SO sorry that I didn't tag this earlier! Just a few das ago I saw that you replied. x___x)
The mare at least had some common sense, for if she persisted with questions about the escapee, he'd prove to be a very unpleasant aquaintance. His crooked smirk pulled at his lips and nodded at her chuckle. Well damn straight he had his priorities set well. And it appeared she did too.
"A Unikalona?" He repeated, his voice feigning amazement. That would be quite the catch, and to rid of one... It was quite the good deed! But as she continued, his smirk slipped away. Their horns... That was a rat indeed to deal with. "It looks like we both will," he sgreed, nodding thoroughly. He -was- going to find his sister, and he was fairly sure she would find the horrible mutt. "Though I will say, and it is rare for me to think positively of another, that you'll find the abomination and rid of him properly. You seem competent enough."
He tossed his mane casually and took a light step towards her, consdering her carefully. "Persephonix," he simply said, his smirk coming back, "And what happens to be your name?" He inquired, rolling his eyes in a bit of a playful manner, seeing that they were formerly introducing themselves now. That often happened at the beginning of a meet, but he was quite pleased with speaking first and then introductions.
"Now, it may be obvious or not, but I do not hail from here. Will I be lucky enough to run into more pleasurable company here, or will it be more infested with rats?" He rose a brow, curious for her answer. He was sure that there were more than needed lessers hanging around, and that would indeed keep him full, but Persephonix was also sure that he'd get sick by their constant presence.

"I pride myself on being competent enough." she then added, while scoffing at the thought of the Unikalona. He really was the worst creation in the world. "But ah well, circumstances are meant to be dealt with, and I try to be prominent in my decisions. I can tell you do the same." With a curved grin, the female paced forward a bit, since she usually did such while in thought.
"Glad to meet you, Persephonix. I am Malice." Yes, indeed she was, but she was glad that they now knew each other's names. "And about your question of company, there seems to be a terrible mix of the two. There are plenty of Kalona roaming around this land, some being honorable, while the others are rats themselves. But the rats leave lots of room for your stomach, so I don't complain at their site. I just complain at their actions." Turning to smile back at the stallion, Malice flicked her bangs out of her eyes, while sighing at a small thought.
"You get used to putting others in their place. Some Kalona use words, but I tend to use my jaw. That always seems to do the job." Why the hell should she give a lessor the time of day? She would never give them any kind of respect, so violence was always the best option. "So, if you are new to this place, do you plan on hanging around for awhile?" She was curious, since he seemed interested on how the area worked and such.
