Charu rolled around in a bit of leaves. The flung in the air as she threw her paws up as she rolled. It made things more fun when leaves fell upon you. She laughed and giggled as she did so. Covered in leaves that stuck as if they had glue on them. Only her eyes, years, paws, and bits of her fur, could one see if they were looking down into the little clearing she was in.
They would have thought her a tiny leaf creature. The weather was a typical fall day. Cold, yet not cold enough to keep kids huddled next to their parents. Though, even snow couldn't keep Charu from having a little fun. She stopped rolling around and sat up, shaking the leaves off her body. Or at least trying to. Most of them had come off, but one or two were still on her. Though, she didn't notice at all.

Nevrast made his way through the leaf litter , he found the crunch of the leaves exciting as he began to increase his pace through the edge of a tree's shadow.
And then he saw it. A moving mounds of leaves, his body began to cramp up and shake. He was nervous. "He-hhhh-helloo?" He said forcefully, hoping it wasnt a monster.

Charu turned quickly to realize she was being watched by someone. Though the voice was very familiar. She laughed as she tried to shake of more leaves. "Help me, brother?" she asked him hoping he'd realize that she wasn't some type of strange creature.
Of course, more of her black, purple, blue, and green was showing now. her tail wagged, flicking off a few more leaves as she grinned at her brother. She looked the most like their father out of all of them. "I think the leaves like me!"

Nevrast sighed , then he laughed. "Wow, how'd you get them to like you, i always squish them." HE frowned as he hopped into a mound of leaves too, hearing them crunch under the weight of his body. "Y'see? I think i killed them."

Charu laughed at him. She didn't know, some of them crushed when she rolled on them, but a lot of them stuck to her. Was probably from the water. "I was just rolling in them." She said with a giggle. Could leaves really like them? Could they really die? She didn't know, and would have to ask someone later. If she remembered. She picked a leaf off her paw and looked at it as if it had been giving her a hug.

Nevrast frowned some more. "MAybe im too smart for them." He picked leafs away from him. "I am of superior Intellect." He felt it, this was his first taste of it. He felt better then these mere leaves.
He stood and took a step out of the leaf pile. "I'm over these leaves, lets go somewhere else Charu." He blinked a few times then looked around to look for a place to go.

She didn't even realize he called her stupid. She nodded at him as he spoke about the leaves, with a smile upon her face. Her tail continued to bob back and forth. It was like it had a motor of it's own, run on batteries. "Oh! Where are we going?" She asked as she followed him. A leaf still stuck to her face, that she hadn't noticed.

Nevrast had a devilish grin. "We are off to go swimming." He nodded and awaited for her to take a step and come with him. Nevrast was indeed starting to realize the fact that his sueprior intellect could get him places, and he quite liked it.

"Swimming?" She wasn't use to swimming, well not yet. She'd watched fish do it. Maybe that's how she did? She bounced along side of him. "Sounds fun!" She grinned at her brother, not catching the evil grin he had upon his face.

Nevrast trotted away, knowing his sister would follow. He cimbed up the hill and ran down, kicking a rock into the pond, then hiding into a bush before charu could notice. "Let us test her, yes?" he said to himself as he awaited her reaction

Charu, not really paying attention to where her brother went, except for walking in the same direction. She looked down to see the water, and nothing else but some bushes. Where did her dear brother go? She figured perhaps he was already in the water. She went closer to the edge of the water to see. Though, getting distracted from a shiny rock, she forgot about finding her brother. "OH! So pretty!"

Nevrast snuck up on her , slowly he stopped and then continued to go toward her and jsut when the moment was right, he merely pushed her into the shallow, frigid waters of the pond. "How's the water, sister?" he asked slyly and then awaited a response.

She let out a loud squeak as she plunged into the water from a push. She splashed about before her paws found the slippery rocks below. The water wasn't that cold. Or it was too cold for her to notice. "Come in and try it, and you'll see!" She said as she tried to walk along the shallow part of the pound but kept slipping. With each step she took, her head almost submerged under the now dirty water.
